CJKnowsTECH I ordered mine. I waited because like you I wasn’t sure if I wanted the more comfortable fit on my small wrist or the big boy all black version. I’ve been having issues with my 44mm active 2 and accidentally pushing the side buttons and deleting stuff unintentionally. So I ordered the smaller one. I’ll give it a week and see if I still want to exchange it for the bigger one. Thanks for your review.

If RAM matters to you just get the LTE version. It has double the RAM (1.5Gb) from the Bluetooth version.

Got my watch 3 41mm, it's a little bit smaller than what I would have liked but I LOVE it.
Got the Gear 2 for free 4 years ago and it still works great and upgrades easily.
As for me, I couldn't wait for the Gear S2 to be officially released in Malaysia so I ordered from Amazon. Turns out I'm the only person in Malaysia who can use Samsung Pay on the Gear S2 coz weirdly enough, Malaysian model of the watch doesn't support Samsung Pay here in the country. 😅
I wish I'm still worked. I unknowingly cracked my back screen and then it feel in my cup of sweet tea. Now it works and how it wants
Thanks for your honesty. I was curious how others felt about upgrading from the Galaxy Watch. I have the Mystic Bronze with the matching bronze stainless steel band. The "pink" band wasn't doing anything for me. It wasn't pink enough, lol. I upgraded from the og Galaxy Watch, which was laggy, would freeze, and constantly dropped connection with my phone, for some reason. The screen, the new look and the color sold me on the 3. With my trade in and employee discount, I only paid $135. I love a good deal and a classy watch.
Was on the fence with this, but my Galaxy Watch and 5+ day battery, I just can't justify switching.
The slimmer feel/look feels much better on the wrist. More in line with the looks of an traditional watch. Which is the look I'm going for!

@@jason3064 Yes. I only get five days on power save. If u work out 2plus hours like I do, you are lucky to get a full day on the Galaxy watch. This has been my experience.
Got my 45mm Mystic Black and I am loving it!
I upgraded from my old Galaxy Watch to the 45mm Watch3 and am finding a BIG difference in battery life. The Watch3 is lasting less than 2 days, while the old Galaxy Watch lasted more than 3 days. I am using it about the same, so not great. Still loving it though!

Got myself the Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium after my Galaxy Watch 46mm died on me after 3 years of daily usage.. Greatest buy ever. Love the original strap that comes with the titanium model. Perfect companion with my Z Fold 2.
For the people who are choosing between 45 and 41 mm. I have them both and with a little tweaking on the settings there is almost no difference in battery. This is because the screen of the 41 mm is also a little smaller and that means that it will use less. Also in my country (the Netherlands) the 41 mm is cheaper so if I was you I would choose 41 mm if u like a smaller budget. If u have to mutch money go for it and buy the 45 mm but u wil almost find no difference in battery life.

@Ahtsham Waqar no. Go for a better one from Samsung. The watch 3 is still getting updates but is lacking in apps and storage.
If I wanted a new and better smartwatch I would go with the newest apple watch. If u don't have apple go with the newest Samsung watch, but don't get the watch 3 it'd almost useless now.
Thanks for doing a comparison with the OG Galaxy Watch. I have the Galaxy Watch and been using it since launch. It's been acting finicky lately and been wavering on pulling the trigger on this upgrade since Samsung is doing trade-ins. I'm not upgrading my Note 10 Plus so I think this will satisfy my tech itch 😊.
What issues do you have on your Watch? I had my motherboard replaced 3 times in the last 4 months (faulty alti-barometer sensor), once repaired I will sell it and get the 3. Was planning to keep the original, cause imo looks better, but I had enough with these issues, and I read the samsung forums, there are plenty of people having the same issue.

As I said before I totally agree Cj, I love the sleep tracking system in my Galaxy Watch, way better in my opinion vs my series 6 44 mm product red. BUT it is a heavy watch.

I’m highly disappointed at galaxy watch 3 . I traded my gear s3 frontier that I had for 3 years for this newer model. I wished I haven’t done that because the same credit card terminals . I used with my s3 frontier at Sams and Walmart stores I had no problem with making a purchase. The same credit card terminals I just mention won’t even pickup the signal from my watch 3. That was the main advantage that Samsung Smart watches had over apple’s smart watch
It’s because it doesn’t have MST technology like the older watches (GearS3 and earlier)
CJKnowsTECH yeah I found that out after seeing you video. I recall hearing that a couple of years ago but no one mention that was one of the downfall of it. To me I feel that was a dumb move on Samsung part Like that was a big advantage Samsung had over Apple. If it wasn’t broke why fix it. If I haven’t traded my other watch . I should would return it. Looks so much better with a custom band like this metal.
The stock band on the titanium version doesn't have the gab between the body and band and looks nice
likely gonna pick mine up black friday time. still dont know which color, i like the mystic bronze but the black or silver would look better to customize the bands

Just got one from Target. They had a great deal for buying a phone and the option to get the watch or earbuds for $99. Loving the experience so far.
Just ordered the 45mm. Although I am more of an Apple person, I just didn’t feel like buying the Apple Watch because it looks weird. I have been looking into Samsung watches for years and I always felt like my 1st smart watch will be Samsung
I can't believe there were different sizes!! But I ended up getting the 45mm with 2 wrong band sizes. But I'm glad I saw this video after to fix my confusion!! 🤣 great video

Best review I have seen yet on this watch. I recently moved to a Note 20 Ultra from an iPhone and I need an Apple watch alternative. I am just wondering as far as size difference between the two Galaxy watches. The larger of the two watches does look pretty big . I am wondering if the smaller would look ok on a man's wrist? But then again the battery life does need to be considered.

My Galaxy Watch 2 had water ingress from regular freestyle swimming for 20 minutes per session. Samsung refuse to admit their watch is not really 5 ATM water resistant and is charging me the price of a brand new watch to repair it. I'm posting this everywhere to warn potential buyers. Apologies for spamming.
I like the Galaxy Watch 3...got the 45mm LTE...had the Gear S...as my most recent, so it definitely was time for an upgrade...🤔 yes, the battery life is a problem, but the good outweighs the bad...I charge in the evening...the only change I'd make is quick charge...I don't need the watch always on...why do other people need to know what time it is from my watch? 😁 it's a wearable smartphone....not a watch...meh...yes it is effective, mostly for sleep tracking...misses some sleep, decent for pulse ox...good phone calls...yeah definitely upgrade if you don't have a recent smartwatch like active 2...
I have the bronze Galaxy Watch 3 and it lasts 2.5 days. On the Galaxy Watch I get 1 day and on the Frontier I get 2 days. I wanted the 45mm. But I don’t wear silver and I already have the Frontier. So no need for the black. Only option was the bronze. Also, I’m a girl with wrists that aren’t even 6”. No issues sleeping in my Frontier.

I don't have a problem sleeping with my 45mm, I came from the 42mm og and I think that that one was worse to sleep with

Just got a note 10 plus and the 46mm galaxy watch for 500, along with a few cases and tempered glass screen protectors. Starting to see the value!!

I'm going to stick with my GW46mm and my GW Active 2 44mm. I rotate between these 2 watches daily and I just don't see the GW3 as being a big enough upgrade. If they made the bronze in the 45mm I would possibly be tempted. Idk why they assume people would only want that in 41.
Also, both of my watches are LTE, which uses a little more battery because I frequently disconnect and reconnect from my phone, depending on my proximity to my phone. I dont want a small battery on a newer watch! Nope.
Have had the Galaxy Watch OG since it came out and still working absolutely 100%. I have the black version battery still 2 to 3 days but I still charge it every night. Looks exactly the same.

Good review. I'm waiting to see the titanium model to compare. I had the Active 2 and also tried 3rd party stainless steel bands(3) and all started shiwing scratches in a couple weeks of wearing them. Like to hear how yours holds up?

not ip68 rate, it could die in swimming use
i have the first galaxy watch and the active 2 which i used in water swimming activities in my house pool and both of them have hold the claim of being ip68. this galaxy 3 did not hold even just one swimming time after just 3 weeks of ownership. send it to Samsung care and they won't honor the warranty and want me to pay 220 for the repair.
if you're planning to use it on water like swimming i would not recommend to buy it.
update: received the watch from the repair center and the back cover of the watch was broken, 3 of the 4 holes that keep it on please where broken. and was hanging by the cable from the sensor attached to the main board on the case.

Ok, went to AT&T to get the line. He quieted the accessibility voice...lol
But he tried the watch..n it went straight to VM. I'll give it a day or two....and if it still isn't working, I guess I'll try and go open a line at t-mobile, I hear they work with this watch. 🙄👍
Can you leave your smart phone at home when wearing the watch or do you need to carry it always with you
If you have a LTE version then you'll still get text messages etc. But if you have a Bluetooth version it'll rely on a smartphone to be able to connect to internet. But it'll still tell time and other non internet functions

Does the OG Galaxy watch still get updated system upgrades like the galaxy watch 3? Can't decide if I should get the new GW3 or the OG Galaxy watch.
It's around 300 at best buy it was good deal to me. It looks premium to me.
Good video! I'm a Garmin fan, but will buy definitely a Samsung Watch 3 for daily and office work. For the rest the Fenix 6X pro will do it's job. 😉
Thing i hate about galaxy watches is that upon close inspection, the workout modes - namely how many calories you burn per exercise - are preset, I have tested this vs Apple Watch

Great review, I’d love to get one for my iPhone 11 as it’s an amazing design and the dial makes it feel much more traditional and like a watch then apples watches, however I’m not sure it’s worth getting with an iOS device as I haven’t seen much in depth reviews for iPhones

Still have the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier because I think it looks better than the Galaxy Watch 3.. will need a new battery soon.
I have galaxy watch and 3. 3 is much better looking and is much lighter. Be prepared to charge watch 3 every 1 1/2 days instead of 3 days on original .

Yes please, do a review with a non Samsung phone..I've seen where people are having a hard time syncing it up with not having a Samsung.
Been using it with OnePlus. No issues with sync but some features r not there. Like camera control you need to depend on 3rd party. Apple watch has it in stock n for galaxy watch you need to download it 🙄 n only limited Samsung phones r supported as well 🤦🏻♂️. In the first setup you'll have to download all samsung stuffs galaxy wearable, watch plugin etc n all these apps run in background so it does consume your battery. In samsung phone all these come in stock rom whereas for rest we have to download all these samsung service stuffs n they run in background which will more battery.

Loved and lauded Samsung Galaxy watch but, 2.5 years later. Lagging, slow, delayed touch response, inconsistent bluetooth connection. All trouble shooting done with limited tempoary results. Samsung representatives offer zero help.. Looking for a reliable replacement solution.

This is my first smart watch and I gotta say the only thing I'm disappointed with so far was the battery.

WiFi auto
Bluetooth on
GPS off
I slept in it
It was fully charged at 10pm last night, and it was down to 7% at 8pm tonight, 22 hrs.
Is something wrong with my watch?
That sounds about right thats all u get in reality coming from AW5 its similar battery usage have to charge it daily & that's with always on display on

Good review. Although it would've been nice if u had compared the performance/speed to the original smart watch. I hear they didn't upgrade the chip and the chip inside is like 3 years old now!
Not sure if the 3 is worth it. The active 2 is a 100 and change cheaper .

Dude I barely use the features of this watch, have walkways on display turned off and I don’t get two full days on the larger watch. Not sure what your are doing to get 2+ days out of it.
The watch isn't that big. My wrists are as small as yours and the watch size is fine.
Which one do you got, the 45mm or the 41? The size is my only concern... I have a big wrist but i dont like watches that "fill" the wrist, u know? I think im going with the smaller size, the only problem is the battery, which might be slightly better than the apple watch, i think.
I've got the mystic bronze watch. I was a bit hesitant incase the bands were too pink. Honestly I don't think they're pink at all. It's more of a nude colour

Why have an analog face with a one second tick (aka quartz)? At least the Rolex face has a sweeping second hand but it's a bit jumpy compared to the real thing. ;)
I just picked up the 41mm Bluetooth version for $250 from Samsung site. (Got $30 for my old gear sport)
