I am just stunned, how amazingly Jesus put this in front of my eyes, just when I was struggling so hard with my sins and His dissapproval and therefore our damaged relationship.. He is so good. I am not able to find proper words for His goodness. I have not deserved a King like Him who cares so deeply that He even uses an internet platform to show me truth. The truth of how He really thinks of me.

Rita, I have just read your text. I will pray for you shortly. I am grieved by the response you received from Tessa Logan. I know that you are praying for the Lord's help, and I want you to know that we all struggle with something; and if we are not struggling at the moment it is because of God's grace "so no one should boast". St. Paul more than once referred to the mystery of God's will, and Paul succinctly boiled it down to (I paraphrase) "all of us are going to disobey God so none of us can think well of ourselves; and then He will show us his Mercy in the righteousness of Jesus Christ." It is not the easiest thing to put all your faith/trust in a Person, but that is what we are asked to do. I pray for that kind of faith every day. Amen.

Jesus knew all my past, present and future sins before I was born and yet still died for me. Sanctification is the worst thing a true believer has to go through because we want to get rid of sin once for all....but maybe that would make us proud? All glory HAS to go to Jesus because NOTHING good comes out of us. Desperately ask Him to open your eyes to a sin that is slowly destroying your life without you knowing it and once He does, fight !! I asked God out loud "God, are you ever angry at me?" and to my surprise he responded. Not audibly but to my mind. He said, "Never, my son." I know it sounds weird but it happened to me.
It was in a time of anguish over my own sin and confusion over how God viewed me a few years ago.
When he spoke I did notice a few things about the interaction.
First, the only reason I knew who was "speaking" to my mind was because He let me know who he was. It brought to mind the verse saying "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." -John 10:27
Second, was the shear authority of his being. He had/has ALL THE AUTHORITY. I was in awe of Him but also not terrified at the time, despite His absolute authority. I don't know if it's because He didn't allow me feel fear or because I knew who He was, that I didn't feel fear but either way I just felt awe and respect and honor for Him.
Thirdly, I remember that I could tell he smiled/was happy with me after he said "Never, my son."
This might not be well received if you believe God doesn't speak to people anymore but it was my experience.
TBH I still have A LOT of trouble reconciling the presence of my own sin with this experience but I try to hold onto this experience, when I'm in doubt and discouraged over my own salvation.

      YES YES MY BROTHER!!!
This is a method God speaks to us! Develop an internal dialogue with the heavenly Father, who loves you unconditionally.
I must inform you to tighten your relationship with the Lord more. Familiarize and learn scripture by applying your heart to it as proverbs tells us. Only then, will the Holy Spirit have more authority over terrain in your mind to guide you.
Renew your mind continually with scripture. Equip it more like food, don’t quench it. Eventually, prayer will seem like a conversation between you and God. Its completely possible!!!

Tessa Logan This is true of course! The fleshed out life of a Christian is figuring out how best to use our whole lives to honor and love God and people the most. The best person to mimic would of course be Jesus who didn’t live for himself or selfish pleasure but for the glory of the father. Simplifying the commands doesn’t remove all need for Christian but focuses it on the why of what we do which is to honor God.

However God's love is so much greater than anybody on earth possibly could. He MADE the world and He MADE US and He should be more upset because we are His creation and masterpiece.

    • @mercy_faith_
      @mercy_faith_ 4 года назад +7

The way I think about it is by remembering that he’s not just angry in the Old Testament, he’s grieved. When one of my friends ticks me off I get angry. But it’s not the same kind of anger that I get when I see one of my friends making choices that I know is going to get them hurt. When I warn them and they continue to go down that bad path. It makes me angry, but I feel more grieved than I do angry... I’m not angry at them, I’m angry at the sin. I think this is similar to how God sees it. After all, He doesn’t define us by our sin. We may live in sin, but it doesn’t define us.

    God is ALWAYS justified.
When He asks not to do certain things, it’s not because He wants is to miss out on ‘fun’.
It’s because He knows the consequences of certain behaviours/actions.
Isn’t it then logical to be disappointed or angry when we do what we know we shouldn’t.
We are all rebellious children who want to do what we want.
It’s like when your parents warn you about certain things because they have more knowledge and understanding and can see what may happen..but we think we know it all..
then we wake up one day and realize all the lost chances in life, the mistakes that happened, the things that went wrong.. we could have avoided them if we had just listened!!!
God is our Eternal and Holy Father. He gave us the gift of free choice, even knowing that certain things could harm us.. but those were the choices we made!
I still continuously fall in certain things, but in other things I have changed my self ..only because of His Holy Spirit which gave me strength.
    Which has filled my life.
I owe ALL the good things to God, my life is a Testimony to His Mercy, His love, His Grace, His blessings, His unconditional love, His awesomeness!

I don't have a natural father who was anything but kind, strong, gracious, patient, loving, and shows and communicates that love. Yet, I have that picture of God from what I can only call my experience with Him. He seems to be distant, though by faith, I believe he's close. He seems disappointed and frustrated with me, though by faith, I don't believe that matches his nature toward me. He seems unwilling to show me love and affection outside of the cross (which is a beautiful transcendent reality), though by faith, I believe he's merciful and loving. It seems to me, we need to be considering at least as much that feelings aren't trustworthy or even worthy of being sought in relationship with God. It's faith alone, right, that is evidence of the reality of all these things he's bought for us in Christ? And many of the verses strongly suggest that such experiences of God's delight are reserved for heaven. Either that, or in my depression, I'm not able to experience the emotion that comes along at times with being loved by God, or I'm not saved and his wrath does rest on me.

It seems that Satan got me through my own intellect (Proverbs 3.5-6) and eventually, a panic of the fear of death at the final possible moment which led me to have my ONCE-ATONED blood infused with the toxic lanthanide metal GADolinium (for sake of "knowledge of good and evil" via dynamic MRA) which was most likely spiked with something highly evil by a person / persons certifiably angry at me for at least one reason. This happened on Dec. 19, 2022, a Monday and the nameday of ISAAC in Finland. The Lord tried to warn me with several strange encounters (such as a CROWN left lying on a chair, and a clear shout "DON'T APPROACH"!) on that day as well as BEFORE, but I was in such a state due to chronic insomnia and pulsatile tinnitus etc. that I was in a half-enchanted hypnotic state and hence kept slanting forward like a bull led to the slaughter, albeit at the very end I bumped into such "loud" warnings that I began to 'fight the pre-investment flow', but failed!! Afterwards I received BAD toxicity symptoms in my nose & mouth and this entire year so far has been CHOCK FULL of repeating frightening encounters & bad omens (every day, no matter where I go & even in every MASS in front of me, I bump into certain kind over and over again!) which tell me that I've either lost my soul or half-accidentally struck a deal with either death or the devil (or both). My father has recently started to treat me like my touch is extremely filthy and he tells me my nearness gives him the creeps and causes heart symptoms in him!! Hence it is obvious that I've angered God and I'm being rooted out from God's purpose and my former place in creation á la Mark. 8.35 - 36. I was also pre-warned by the appearing of the number 666 on my own social media account & healthcare receipt. *PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!!* My name is Sami Kristian and I'm from Finland.

How to test if you are in the faith and are really saved?
      2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
From this verse we know that we can certainly know if we are saved.
But how can you know if you are really saved? The scriptures clearly say:
      James 2:10-11 KJV
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and YET OFFEND IN ONE POINT, he is GUILTY OF ALL. [11] For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
You will probably say, “But we are not UNDER THE LAW because Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law (Gal. 3:13)”
Certainly. But do you not know that you are ONLY NOT under the law if you already died to it? Have you died to the law? How do you know? Please read these verses carefully. It clearly says that if you sin, you are still a servant of sin and sin leads to death. You are therfore still under the law if you still struggle with sin.
      Romans 6:1-7,11,14-16,18,20-23 KJV
Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? [3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
[7] FOR HE THAT IS DEAD IS FREED FROM SIN.
If you are still sinning you are NOT YET DEAD from the law. You have not yet been crucified with Christ. It is clear that we can be freed from sinning by dying to it.
[11] Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. [14] For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
[15] What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. [16] Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
[18] Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
[20] For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
[21] What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. [22] But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
[23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
      Romans 3:31 KJV
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW. (those who died to sin have fulfilled the law because he does not cause anyone to stumble by loving his neighbor, therefore, they will not be judged under the law because they do not transgress it.)
Jesus said likewise that whoever sins is a servant of sin. If he sets you free from it you are free indeed. That way you are able to fulfill the law.
      John 8:34,36 KJV
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. [36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
      James 3:2 KJV
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
You might say it's not talking about those who sin unintentionally but to those who wilfully sin.
How do you differentiate wilful versus unintentional sinning?
      James 4:17 KJV
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
If you commit adultery and you know the commandment that thou shalt not commit adultery and whoever lusts after a woman in his heart already commits adultery, you sin wilfully. Therefore you are convinced of the law as transgressor, therefore you will be judged under the law in the day of judgment.
      Romans 2:6 KJV
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
      2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Who have ears to hear let him hear, Jesus said.

What about Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5) and 1 Corinthians 11, where Paul writes about some getting sick and even dying because of the unworthy manner in which they were partaking the Lord's supper? God seems in these cases to be judging His church (though maybe not finally condemning?!?). The book of revelation would be another letter/testimony to consider.
Is God angry with me when I sin? It seems the answer may be, maybe. What is God's disposition towards me in Christ when I stumble? It depends. As parents, does not our disposition depend many factors - their motive in their act and their response to correction, to name a couple? Though I cannot ever imagine doing what the Lord doing did to Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5, could it not mean that at times the Lord still does punish and bring judgment upon His people?
