H. certainly looks after Fantastic Place as if he realizes himself that he and the rest of the band are performing better than on the original album-recording sessions and therefore this gig being one of Marillion's best ever performances with H. as the singer plus being it a highlight in their carreers. The emotion speaks for itself. It's a favorite of mine together with the recordings made in Ahoy, Rotterdam at the Afraid Of Sunlight-tour at the 29th of september 1995 which ended up at the 'Best Of Both World'-album in 1997.
Rene, just listened to "Best of both worlds " and couldn't find any live tracks you were referring to. Is there a special version available via the Racket club...? Would love to hear the recording. Perhaps you can bring some light into it..thanks.
@@zipflip5130 I think Rene meant the live album "Made Again". The whole Rotterdam show was remixed and included on the Afraid of Sunlight deluxe set, and it is one of their finest concert recordings.
saw them at Kulturbolaget in Malmö Sweden 2005 I think..It was very good and emotional for me..I just lost my twin brother to an overdose of heroin..it was our favourite band since we were small...thanks for putting this up..

Steve Hogarth is an incredible artist. But beware, when he speaks out in the king's English, he talks in drivel. The lesson from this is, follow your hero by their medium. Look at our world through his eyes, instead of his world through our's.
What are you talking about? I've probably seen & heard a hundred interviews with H over the years, and he's never "talked in drivel." He's actually one of the smartest & most articulate musicians I've ever come across. I don't always agree with his naive political opinions, but he doesn't "talk in drivel." Put down the bong.
