    The latest collection of gadgets from Samsung are absolutely the best they have made. You won't be disappointed. I got the watch 3 , buds live and note 20 ultra. All bad ass. Get it you won't be disappointed

      Watch is absolutely fantastic with battery life, goes a day and half pretty much 2 days, not as good as pebble, but for the features I'm getting adjusted to it and honestly the features are worth it. Watch has a microphone and speaker, been using it as a BT audio for calls. Talk into the watch on wrist and communicate with the other person.

      I have a Gear S3 and an Active 2. I am now trying out the Watch 3. The sleep monitoring on the Active 2 and Watch 3 don't read my sleep as well as the Gear S3. All other functions are great. My Gear S3 battery is not lasting as well as it did new. I am impressed with the battery life of the Watch 3. I have changed the leather band to my Gear S3 original band. I prefer the Active 2 original band.

      I found my Galaxy Watch 3 in the display case at the local Target. They honored the online price of 399.99 vs the 429.99. The Target app doesn't acknowledge any inventory in the stores in the Pittsburgh PA area, yet there were 4 in the display case.
      My Gear S3 Frontier was an LTE version and it became a nuisance because of the phone number that was assigned was being bombarded with texts and calls that were not meant for me. I got T-Mobile to close the phone line off and basically turn it into a bluetooth phone. Works great for my lifestyle.

  • @hwneyezzz
    @hwneyezzz 3 года назад +5

    Thank you for your review, I been searching for videos that are more specific on bluetooth versus LTE, yours so far has been very informative and I think based on preference and a little more of being able to pay the extra fee for LTE is well worth it. I just wish the the watch3 titanium version would come out in LTE. Hoping it will, maybe not, I may hold out for a little while. Really want to get it, but I'll wait.

    Thanks for covering LTE model which was really needed. Appreciate for clarifying the MST support.
    I wish you had elaborated more on two main features:
    Phone Calls & Text Messaging.
    You briefly said the watch only works with Samsung Messaging. So how does the text messaging work on non-Samsung phones? Android or iPhone?
    Same question for phone calls.
    So the LTE model gets phone calls forwarded to it through LTE data connection? Meaning that if you phone is off, you won't get calls or text messages?

    • @rayzimmermin
      @rayzimmermin 3 года назад

      their is an altimeter and barometer so it can do air pressure trends you just need to install the free app from the store it has Samsung health that dose all your vital sine tracking and can even track your sleep patterns and a on board thermometer on it used for anything but making sure it dose not over heat would be pointless because 1 the watch is not at an ambulant temp because of your body heat and the heat it generates by running so it can't measure the room temp accurately and 2 your wrist is not an accurate place to take you own temp from but with a weather app installed you can get temps for your location

    today I went into our local store and checked this out for myself. Man, when I will buy this it''' be purely for weight. I am very happy with the performance of my present SGW 46mm, but even after all this time I had it, the weight of this watch is still an issue for me. It's so cool to see that Samsung has addressed the weight issue.

    Haven't spent $1300 on a phone to leave it at home! For 95% of people the LTE model practically speaking is pointless. LTE also has the additional costs of an activation fee on your carrier and a monthly fee. Only useful for the 5% because of work restrictions or extremely long runs without phone.

    • @blindtrader4103
      @blindtrader4103 4 года назад +3

      I always leave my phone at home when I am walking, mountain biking, running, just heading to a Cafe etc. That way I can leave my wallet at home, use the samsung pay on the phone, disconnect from the distraction of the phone and be in the moment but not miss an important call from my wife etc, also use spotify for music. We all spend way too much time on our phones and it's not healthy. I have the watch 3 45mm LTE. I also have Galaxy Frontier LTE. The biggest difference I notice is the speed of the device and the watch 3 screen is much brighter and clearer, which is strange because I think it has the same resolution?

    • @alexdublin2673
      @alexdublin2673 4 года назад +3

      @@blindtrader4103 You are part of that 5%. For the majority, their phones are on them or with them. If one truly wants to disconnect then you don't want any of these things let alone radiation magnet on you 24/7. Only scenario I might not carry my phone with or on me is mountain biking and that is not enough for me to pay $50 premium on the watch and additional $120+ a year for the LTE connection just to potentially make or take a couple of calls a year on it. When I disconnect, I disconnect and instead focus on the nature around me and me.

    What a downgrade Samsung!
    The galaxy watch active 2 LTE with 44mm
    Is better on RAM management it has 1.5 gb of ram compared to 1 gb of ram here. It is 50% more and it is huge.
    My actual active 2 44mm holds me just 8 hours from 8 am to 4 pm if it is LTE and always on display activated, compared to the first galaxy watch which has 470 mha battery which was aimed to hold you the whole day if it is standalone on lte connections. It was 50% more battery juice and it is huge.

    Thanks for mentioning that they removed MST. That's a deal breaker for me. I have been using my Gear S3 Frontier even at really old terminals. It works 98% of times! Don't see a point in switching to Watch3 without MST. Kinda stupid of them to remove it in a new model!

    • @corvetteman0714
      @corvetteman0714 3 года назад

      They removed it, to cut down on size, and improve battery life since the battery is smaller. Bad move to me as well. At least my Note 20 Ultra has MST. Used it to pay for coffee this morning. I do have the Galaxy Watch 3 though, and love it.

    Samsung needs to bring back MST. Its the only reason why I haven't upgraded from my Gear S3. Samsung always has a nack of removing important features just cause they feel people aren't using it. I work in small areas a lot of times for my job and I've noticed at these small corner stores and even post offices, they don't have the upgraded pay terminals....with MST you can still tap to pay, even if it's an older system. Thanks again Samsung for making me have to carry around 2 devices when the lte should have made this a one and done device

Right now mine went from registering 40 plus floors climbed while I'm in bed asleep?! To no floors at all any time. Alti baromoter will wildly go up or down thousands of feet again while I'm watching Netflix in my living room. So is 500 bucks for a watch that's only reliable in the warranty period? You tell me
