Cuz we're missing something inside of us! Sometimes the road gets more desolate & lonely when you decide to follow Christ & we sometimes hit weak spots & fall into sin! Especially when you're fighting addictions; mental & physical health ailments combined with a lack of REAL community support... that's a recipe for the perfect storm. Personally, I'm tired of being overlooked & ignored! 😔
What I do know, is that when you decide to get closer to God, the devil is going to fight harder; especially when you have a high calling. We need to know this & not be ignorant to this fact! Being saved doesn't mean we will never sin again! It's a life long journey! 💜
    Please pray for me... 🙏🏼

The reason is that although it is true that our old man was crucified with Christ as it says in Romans 6 it is a spiritual truth that is not always reflected in the natural world. All of God’s promises are received through faith so the more we hold fast our confession of the truth of God’s Word that we are dead to sin in spite of the fact that we may still sin we will see what God says manifested in the natural world. The victory comes when start going by what Gods word says in spite of how we may feel because “we walk by faith and not by sight.”

I agree it does not happen like “magic” but it is definitely supernatural. I agree we must take up our cross and follow Jesus but that all comes from the fact that we are already “crucified with Christ” as Paul puts it. We are not striving to attain the victory but rather enforcing the victory that was won on the cross. This is done by faith in what Christ has already accomplished for us.

@@jesussaves3741 I struggled with this in my life, and one day the Holy Spirit showed me that I needed to make a list of me: qualities, faults, desires.
Then, to bring each of them one by one to the altar of sacrifice /cross, cut their throat and let them bleed, then burn them to ashes. That's the only way to crucify the self. For Christ to actually live in me and govern my life.... the "I" must go out of the picture. Our will is very strong and stubborn, the old self was used to be "god" in our lives, and resents being ignored or put out. There is where we actually need the Holy Spirit to help us.
Paul was carnal, full of himself, very proud and very religious! a PHARISEE! When Jesus encountered him in the way to Damascus his life was shattered... he realized he was nothing! He had to do this same process in order that Jesus could have ALL of him!
So, the reality is that I have to do it myself, just like Jesus laid His life for us, we must lay our corrupted life for Him. He already did His part. Now it is our turn. It hurts, because even though we are "born again", crucifying the desires of our heart... hurts. Jesus did suffer on that cross!
And we carry our cross daily, because new desires will pop up; the seeds of pride in our nature will want to pop up as well.... we must be very attentive and alert to continue to humble ourselves, fasting, buffeting our flesh - just like Paul did! This is a daily matter.
From my experience I say this: When somebody despises you and mistreat you, if you get offended you're automatically pushing out God from the throne of your heart, and sitting yourself on it. Then you turn "religious", but the joy, love of God no longer flow from you. One has to be very watchful to always remember "I am dead", "I won't take this personal", "Father, forgive them because they don't know what they do", and remit their sins. This is the Key to daily victory! Make sure that God is always sitting on the throne of our hearts, acknowledging we are dead, and as Psalm 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. God bless you, dear!

As Jesus said “according to your faith be it unto you” the way in which one “works out their salvation with fear and trembling” may differ from person to person. For one making a list of things that need to be crucified may help but for another simply accepting as fact that they have been crucified with Christ and standing upon this truth may help another. Either way Christians must be grounded in the fact that Christ has set us free from sin.

*IF* my flesh was crucified - why do I still sin? That's a better way to ask the question in order to get to the bottom of the problems, whatever they may be. Even Romans 6:8 says "IF we have died with Christ..." The argument is not with "BECAUSE we have died with Christ..." as this message says (@ 12:07). There is nothing paradoxical in what the scriptures teach as this message suggests (@ 12:29). If something is a sure fact, then what is supposed to follow it will follow it. But if no time is taken to make sure that "we have died with Christ" or "our old man was crucified with Him" or to humbly examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith and not just assume such is the case (2 Corinthians 13:5), then a person will not see the light in any struggles with sin and will just assume that is normal (encouraged by those who preach a lie).
The truth is there is no way to become a new creature (video @ 12:37), with old things having passed away and all things having become new (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 4:17-24) without genuine repentance. A person cannot just believe he is a new creature when the steps have never been taken to be in Christ Jesus and under no condemnation, not walking according to the flesh but according to the Spirit, having been made free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1-2).
Repentance and faith (obedience) are requirements for salvation (Acts 20:20-21).
      Hebrews 5:9
And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of eternal *salvation to all those who obey Him*
And the result of obeying Jesus is freedom from sin (John 8:31-36, Romans 6:6-7, Romans 6:16-18), not unending struggles with sin.

Sin is our default making it easy to sin , but be quick to repent. The Holy Spirit will convict us when we do sin intentionally so don’t for He leads us into all truth that grace will be available in time of need. If we continue sining then the Bible says “If we make the decision to sin after we receive the knowledge of the truth, there isn’t a sacrifice for sins left any longer.” Amen

Answers like the one that Mr Piper gave for this question aren't really helpful when it comes to clarification. It seems to me that what he addressed is the fact that we do still have a sin nature, which is true, and how we are to respond to that truth, which I think is actually insufficient, but he didn't really explain WHY it is that a Christian who is born again and whose flesh has been crucified and removed according to the biblical language still struggles with sin. So I will do my best to address the question in case anyone feels the same that I do.
From my understanding, the salvation that Christ purchased for us at the cross and in his subsequent resurrection is final and is instantaneously and irrevocably applied to all who are made born again at the hearing of the Gospel and their subsequent repentance and surrendering to the Lord in faith. That salvation is also the initiation of a life-long process of it being proven to us and the world that we belong to Jesus by us being made more and more like him over time and through much discipline and hardships to be overcome, just like we prove to be human by growing up from our conception into men and women. Our humanity is already true and sure, but the more time passes and the more we grow, the more it is made evident.
Now, that our flesh was crucified and removed from us does not mean that we no longer have a flesh or that we will be sanctified immediately. What it does mean is that the power of our flesh to enslave us from repenting and trusting in Christ is removed as well as its power to condemn us for our past and future sins and its power to keep us from eventually being conformed to fully look and behave like what we are. Nonetheless, though as Piper said, our flesh is not synonymous with our bodies, our present bodies that include our minds are inextricable from our flesh because we are still subject to the curse inherited from Adam in our bodies which the Lord's death and resurrection did not annul, but rather he rescued us from it so that the full wrath of God doesn't threaten us as it does this cursed world that along with our bodies is appointed for destruction. Because our flesh does not enslave us anymore, we will not suffer God's wrath in our bodies, but we will be given new bodies which includes a new mind that will be fully conformed to Christ's image and fully able and willing only to love and obey him, but until then we must wrestle and struggle against the remaining hold of the flesh to these current bodies that we now inhabit, relying on the grace and mercy of God to enable us to bear fruit and do his will and to forgive us when we fail and also holding tightly to the promise that he will bring to completion the good work he began which was initiated at the cross and will be consummated at the second coming of the Lord Jesus.
As grievous as is the truth that we will be sinning until our Lord comes, it is also glorious that we are forgiven, justified, adopted, and promised glorification and eternal life when the Lord comes, and up until that time God will be working as we are working and we will bear fruit, and that fruit will please God while our sins that do offend God in a real way will not be remembered and counted against us even while we are disciplines for them because in Christ they have been fully punished and hence removed from us as far as the east is from the west. We are new creatures being grown into prefect creatures through the hard, life-long process of sanctification that while it is not without our sin, it excels past it and will result in us overcoming it once and for all. Glory to God for this great, infallible work of salvation that he has wrought and that on my worst of Hell-deserving days, CANNOT be thwarted!

About 3 years ago I surrendered to Jesus with all my heart and took the leap of faith, out of necessity. I was dealing with addiction, suicidal ideation, pride, unbelief, anger, lust, deceit and confusion for many years. Jesus answered me in a way more real than anything I'd ever felt in my entire life. I felt his love, the power of the Holy Spirit, and I have felt his presence ever since. I seek a personal relationship with Christ every single day, in spite of hard times. I still struggle with sin on certain levels, but I do my best to battle, to discern, and to reconcile what I know in my heart(meaning what I know by Holy Spirit) with my earthly knowledge, habits, thought patterns, etc. Did Jesus die on the cross only for my past sins (sins I committed before I became born again), or did His crucifixion cover present and future sins I battle with as well? Essentially, if I battle sin the best I can for the rest of my life, without giving up, but still fail time and again, am I to be judged by God and potentially sent to Hell if I didn't do a good enough job?

He didn't die just for your sins but for The Sin Nature of humanity. He knew every sin you would commit in your life but still loved you enough to create you!!!!!! And He had already, at The Cross, paid for all those sins. There is no condemnation for those who are "In Christ", in other words, those who trust the Truth of The Good News of Jesus and have thrown in the towel on trying to prove to God how good they can be.

I’ve always had thoughts that linked to this question. I, even, have thoughts where I still think about if I am saved or if I’m being sincere to God when I’m repenting. It’s gotten to a point where I start praying at night, repenting of the sins that I did or did not know that I did, which can have me questioning. I know most of what’s a sin, but I still question if I done some sins that are considered “sinful” that I don’t even know about or have grasped fully on. I’ve thought about this almost everyday.
It’s like you’re trying to be like Christ, but somewhere in the everyday situation, there’s something that makes you slip into sin or make a sin that you did not know if it was a sin or not. It’s exhausting.
I believe that Christ was crucified. I believe that Christ died on the cross for our sins. I believe that He has risen from the dead three days after. I believe that he is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I believe that He is my Savior and his sacrifice was for the atonement of the sins of mine and many. I say this and believe heavily on this because I’m afraid the more someone slips (having feelings of frustration/anger/annoyance, slips of profanity, thoughts that can lead to sin, lustful thoughts, haughty eyes), the more their salvation slips. I know from a couple of Christians that that isn’t true, but I’m… just not sure. Every Christian has conflicting thoughts on the issues and consequences of sin, it has gotten to a point where you don’t want to fall into sin. But there’s always that point where there’s a sin that you did not know fully that would tamper with your salvation, and it would bug me. I don’t want to end up being one of those that is said by God, “Depart from Me, for I hardly knew you”. Like I said, I believe what God has done in my life; I just don’t want to go up to heaven, and find God, at His throne, going through the sins that I did not know about or that I did not repent from.
I’ve heard that when we’re saved and we repent from all the sins that we made, God will forget about them. But what gets me is Him saying that He will judge you at the Judgement Seat of Christ for what you did and what you have done in your life. I’ve been concerned and conflicted.

      I sympathise with your struggles.
We can't be expected to know every sin we commit, and God understands that.
When we are saved by faith, it isn't as if we lose salvation every time we sin. We are secure in salvation by faith. Faith is always accompanied by good deeds, but not by anything like perfection.
See in James 3:2 how James says:
'For we all stumble in many ways.'
Stumbling in this verse refers to committing unpremeditated sins of short duration. So James is clear that Christians can expect to commit sins of this kind often.
As far as appearing at the Judgment Seat of Christ is concerned, the Bible teaches that Christians will receive different rewards, depending on how well they have done the will of God in their lives. For example, in 1 Cor 3:14-15 we read:
'If anyone’s work that he has built survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, he will experience loss, but he himself will be saved -but only as through fire.'
Everyone who is a genuine believer in Jesus will be saved for all eternity, but Christians will experience different levels of reward.

When Christ judges us, it will be for what we have done to further the Kingdom with the resources and talents we were given. The most prominent examples of this are the parable about the three servants in Matthew 25:14-30 and 1 Corinthians 3:11-15. This is the judgement Paul is talking about when he discusses, "Finishing the race" and his fears of being disqualified. Did Paul worry that he would lose his salvation? No. Paul was concerned with doing the work that GOD called him to do, and receiving the rewards (We don't know what these will be, the closest description we have is a "crown", though we know it will involve Christ commending us for being a good servant) associated with doing good works for GOD. If you believe in the Gosple and let the LORD lead your life, trust in him, and repent when you mess up, then, as a believer, the only time you will face negative judgement will be if you failed to do all of what you were called to do, and the consequence of this will be Christ's displeasure and "Passing through the fire" (We don't know what this will involve, but it will be unpleasant.) , not the loss of your salvation.

Also, Christ will say "Depart from me, for I did not know you" and that is for those who are false teachers and those you do things for the wrong reasons/"put on a show". These people, like many of the pharisees, claim to know GOD, but don't actually have a serious relationship with him, nor do they care to. They only want to live for themselves. That's why when they say (paraphrasing) "Didn't I do all these amazing things in your name?!" Jesus will say he does not know them, because they didn't do it for HIM, they did it for themselves.

The thing is if accepting Jesus did not mean denying yourself, taking up your cross daily to follow Him (Luke 9:23), then you will struggle with sin and won't have any victory.
I see the place you are in and what you need to do. But the hurdle here is to get the conversation to actually getting saved. It is important that you answer God's call to repentance the way the Bible teaches. Otherwise, you will be trying to build on a faulty foundation. So, the question now is whether or not you are open to examine what was your square one for becoming a Christian. I have been deceived too, but I hope you can listen to what I am saying. The experience of salvation is not an experience of struggling with sin and staying trapped in it.
You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways is key. That opens the door to receiving his *forgiveness* for your past sins (2 Peter 1:9), *healing* (Luke 5:31-32), *freedom from sin/addictions* (John 8:34-36), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). That is salvation.
You must submit to God. That is essential:
      James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
      Hebrews 5:9
And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him*
Please stay in the word and obey it (James 1:22). The truth will set you free from all sin (John 8:31-32, 36).

For anyone still not satisfied: consider the 1st and 13th verses of this Romans 8 passage. So many learned people limit the power of Christ living in His Believers. We will never stop sinning in the sense of "missing the mark" (human error and mistakes), but if we "walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit", we can live without willful transgression (sin) active in our life. For a deeper Biblical dive into this, I would recommend beginning with Hebrews 10:26, 1 John 2:1-6, and 1 John 3:3-10.
Remember what Jesus said in St. John 4:14, "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
The born again experience and death of self is a very real, spiritual experience that can only come as a result of sincere prayer and repentance. Christ is not a disappointment; I can testify to this.
May the sincere find this and take courage; God bless you.

You nailed it with Romans 8:1 - 8:13. I was soaking those two passages in last night. Notice in v13 "if (you live) by the Spirit you put to death the deeds" (ESV). It does not say "if (you live) by the Spirit "AND" you put to death the deeds". That word "AND" does not exist. Death to the deeds is automatic if "Living by", "walking in", "putting on" are the 3 common allegories of being what you are empowered by the Holy Spirit. That is a new creation!

One cannot do anything to contribute to their Spiritual birth, just as we provide no contribution to our bodily birth. Being born again of God’s Spirit can only come about by the undeserved, unmerited, free gift of God’s grace in reconciling the elect to Himself. This is why Jesus said that no one could come to him unless the Father who sent him draws them first. The natural person without the Spirit cannot even comprehend the things of God, let alone accept them. The Gospel is nothing but foolishness to the natural person. Our faith itself is the free gift of God. If there’s anything we’re doing to contribute to our being born again, we would indeed have reason to boast. Its 100% God, 0% man, or it’s another gospel which is no gospel at all. Repentance, the Greek “Metanoia” simply means to change one’s mind; this is impossible without God’s initiating work of regeneration. The natural person without the Spirit is hostile towards God. Hence, repentance and prayer play no role in our being born again, but our being born again leads to repentance and prayer. Blessings

Your own comment just proved that you are a child of Satan who has no idea what scripture is even relating and that you do not possess the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. Yes, Jesus was the only person who was born without sin but this certainly does not mean that a true believer can never stop sinning.
Anyone who truly possesses the Holy Spirit possesses the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and they can overcome any obstacle, especially sin. Jesus did not sin nor did Jesus ever get sick and if you are someone who is truly being guided by His Holy Spirit then it would be impossible for you to sin or to get sick as well. So your comment clearly proves that you are a deceived child of Satan who does not believe that overcoming sin through the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ is possible.
“Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
      ‭‭Mark‬ ‭9:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.”
      ‭‭I Peter‬ ‭4:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.”
      ‭‭I John‬ ‭3:4-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:21-23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
So scripture clearly states that whoever sins does not know God so that is certainly you. Whoever sins is of the devil and that is also certainly you! Whoever abides in God and is born of God cannot sin and does not sin so this is a child of God like me! Scripture also relates that sin is lawlessness and Jesus clearly stated that anyone who practices lawlessness shall not enter the kingdom of God. Once again this applies to your sinful and wicked soul.
Anyone who believes that they can never stop sinning is simply a deceived soul who does not understand a thing in regards to scripture or the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind. So It is quite obvious that you do not understand that we are all born in sin and that God commanded us to overcome our sinful desires by living a holy and righteous life through His Holy Spirit. This is why we needed a savior to teach us how to stop sinning and this is exactly what Jesus, Peter, Paul and John are relating to us in scripture.
Many deceived souls cannot comprehend what scripture is relating and so they often twist verses like 1 John 1:8-10 to try and justify why their wicked souls still sin.
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”
      ‭‭I John‬ ‭1:8-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Since we are all born in sin and in ignorance of God’s word and truth John was relating how anyone who claims that they have never sinned at some time in their life is then deceived and they do not understand the truth that is being related in scripture. John then wrote that if we would repent and confess our sins to God then God is faithful to forgive us of our sins and He would cleanse us from living a sinful and unrighteousness life. John then related that anyone who believes they have never sinned in this lifetime is then calling God a liar. But nowhere is John ever relating that a believer will always continue to sin or that a believer could never overcome their sins as the children of the devil desire to believe.
Those who live in sin and belong to the devil often like to use Paul as their justification for their sinful life. These lost souls are so deceived that they cannot comprehend what Paul was relating in scripture and so they often twist the meanings of Romans 3:10, 3:23 and 7. They fail to realize that in Romans 7 Paul was relating how hard it was for him to stop sinning in his previous life since he was living under the law. Paul then related how he was freed from following his sinful flesh by truly knowing Christ and living through His Holy Spirit. These clueless souls are clearly overlooking how Paul related that he had died to sin and that he was no longer a slave to sin in Romans 6 and they also overlook how Paul related that if you continue to live by your sinful flesh instead of living through the Spirit then you will certainly die in Romans 8. Now in regards to Romans 3:10 Paul is simply relating that none of us are righteous since we are all born in sin and this is why we needed a savior to teach us how to stop sinning. Romans 3:23 is actually stating the same exact thing since it is relating how we are all born in sin and so we all fall short of the glory of God.
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”
      ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:5-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.”
      ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:14-16‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬
Sometimes the deceived children of the devil will even use Romans 6:23 to justify why they sin and they clearly have no idea that this scripture is relating that if you sin then you will eternally die, hence “the wages of sin is death.” Some will even haphazardly try to use 1 John 2:1-2 to try and justify why they still sin.
“My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.”
      ‭‭I John‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
In this above scripture John is simply relating that because we all will sin that Jesus is the atonement for our sins and John certainly is not relating that we can never stop sinning.
Nowhere are any of these scriptures ever relating that a believer can never stop sinning or that we will always continue to sin. Anyone who continues to sin certainly does not understand what Jesus related in Matthew 5 and 18. Jesus made it very clear that it was better for us to live a life in this world with a maimed body that did not sin then it would be to possess a complete body that still sinned since the person who sinned would then be cast into the hell fire.
“If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.”
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:29-30‬ ‭NKJV‬
“If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.”
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:8-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
So this is the difference between a believer who is a Christian and a believer who is deceived. A deceived believer thinks that they will always sin and they will always have sickness in their life while a true Christian knows they can never sin nor can they ever get sick since they are living their life exactly “like Christ” through His Holy Spirit.
So it is quite evident and quite clear that you are just a deceived believer who fell for the devil’s lies and that is why you reason the way that you do. Your very own words have proven that you do not possess the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ and you are just a deceived and unbelieving child of Satan whose sinful soul belongs to the devil and you certainly do not belong to God.

What does it mean to be crucified? When Jesus was on the cross being Crucified, he was suffering and feeling excruciating pain. He even felt extremely lonely, for He said, "Father why have you forsaken me!" He had to endure the loneliness, the excruciating pain and suffering until He was dead? He says to us that we must also take up our cross and DENY ourselves and follow him. And when we really decide in our hearts to follow him and allow ourselves to be crucified with him, we will know that we are being crucified, when we experence the pain and suffering of feeling the withdrawals after giving up cigeretts, drugs and alcohol. We will know that we are being crucified when we feel the extreme loneliness of not being able to have sex with someone you are not married to. You know that you are being crucified when you no longer allow your flesh to be gratified by watching porn all night, and masturbating. When you are being crucified, from all of your sinful desires, and from all of your lustful cravings, your flesh will suffer on that cross. But you must not come down from that cross to take a cigerette break. You must not come down from that cross to go to the liquor store to buy liquor. You must not come down from that cross to have sex with someone that you are NOT married to. You must not come down from that cross to watch porn and masturbate. But you must stay on that cross and endure the sufferenting until you are DEAD. (DEAD to all of your sinful desires, and DEAD to all of your lustful cravings.) Not to disagree entirely but I think Piper has missed a few points. 1) Crucifixion is a slow death. For the passages that refer to us as crucified (rather than dead) it may represent the fact that the process is ongoing and not yet over. For various reasons (beyond the scope of this comment) God has not arranged for us to be perfect in heaven the minute we believed. 2) The 1 Cor 5 leaven reference seems in context to be about the local church putting out an offender for the protection of the church; leaven being prone to spread and you don't want other people saying I'm going to [blank] because he did and nobody was that bothered.

It doesn't happen like "magic" We need to take time to feed on the Word, asking the Holy Spirit to teach us, to open our spiritual eyes, ears, to give us understanding, and then obey and apply what we read. Just hearing/reading is not enough. We must do it. Read Mathew 16:24 we are to deny ourselves (don't do what we want), carry our cross, and we are to crucify our independent, selfish desires and ideas DAILY! these are just metaphors... They simply mean: don't sin. What makes us stop sinning is growing in faith... faith that sin is always the worst possible choice, faith that God will not let you be tempted above your capacities and faith that the reward you'll get from obedience is extremely better than the sin. All of that you find in the bible

Jesus says, "deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow me" (Luke 9:23). How are you going to answer, "I will do that Lord when the consummation of all things arrives." You are complicating the Gospel and not acting like Jesus' burden is light. It is light indeed and if you agree, you will simply obey Him out of love. His commandments are not burdensome.
      1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
Same idea of his burden being light. Then if you wholeheartedly want to obey Him, you will. It's not a hard thing when your heart is in it. God knows. Keeping God's commandments is the opposite of being lawless or sinning. Again, how can you make any argument in favor of ongoing sin when you agree that Jesus' burden is light?
You must submit to God. That is essential:
      James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
      Hebrews 5:9
And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him*
Nothing says on the way to be perfected you have to remain a sinning rebel before God, so his enemy basically. That's precisely the kind of life Jesus saved from. If the Son sets you free you shall be free indeed (John 8:36). That's directly connected to sinning because the opposite of that is being a slave of sin and committing sin because of that (John 8:34). And then one is not even on the way to any perfection or immortality. It start with freedom from sin.

To answer your question, “heart” is not the literal blood-pumping organ; it’s referring to your feelings instead. I can remember one summer, when I was a college student, I worked at a Wal-Mart in Oklahoma. I hadn’t been to church in years, but the one Sunday I worked there, I started to feel different. I began to feel uneasy that I was selling makeup instead of being in church that day. I also began to remember all the wrong things that I had done, and began to feel uneasy about what I had done. It took some time, but I accepted Jesus the following January. Long story short, Jesus convicted me emotionally of my sins and consequential separation from Him.
Now the hard part: to answer your second question, Jesus does NOT send anybody to hell. Neither does any other person. A person chooses hell when they deliberately reject Jesus (the only One that can save them from such a fate) for the rest of their lives.

Are you denying yourself from gratifying the cravings/desires of the flesh, that is, anything God would not lead you to, you refuse to go that way in obedience to God? If so, that is how you die with Jesus. You become _dead to sin_ (Romans 6:2, Romans 6:11, 1 Peter 2:24) in order to live for God.
      Galatians 5:24
And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
That is the "death" with Christ. Getting baptized in water is what you will do in obedience to God as that is a command (Acts 2:38), but the water itself does not cause you to die with Christ.

  • @MrPatdeeee
    @MrPatdeeee 2 года назад +1

"My Flesh Was Crucified - So Why Do I Still Sin?"
Kind Sir...I believe the answer is (I could be wrong)...
When Jesus (who IS God Almighty) created His angels before Creation; He chose one (named Lucifer) to be the entire head; of all the 800 million angels. Sadly, Lucifer became instantly jealous and envious of Jesus (the word "Michael" for Jesus; is a "euphemism"; to help explain Heavenly logical vs earthly logical; after the whole creation has been fulfilled; and in our bibles.) And there was a Spiritual war in Heaven...
Thus, Jesus kicked Lucifer and his 200 million "fallen" angels out of Heaven; and they finally settled on earth after it was created. And of course, the first sin to ever have happened is Eve's; who listened to Lucifer; rather than listening to Adam (as ALL wives SHOULD do! But they rarely do.). Worse: she seduced Adam to sin also. So she had a double "Abominable Sin's Punishment". SAD but very true.
As Jesus' wrath's; punished lucifer and his 'echoes"; by putting them into an "Abyss"; until the Great Tribulation comes at the END of the world. Then Jesus' wrath punished Adam harshly for all men's life. Then He punished Eve the most "harshly of pains"; and it would last to the end of he world; for ALL women. Sad but true...because she still listens to satan vs her husband. Please read your bibles. Genesis 3:1-19
However, Lucifer was still the most beautiful, the most wisdom and the most powerful entity; there would ever be; except Jesus' Quintessential Power.
Thus, Lucifer and his echoes have the power to force ANY one to sin constantly; UNLESS the person prays sincerely to Jesus; asking Him to remove satan's temptational "desires". For without that; EVERY person will sin, non stop, every day. Sad but true. Please read Mathew 6:13!
Since Jesus gave all mortals "Free-Will"; and then He steps aside and lets us do any thing we want to; His 'hopes' is: that we will come to Him; and NOT listen to satan. Sadly, that has never happened totally. For ONLY the most "consecrated" Born Again's; who pray every day, including "during" the day; will ever sin less. Sad, but very true.
    End of Story...
...In any case kind Sir and Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

    • @yestothetruth
      @yestothetruth Год назад

*IF* my flesh was crucified - why do I still sin? That's a better way to ask the question in order to get to the bottom of the problems, whatever they may be. Even Romans 6:8 says "IF we have died with Christ..." The argument is not with "BECAUSE we have died with Christ..." as this message says (video @ 12:07). There is nothing paradoxical in what the scriptures teach as this message suggests (video @ 12:29).

Just One or two question ?
For whom did God the word became the man Jesus ? Is it for God or for men? For whom was Jesus living when he was on earth? Is it for us or for God ? For whom did Jesus live righteous for God or for us? For whom did Jesus kept the law or do all good works , for God or for us? And Do Jesus need to do good works and keep the law for God and for him self as man? Because if he dont do it ,he will not glorify God and he will sin and die. So Jesus was living for God and for him self . when he becomes for God and for himself ,then he went to the cross to be for us !
So on the cross , he bear our sins and die for it , for the wages of sin is death. When Christ dies for our sins, we become sinless like adam before fall. He rise for our righteousness, so we became righteous ,like adam was created in first hand.
Adam was created by God sinless and righteous , that is the righteousness of God only . before fall adam not work any work ,to justify himself. He dont kept any law to justify himself. But only God.
So on the cross when Christ dead for us , our sins was canceled (inherited Adams sin and our sin law breaking) ,when he raised for our justification, we are created just as adam was created just or righteous. He turns us to our original identity ,state ,position.
Now Whose righteousness was adams righteousness when he was created in the first before he fall? That is God's righteousness. And whose righteousness is our righteousness when we are raised with Jesus ,created in Jesus? Its Gods righteousness. It seems to me , not Jesus's righteousness or Jesus's keeping the law. But God's righteousness includes keeping the law also. Believe in Jesus only.
Here , when God created adam righteous, he don't count him as law keeper. God created him right with him ,with out adams keeping law. When God created us right with him in Christ , its not counting as law keeper. Its creating right with out keeping the law ,like adam in the first time. We are in Christ ,God canceled our sins by christs death and made us right by Christ's resurrection. So the base for forgiveness is death of Jesus and the base for righteousness is resurrection of Jesus?how they become bases? Wages of sin is death ,sinners to be free from death ,death must be paid. Then when he dies so we no need to die. He made us alive ,passed from death to life. He raised for our justification , he was declared righteous ,that we may be righteous.we are Counted as he and became as he .
Bible tells us ,God's righteousness imputed to us , why people want to bring Christs righteousness , of keeping the law , only? Was christ living, or keeping the law for us or for God or for him.
As before fall, adam was created righteous by God ,Christ is born righteous by God. They both have righteousness of God. Adam didn't kept the righteousness of God ,Christ did kept the righteousness of God. Adam not live as he was created, christ lived as he is born ,Adam live fake ,Christ live original ,with any addition. So even Christs righteousness is Gods righteousness. As God born him right ,he lived as his identity , not bringing identity by works. And we wheb we are created in Christ ,God made us right with him , as adam was created right, with out any reference of keeping the law. The creation returns to its original form ,recreated to the firat ,reconciled as the first ,get peace with God. Christ's righteousness of God's ? And what does it mean to be right with God originally? Is it to honor respect worth cost him ,become a lively testimony for his glory?
Thanks for serving us for Christs sake !

God did give and Eve a law. It was the 10 commandments. When He told them not to eat of the forbidden tree, it was a law and a commandment that was not to be broken. And within that 1 law there were 10 Commandments. They broke his 1 law which contained His 10 commandments. Look at the 10 commandments one by one and see if you can see each of the 10 commandments that they broke. Some of them will be hard for you to see like "Thou shalt not commit adultery. The word Adultery means to be UNFAITHFUL. When Adam and Eve had a Spiritual encounter with the devil, they were UNFAITHFUL to the Almighty Creator. Another one that is diffulcult to see is "Thou shalt keep the Sabbath day." They were created on the 6 day (Friday morning) when the sun set on Friday evening, it was the 7th day (Satturday) The Sabbath. They were supposed to meet with the Almighty creator on the Sabbath, as soon as the sun set on that Friday evening. They broke that commandment when they did not show up on that Sabbath to meet with their creator. And when they broke that Commandment, of not keeping the Sabbeth by fellowshipping with thei creator, The Almighty Creator Yehovah Elohym cried out, "ADAM WHERE ARE YOU!!!!" I helped you see a few of the commandments which were the laws that they broke. See if you can see all 10 of the laws or commandments that they broke. If you truly seek, The Lord will reveal the rest of them to you.

(DEAD to all of your sinful desires, and DEAD to all of your lustful cravings.) And that is what the Bible means when it says to us, CRUCIFY YOUR FLESH. And that is what it means TO BE CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST.

The question was not answered so I will answer it. Sin is always with you your body (flesh) is sin and you will always have to fight it until you shed it into your spiritual body that is without sin. The Bible is based on a belief system or in theory. If you believe in it then it is true and really to the beliver to everyone else it's theory.

The Bible mentions freedom from sin:
      John 8:34-36
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, *whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.* 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore *if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.*
Being set free from bondage to sin is not theory.
And what should be the result of crucifying the flesh with its passions and desires (Galatians 5:24)? If that has happened, then sin will not continue. Both you and this message explain sinning like it's normal for someone whose flesh was crucified with Christ indeed (Romans 6:6-7). The Bible teaches differently.

This video sends out very mixed messages and not ones I agree with, according to my own understanding.
When you are born again you are saved entirely. You are righteous by status. That means that your sins past, present and future are forgotten. When you marry, you become one flesh. It is the same sort of thing.
This is not the message that John Piper is giving here. He is using all the right words about being born again = 'rightous by status' at the point of salvation, but then he goes onto say that your new creature status as righteous must be acted out in reality, making the 'by status' bit a nonsense. What he really means is that you must be righteous and holy first before you are saved. Therefore, there is no difference between being righteous by status and righteous per se. So until you become righteous per se, he implies (by omission of mentioning it at all) you are still not saved or you become unsaved or never were saved or whatever term they want to use.
That is not what 'righteous by status' actually means. That is what Christ did on the cross. Pay for our sins in full. It is finished. His death did not imply a necessary but insufficient step toward salvation for all those who follow him. Yet that is the Calvinists' message.
Make no mistake about it : Calvinism is 'try or fry' works based salvation and trying to dilute that message by claiming that the elect are automatically saved but that your fruits of the spirit are proof of your salvation is just a wordy way of disguising what they really mean : that as a new creature, your past sins are forgotten but any new sins you commit have to be crushed underfoot in your own strength before your heaven bound entry ticket is provided. They try and get around this by saying that God works within you supernaturally, so all of your present and future sin - as a saved Christian - is the work of the Holy Spirit. If that were the case, there would be no need for questions like this posed to Pastor John, and there would be no news reports by high level famous Pastors like John MacArthur evidenced at being sinful by default of flouting what he bible states about a husband's love for a wife. Nor would Paul Washer claim in a video that being Christian is about discipline, self control and effort etc. That doesn't sound very supernatural to me. It sounds precisely what it is: works based salvation that you earn by effort and striving and if you don't succeed your lack of fruit (and how much is ever enough?) you weren't really Christian to begin with.
This gives a believer no assurance of salvation, whatsoever. It is a hideous distortion of the true good news of Christ. How can you witness effectively when you are laden down with that burden? Basically you can't. Add to that your true belief that most of those you talk to are automatically non-elect, makes any witness of the Good News a deceiver and a liar as well as someone who is unsure of themselves and how they stand with God. That is Good News for the Athiest, I think!!
That is NOT the message of the Gospel. The message of the Gospel is clear - based on the turn or burn principle: you are saved by trusing and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. That is it. TRUST AND BELIEVE. When you are saved you are out of Adam (repentance is granted) That means that all of your sins (the ones you know about, intended, made aware of, not aware of) are forgotten and will not be part of judgement. They are forever placed in the 'sin bin' of Adam from which you repented when you gave your life to the Lord. That was the circumcision part - making you clean.
Discipleship of a Saved Christian: From that point on, your walk with God and any repentence of your sins which can only really ever be the ones you are aware of or intended to commit (not all of them, which they would have to be if salvation was attached to this new repentance), is confined to your walk with the Lord - which is Lordship discipleship (not Lordship salvation) . So you offer up your sins you grieve over with godly sorry, just by way of thanks and as an act of worship for what he paid for on the cross for you. In other words - you died to sin entirely (state of Adam) and those newer sins are also forgotten but you give them up to the Lord anyway and if you master them - fine, but if you don't that has no bearing on your salvation at all - because they are forgotten. So there is no 'try or fry' message attached. Just 'try' to 'comply'. So whilst justified and sanctified by status, God still sanctifies you supernaturally to true holiness, but that has nothing to do with you or your efforts to overcome sin in your own strength. It is a supernatural work of God. You are righteous and sanctified by status anyway and your efforts - except the giving up sins to prayer - as proof of your sincerity to walk the walk with God - is all you need to do. Therefore you don't need to master or overcome anything. Your burden is light, your yoke is easy. That is the true gospel message and being a disciple of Christ is not easy believism. The only 'try or fry' sins that are attached to your salvation are those that would render your walk with the Lord a mockery: denying Christ, worshipping other idols by putting God second, blaspheming the Holy Spirit (an unforgiveable sin). All other sins you commit as a new creature are not only forgiveable, they have already been forgiven. There is no such thing as 'saving faith'. There is only such a thing as 'faith' followed by discipleship. to Calvinists 'faith, salvation and discipleship' are all one and the same.
Calvinists dilute the work of the cross whilst stating the opposite when cornered. Calvinism is a heretical cult that is basically a reworking of Roman Catholicism where you earn your salvation by way of thanks for what God did on the cross which, according to them, the righteous by status merely paved the way for you to be righteous by actions to remove all sin from your life (they call saving faith) to purify yourself, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to match a righteousness status you had as part of the elect, which means nothing in practice when you have no idea if you are elect rather than non-elect, except by the removal of all sin in your life. That means that you won't know if you are saved until you are saved. The trust and belief part is incremental to Calvinists. That's why they say that 'fruits are evidence of your salvation (not evidence of your discipleship, which is what they should say).
Calvinism is a complete denial of the atonement and distortion of the Gospel message. It is Lordship salvation. It renders what Christ did on the cross completely meaningless. Christ's last words he uttered on the cross was 'IT IS FINISHED'. Furthermore, the thief on the cross beside him was also saved. Did he have time to bear fruit? No.

Well, it all boils down to faith. Either you except God's word or man's word. And it's not just words, it's God breathed: 2 Timothy 3:16-17---------
''All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.''
Nature itself testifies to a creator: Romans 1:20---------
''For from the creation of the world the invisible things of Him are clearly seen, being understood through the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.''
It's not hard to be saved, like John 3:16 and Romans 10:9 say (and many others), to be saved one must have faith in Jesus Christ, who paid for all our sins in full at the cross. He died for you and me, he went through intense suffering and spilled his perfect, sinless blood for the forgiveness of everyones sins. I encourage you to look up those two latter verses (Jhn 3:16 and Rmns 1:20)😀

In our fallen, sinful state, we do often lie and I'm sure you have (I too am not innocent). Now God's word says, all who break his moral law (10 commandements) are to be sentenced to death, for : ''the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.''
Jesus the son of God, came to Earth to save us from sin, see, all of us have broken God's commandments, so by default, declared by God's perfect righteousness and justice, are deserving of death. But Jesus died, suffered and spilled his blood on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.

You still sin because you're still in this world. This world was created to give a place for the man that sinned to live 1000 years before getting restored.
It's sort of a life sentence.
There are also both external and internal factors that make one to sin, but there's judgment already on these- may be men or situations or entities Matthew 18:2-9; Proverbs 28:10.
Jesus Christ already took care of all sins:
The agony of Jesus Christ came by because He suddenly was left by His Father, and only now has angels to minister to Him, because God cannot have anything to do with sin, and Jesus Christ was about to carry the sin of the whole world in His flesh- as a man, who hitherto was sinless.
The scenario that was prepared for Him was to be unjustly accused by falling into the trap set up by the chief priest, scribes, and the elders, using the naked young man in Mark 14:51.
That was why He implored His desciples to watch, but they dozed off instead, and the naked young man was able to get to him to entrap him, and He was supposedly caught in flagrante delicto
Jesus Christ came and died for sins and sinners. Mark chapters 14-16; Isaiah 53 ( Research what is meant by " He was bruised...He was broken..., and you will understand the extent of what He went through for His alledged crime!)
To actually understand who the runner in Mark 14, verse 51...is, one has to take the whole chapter into consideration.
    1) Jesus had just gotten done with the last supper. He had just declared that one of His own would be betraying Him.
What does the word "betray" mean?
    2) He had just left in the middle of the night to go to the Mount of Olives, and went alone further with 3 of His desciples- to pray, and it is written that He began to be " sore amazed...and very heavy".
    What could trouble His soul to such an extent as to have to even ask His desciples to - a, sit here - close to Him, while He prays;
b, letting them know the extent of and reason for the sorrow in his SOUL!, and to still " tarry and watch"
c, what could have made Him plead with His Father to try and take away this cup - filled with wrath of God, especially for the impending trap that has been prepared for Him?,
d, why was it important for Him that His desciples "watch and pray?"And what could be so bad to make His and their flesh weak? Verses 32-38?
Why would there have to be present, tge priests, scribes, elders, and a great multitude? Verse 43?
What must they witness that would be so outrageous and abominable, that would demand immediate arrest and subsequent insult, maltreatment of Jesus Christ, that even His desciples wouldn't want to be associated with him?
And suddenly, there appeared a "certain naked young man, simply clad with a linen cloth, left and fled naked?
What was his role in the setup of Jesus Christ, in a remote place, in the middle of the night?
What did they want to show concerning Jesus Christ?
Why would even their witnesses not agree? Wasn't it because they didn't understand the depth of their satanic mind?
This man claimed to be the Son of God, and the descendant of King David, and was now found in a blatantly staged compromising situation?
Verse 61: Why was it important for them to ask about His status as " the Christ, the Son of the Most BLESSED?""" Implying he was cursed?
Funny, that was the only question He answered because it was the truth! The Truth they were not willing to accept, instead smeared His reputation for the who world to see, since Jerusalem was teeming with people from all over for the feast of passover!
The most admirable and regal thing about this is that Jesus Christ kept quiet, even when they condemned Him to death according to Leviticus 20:13, with all the false witnesses to corroborate their false accusations of blasphemous conduct and speech, spitting on and making fun of Him verses 55-65!
Wow! He actually preferred to be condemned to death, rather than say anything that would condemn even the man that fled naked from the scene! He would have made them look for him and arrest him for lewd conduct and immoral act.
But, didn't Jesus Christ come to seek and save the lost - even those who are called immoral and who commit abomination? This just proved how Jesus Christ paid for the punishment of every one, especially those who the scriptures condemned as committing abomination, they were the most beneficial of His condemnation and subsequent punishment and eventual cursed death on the cross of Calvary. Anyone who still tramples on His shed blood, after seeing what He did for them, by continuing in their pernicious ways, would have no more plea for sin.
They will be looking forward to a fiery judgment on that day, but God will be just and Righteous in judgment!
He put the most needful for the last, He never overlooked anyone, no matter who they are or the nature of their sins, He paid for them all!
Thus, the naked man clad with linen cloth in verses 51 and 52 was the bait, set up to implicate Jesus Christ and anyone associated with Him. I believe that Judas was blindsided with the appearance of this young man, and this made him regret ever colluding with these people, because that wasn't part of the agreement, and this got him to commit suicide!Let us remember that these people will do anything in order to get their way. They actually went to catch a woman committing adultery in the very act, John 8: 3-11 so that they can have something to trap Jesus. They have been looking for ways to get rid of Him, and this naked young guy was it! That would be the reason why Peter vehemently denying knowing Jesus Christ 3 times, and Jesus Christ was left alone to finish the work of salvation of the soul of man by paying the ultimate wages of sin: cursed death on the cross! He was buried, and He rose again from the dead on the 3rd day. So all who believe in Him should have justification from sin and would be imputed with the righteousness of God, by grace through faith in His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection, and will have everlasting life 1 Corinthians 15:51-58, when He presents them faultless before the presence of God the Father, with exceeding joy! Jude 24.
Whosoever does not believe and abide till the end, Matthew 24:13, when He returns to take up all His purchased possession, 1Thesalonians 4:13-18, will be condemned to everlasting fire Isaiah 66:24.
    We all get to make informed decisions, so God will be righteous and just when He judges, and every mouth will be stopped on that day! Romans 3:19;
Acts 17:31; Psalm 96:13; Isaiah 11:4; Psalm 51:4.7!I believe that Judas was blindsided with the appearance of this young man, and this made him regret ever colluding with these people, because that wasn't part of the agreement. Let us remember that these people will do anything in order to get their way. They actually went to catch a woman committing adultery in the very act, John 8: 3-11 so that they can have something to trap Jesus. They have been looking for ways to get rid of Him, and this naked young guy was it! This was the first sin committed in the garden of Eden, and dealt with by the shedding of the blood of the sinless Lamb of God; and this was the last sin dealt with in the garden of Gethsemane that was dealt with by the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ- the Lamb of God, promised from the very beginning Genesis 22:8, for the atonement for and the propitiation of the sins that came out of the original sin. "It is finished," indeed! John 19:30!
Despite all their accusations, Jesus Christ remained silent. He wouldn't justify Himself. He wouldn't excuse Himself. He wouldn't accuse the planted naked young man. He knew that He had to drink the cup! Even though He was without blame, without sin, without any faults!
For this reason, He left His glory and put on the flesh of sin to condemn sin in His flesh, thereby satisfying God's need for justice and eventual judgment - cursed death on the cross. It was already decided by both God the Father and God the Son- who would be left alone when He would eventually submit His Spirit as well, to the Father- the Spirit that quickened the soul of man in the beginning Genesis 2:7, because sin must be paid for in the flesh! Mark 14:36; Luke 23:46, believing that He will receive it again, as decided Psalm 31:3-5. It is already written! It must be fulfilled! For God had made Him to be sin for us - who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
He died, was buried, but He rose again from the dead triumphantly, on the third day! With His glorious body of flesh and bones, just like the first Adam Genesis 2:23; Luke 24:39; as will all Believers - members of His body would become as He is 1John 3:2; Ephesians 5:30, when He returns to redeem His purchased possession!
He ascended into heaven, He sprinkled the blood of His victory on the mercy Seat, and sat down at the right hand of God, the Father, waiting for all His enemies to become footstool for His feet!!!
There is nothing to add. Nothing can be added to it!
All attempts of man to look for other ways are simply futile!
    What a Great Savior!
Who else can compare among all the gods! He is glorious in Holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders! Amen!

You need to be able to relate to what this scripture says:
      1 John 3:6
Whoever abides in Him [Jesus] *does not sin.* Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

@yestothetruth Absolutely, but they still need to consciously kill the flesh daily!
1 John 3 as well, but they still need to decide to abide in this Truth John chapters 10-17, daily asking for the infilling and leading of the Holy Spirit, because until that day, like Noah was in the ark for 7 days with the door shut, but no rain whatsoever. If he decides to go out of the ark, he could still open the door from the inside, but will never be able to come back into the ark.
Matthew 24:13. That's why Believers encourage one another until He returns to redeem His purchased possession as He promised!

I would say that's true to a certain extent but at the same time some Christians are accused of "worshiping" Trump by simply sticking up for him, main stream media spews a significant amount of lies about Trump and when people expose those lies we get falsely labeled " white supremacist" or "misogynist". I appreciate Trump as a "King Cyrus" type from the OT. An apparatus of God

    The Gospel:
    Plain and
    Simple
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your
minds should be corrupted from the simplicity
that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3
Ask someone today if they are saved and
you will most likely hear responses like these:
“I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I
have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been
baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good
and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually
knows the gospel that saves them. These use￾less phrases don’t describe a thing about what
the gospel is and has left a devastating effect
of people not knowing what it is that they are
saved from nor how they are saved; which
leaves a more serious effect of people ques￾tioning their salvation.
Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salva￾tion that is in Christ with vague church
sounding phrases that do not communicate
anything. But rather present God’s word with
clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel:
    plain and simple.
Sin was passed upon all men by one man
Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin
(Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of
condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of
this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good
works one might do we are still found sinners
in the sight of our Creator God. And all un￾righteousness and those who follow get in￾dignation and wrath. We cannot be found
righteous for by God’s law we are found sin￾ners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even
one law we are found guilty.
It is for this reason of not being able to
create our own righteousness and being born
in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus
3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in
the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross
2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath
and judgement that was intended for us sin￾ners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial,
and resurrection on our behalf that we are
able to have peace with God and forgiveness
of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good
news is unto all but only those that believe in
it are made righteous in Christ (Romans
    3:22).
It is then after we have heard this good
news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit
and we are now part of Christ’s body the
    church (Eph 1:13)
There is nothing that we need to do, no
good works that are required, and no bad
works that can separate us from our new po￾sition in Christ (Romans 8:35-39).
Faith and belief in this information from
    God’s word is the gospel.
The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your
heart. The gospel is not making him lord of
your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not
    being baptized with water.
So next time someone asks you if you are
saved. Give them the clear assured answer
“Yes! And let me tell you why!”
