Turning on notifications really have its perks! Another first comment in your video just like last time~
Also, I changed my channel name and profile picture because I'm going to start uploading videos of me unboxing orchids and soon, maybe featuring orchid blooms and other plants as well! Happy Growing!

Up here in southern Queensland the spikes are starting on some of mine as well - the tiny "Sparkles/Twinkles". and my Miltassia as well. Much excitement as I check each morning for new ones. Love autumn as the weather begins cooling and the light changes.

Fabulous spikes & bloom pics! Thank you. My Milt. moreliana smells like sweet licorice. The Milt. Goodale Moir is on my ‘must have’ list but I can’t find it in Qld. Miltonias thrive up here. My Cattleyas often get sheaths that come to nothing until the conditions are right or the plant is mature enough. I hope your Catts.actually reward you this year!

Cattleyas grow better for me inside as I’ve mentioned before, north facing window. Plenty of light and sun, watch carefully tho they don’t burn. I currently have two cats in flower. Wish I could send you a pic.

You can get Brazilian Cattleya species including purpurata, tenebrosa or RL they would do very well in Melbourne. There are heaps of cold growers hybrids
