African Violets! I know some people say they’re hard but I’ve never had a problem. I have several and they all almost constantly bloom. They’re so great for small spaces too, as long as they get enough light.
I totally agree I love them so much and have had such good luck having them bloom so often
I’m interested in trying these out again I think 😮 gonna search around for the right one
For me violets are the easiest. And very forgiving
You always can chop off the top and re-root
I found the key to African violets is grow light and humidity. I have 5 in my bathroom with a grow light and they bloom all the time and they blooms last so long. I have kept them other places in the house and I put them on a dish with rocks and a bit of water. They also like to not be sitting in water.
I have an African violet, it was on of my first house plants! It’s an amazing lil plant, the leaves are so lush too!
I bought 4 different colors of holiday cacti from Hirt's and planted them together. They are budding now. I can't wait to see them.
Oh my gosh it’s gonna be so pretty ☀️
Hoya Bella is my favorite! Love love that one. It blooms pretty easy compared to some other hoya’s. And the smell is just so good 💚
Such a beautiful selection! Love this video, Harli :)
The dancing dolphin plant is a fun one. The flowers truly look like dolphins.
My zigzag cactus is about to bloom and I'm so excited for it! I read somewhere that they last only about twelve-ish hours and they have a vanilla scent :-). Last year my maranta leuconeura had some tiny blooms. So cute! My favorite thus far. And the tradescantia pallida purple heart also gives nice tiny blooms. I'm lovin' it
I love love love 💕 ALL your blooming plants🌿🌼👍
My mom has a thanksgiving cacti and I’m so glad you mentioned it because it has THE best blooms. She has a massive one that she’s had for almost 20 years now and it’s the most incredible thing when it fully blooms. And it’s one of her easy maintenance plants too so it’s such a good plant to have.
Ohhh I bet it’s so beautiful
Now that I've gotten one to rebloom, I'm kinda hooked on orchids. Bright light and soaking for 20-30 min in fertilized water every two weeks has worked well.
Black pagoda lipstick plant, stunning plant with beautiful yellow orange flowers! Hoya burtoniae, quick growing Hoya that blooms just as quick!
My sundew had three spikes of blooms this summer, it was so wonderful!
Ahh, that begonia is beautiful! Added it to my wishlist immediately.
I fell in love with that one immediately. It truly was love at first sight. I'm going to have to get one! The spikey, oh, so delicate blooms are mesmerizing to me.
Bridal Veil, Peace Lily, African Violet are 3 of my favorites!
Kalanchoe blossfeldiana (might be known as "coral flower") are so pretty and also low maintenance :)
Hoyas are my absolute favorite plant to bloom, especially the callistophylla😍
For any houseplant people that love cooking…I suggest growing saffron. Im in the process of growing my first bulbs. They have beautiful flowers. So far it’s they’ve been quick growing and super easy.
Anthurium. The blooms last for months! So pretty
I love these plants!! 😍
Would love to see your bog garden,
Hi Harli, your bloomers are so pretty!! I do have a Thanksgiving cactus and she is the variegated type. She hasn't bloomed for me yet and I cannot wait to see what they look like against the variegated bracts!
I love these blooms. I was surprised no hoya blooms!
I’m looking all over for a Thai pink. Too cold to ship one in but Logees and Steve’s leaves are both out.
Thanks for the video.
I loved it 😆💚💚💚💚
They all are beautiful in their own way!never out of fashion!🌷🤩
💚🌵🌱☘️💚
Thank you!
Not just the blooms, but the plant + pot combo of your begonia cleopatrae and your aeschynanthus thai pink look gorgeous as well!
Thank you! 🙏
I love my pingdom when all the Pings/Butterworts are in flower on the Ping rock. It's great when they are not in flower as well, all the different leaf colors are amazing.
I like my Tahitian bridal vails blooms❤❤ your the person who made me want to get one and I love it.
Love seeing a new video and all the plants! I fell in love with the planter for the Begonia cleopatra. I'm hoping it's from an online store and not a local nursery because it's been living in my head rent free since I watched this video :3. I know it's unlikely that I'll get more info but you can't fault me for trying :P
I’m a huge fan ofschlumbergera, I currently have 9 and I find they really benefit from spending summer outside in my garden. I get such a large display of blooms which I never got until they started being put outside
Plectranthus "mona lavender" a super cute bloomer! Definitely more so sold as a outdoor plant but can absolutely be grown indoors.
Love that begonia!
I love a good orchid. Thanksgiving cactus. I don’t have a lot of plants that naturally bloom in the colder months, though. Outside of that, I like a good cactus blossom and I had a Venus fly trap that had beautiful blossoms. 🤍 I do like an African Violet blossom, as well. 💜
My big Hoya Linearis just had about 20 -25 blooms. Last year it only had about 5 blooms but it survive a move, so I blamed myself :), but man, is that a beautiful plants in itself, but with flowers, I was like…Wow wow wow :)) I might get a E. Millii !
I've never been so soon to comment! Can't wait to see the video!
I just love your videos they make me so happy
Thank you. This makes me really happy
In Ghana, the Euphorbia Milii is all over the place, sometimes it's planted as a border. I was looking for the name. Thank you for providing the name Harli.
Have you seen the party time plant or the purple passion plant?! There’s a shop based in Canada, that has them and I’d never seen them before!! Very colourful and super fun and different 🥰
The only bloomers I have are Hoyas, lacanosa is a constant bloomer and linearis is an easy bloomer in my care
Could u explain more about ur care for the Christmas cacti? What mix do u have it in?
A desert rose would be something to look into. Likes more light like any other deserty tree does. And there’s tons of bloom colors out there!
Great video concept!
My blooming houseplant rec is impatiens (i think there are indoor and outdoor types), which grows like a weed and flowers ALL THE TIME with cute little pink flowers, as long as you give it some light. And the leaves look great and lush, too. Easiest plant i've ever owned! Pretty thirsty but forgiving. Super easy to propagate, as well.
Hoya Multiflora (or shooting star Hoya)! Very unique and constant blooms. Extremely hardy plant too :))
Loved this video but also wanted to mention I love the video ending you do now? It's so cute and fun :)
Thannk you (:
I have a Christmas cactus and am currently keeping it on my enclosed balcony where it can have total darkness for at least 12 hours a day, so it can bloom again this Christmas. It’s so pretty! My kalanchoe is there too but it’s still young, so I’m not holding my breath 😄
I also have cyclamen, orchids and a peace lily. I love them all and I feel so proud when they bloom 😊 But I’m most excited about my red anthurium because it’s new and still hasn’t bloomed for me
For me its orchids and cacti. A lot of them will bloom just growing on a window sill.
Love the Thai Pink! My favorite and most frequent bloomer is my Flame Violet - it’s covered in red trumpet shaped flowers all the time.
Ohhh looking into that now 🙏
@@HarliG let me know if you can’t find one - I have a baby I can send you.
My oxalis blooms all the time. My thanksgiving cactus has pale pink blooms and is going nuts right now. It’s at least 15 years old and would be much bigger if I took better care of it 😮
How long does the T-giving cactus bloom?
@@jackiewhitney5031 three or four weeks? It also blooms in the spring but not as much.
@@liteweightpup2561 What fertilizer do you use to make it bloom and how much light does it need? Thank you for responding :))
@@jackiewhitney5031 I have it about a foot from a south window and water with a quarter teaspoon of Miracle Grow or orchid fertilizer per gallon. I let it get really dry before watering.
So beautiful 💕
Your new subscriber from India 😊
Do you have the link for the bog garden? Would love you watch it!
Harli, you gotta tell me where you sell some of your plants 🤩🙏🏻 please
I would add Ruellia Makoyana to your list.
Do you know enough about holiday cactus to instruct us on when and how to prune it back so it grows out to be able to hold up to the weight of the flowers? Mine get so heavy it breaks off or comes out of the soil.
Harlii, the Abutilon can bloom indoor? i dont have any “flower type” of plant, but seeing these plants is make me to wish to have onee 😂
I have been looking for a Thai pink since the last time you mentioned it. Can't find one. 😢
I would love if you could give a list of plants in the description when you do videos like this so I can look them up later. If it is a lot of work for you, please ignore this comment. :)😊
Utricularia is also carnivorous!
I have goldfish and chenille hanging plants that bloom randomly but would love to help them along. Harli, what do you feed your blooming plants? For outdoor plants, I know the P in NPK is for Phosphorus and you want that number to be higher ... some say double ... than the N/Nitrogren when growing roses, for example. Is that true for indoor plants? Thanx.
This is an old fashioned one but I have so much luck African violets..... I even got an African violet with a different type of flower on it..... Pink flower kind of shaped like a tiny little horn...
Hello I need help I have a pathos plant and I cut some of it and I but it in the water every thing was OK but when I put them in soil they isn't grow can you make a video.sorry for my bad English can
Euphorbia "flowers" are actually very reduced inflorescences. They are the weirdest thing (also very conserved within the group, I believe, i.e. all Euphorbias have that trait). If you can find a diagram, check it out.
Is your Thai pink in moss?
I've only ever gotten my African Violets to bloom. Nothing else will bloom for me... Probably because I'm super worried about over watering that I tend to let them dry out too much.... 😅
💚💚
Is that known as crown of thorns. If, so I read their not really flowers. Could be a different plant but looks a lot like mine. ~ Tammy
🦋 🦋 🦋
Haha, this might be a little random, but if you read the title in a British or Australian accent it’s kinda funny. 😄
How do you get your Abutilon to flower? Mine is same size but won’t flower. 😢
It seems they appreciate high light, lots of nutrients, & pretty frequent waterings. Mine seems to drop flowers if I use tap water 🙃
@@HarliG Thanks. I feel like I’m checking those boxes but I’ll pay more attention. Maybe up nutrients.
What happened to all your orchids ?! I remember you having quite a few :)
I gave them to Heather Hoyas when I had my second baby bc I didn’t have time then. I hope to find some cool orchids again! I just love them.
🌈❤😎👍👍👍🌷🥰😍
