For anyone wanting to know how long they last, the author wrote: "They last for a good 10-14 days in an airtight container in the fridge." Other commenters below have mentioned they have also frozen the jams successfully. Thank you Lacey, this is fantastic!!!
Thanks for this. I was about to ask this in the comments section :-)
you can and one teaspoon of lemon juice at the end to increse the taste and keep longer.
Margret John can you water bath them for canning
@@winterfoxx3181 this recipe would NOT work for water bath canning because of the lack of sugar. The xx cups of sugar in canned jelly and jam recipes is what makes it safe for canning.
There is low methoxl pectin for use in water bath canning with stevia or artificial sweeteners. I found it recently when researching low carb fruit spreads.

I made some blackberry jam with freshly squeezed orange juice (I forgot to get lemons) last week, and the orange flavor went really well with the blackberries.
I just made some mixed berry jam (about half strawberries, with the rest being blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries) using lime juice (again, didn't have lemons), and I'm hoping that it goes just as well.
I know I won’t be buying this anymore from Thrive Market!! So easy to make it at home, and I know exactly what is in it, and who touched it! Thank you so much for everything you just taught us! I shared this with my family!
@ :35 🍓 strawberry: chunky or smooth

3:25 🍑 peach
4:25 💜 blueberry
5:30 💗 raspberry
Apricot!!
I've made kiwi /chia jam it was delish! It required more Sweetener tho. I sweetened mine with liquid stevia. Yumm! I'll be making all your jams too. Now if only there was a way to preserve them!
I saw yesterday that freezing these jams is great, just need to take them out a few hours before using them, so now you can preserve all your seasonal fruits and keep them fresh in the freezer.
Tried this today. It's turned out to be one of the easiest and best recipes I've ever tried ❤️
thank you this is just what I needed! I will be sweetening my jam with a bit of organic date syrup rather than honey or maple syrup
This is the lowest in sugar I've seen a jam recipe! I am so happy I stumbled across it as someone who has sugar sensitivities! Can't wait for late spring-summer to make these jams with fresh fruit! Now peach picking will definitely be on my to-do list this summer 😁
I've just made it, waiting for it to cool down. Gonna have it with coconut yogurt
This video was just what I needed this morning. I'm a reluctant homesteaders with a bunch of figs, a need to go sugarless, with plenty of Chia in the pantry. Thank you! It looks like this process will work all summer long with any fruit. Am I assuming correctly?
Really nice video. But I have a few questions..
1) what is the shelf life if these are not kept in refrigerator
2) what is shelf life if these are kept in refrigerator
I personally love peach and mango, mixed berry or cherry preserves. Low sugar, good quality fruit spreads are so expensive in jars and yet so easy to make at home.
Your cat is beautiful
@@mechiel_7 .....Thank you but not mine, it's a stock photo from Google Images. I went through a number of cat pics before deciding on this one. Beautiful she is.
@@msr1116 oh. It looks exactly like mine though
I have four cats 😂
And also didn’t know you would reply a year after
Sweet Pea Chef, you are a life saver I have been trying to find recipes that are healthy alternatives to sugary jams and jellies, I just had to give you your prop’s.
We tried the blueberries and peaches, which turned out great, thank you! We also tried the raspberries without cooking the berries. It was a little more tart, but it was a nice variation.
how long can you store the jam for??
@@klara8963
2 weeks in the refrigerator, one year in the freezer. If you greeze in glass jars, leave more head space, anout 3 cm.
Just made the raspberry one. Worked out great, definitely recommend! Thanks for the recipe.

Yes you covered my favorite jam!!; helpful ideas too!!!!!!
So glad I found your channel. I have made a black cherry chia jam, fresh or frozen...one of my favorite fruits.
Great smart idea in cooking. I am on low sugar diet. Smart idea using Chia seeds to thicken.
Yummy 😋
How long it lasts in fridge??
Does anyone know? I'm wondering the same thing
@@machisher If it is air tight, I store mine in a glass jar in the fridge..the longest I've had it was about 2 weeks, if it lasts that long :)
I've got teenage boys. I make HUGE batches. Let it completely cool in the pan. Put it in used, plastic peanut butter jars, half inch head and freeze. I keep two in the fridge. When we get down to half a jar, just pull one out of the freezer.
PB&J never gets old in my house. ;-)
Gracias, me encantó el vídeo. También se que la miel puede ayudar a conservar las mermeladas. Yo las hago así y me duran mucho.
Concord Grape Jam pls. Was told to look into Chia seed so I can do w/o pectin and sugar. Nice video! I have always had an issue w/my jam's being to runny. So I end up with Concord thick syrup instead. But, I filter out the skins and seeds of the grapes.
Looks quite delicious.. peach Jam was so new to me
Brilliant! Great, healthy, tasty recipes
I see this is 3 years ago. But was wondering can this be canned and stored for long periods of time or is it more of a temporary use
Was wondering if you could make a passion fruit jam and mango jam love watching your show watch it when I can keep up the good work 😊
Sounds wonderful.
The best tutorial I've seen ever love it

How long do they keep in the fridge?
Yes yes yes no sugar I love it👍thanks for sharing😍
Love it , looks to be very good.
They’re really good. I hope you give them a try :)
Cannot wait to try these with "french pancakes" or crepes!
How long will they keep , and would they keep outside of the fridge ? I want to make blackberry jam that will keep for a while and won’t have enough room in the fridge , thanks !
I freeze it but since it’s so fast and easy to make I don’t make big batches at a time. I will freeze the fruit if I have a lot and make it as needed.
Wow I will try this hope I like it. It will save me from going out to buy a canner!
Can’t wait to try these! How long do they keep?
PEACH JAM!!!!YAY!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
I love cherries, so I made jam with some overripe ones I still had in the fridge😄
How about apricot chia jam? I'm definitely going tohave a go at these homemade jams.

Perfect
Yay! So glad you think so
Have you ever tried rhubarb with chia for jam?? Thanks for this great video!
Perfect!!!
Right???? ❤️
To anyone looking to make “jam” without cooking, try using a pinch of Xanthan Gum (found in baking aisle). Purée fruit of choice, add sweetener if desired, then a little Xanthan gum and blend. Xanthan is a commercial ingredient used as a quick thickener, and is supposedly safe to consume in moderation with other daily food choices likely also containing XG in mind. It’s the equivalent of adding Wondra flour to thicken a gravy. What you should end up with is a thick spread that won’t have the “jelly” ness of jam, but the viscosity and flavor of raw fruit
Can you please share Kiwi sugar free jam recipe? Amazing video, loved it!
Very nice thanks God bless
I want to make each of these, to add on top of oatmeal each morning.
Ooohhhhh that sounds great! 😍😍😍
Thank you! I've been looking for sugar-free ways to sweeten my oatmeal. 👍👏👏👏
I add it as the sweetener to homemade granola before baking.
Gorgeous thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks mam
Hi thanks for the healthy recipe. how long it will stay in the fridge .I mean long we can preserve it ? and what about it’s self-life ?
Thank you for these recipes and tips. Can we also make fresh fig jam and canned or frozen pineapple jam?
Would love to print recipes for these lovely chia jams?
Ty I was looking for a whole food PLANT-BASE jam
🙋♀️ Thanks, im going to try this, except im going to sweeten with stevia and monk-fruit. Jam is sooo expensive and sugar free is pretty much tasteless for this sweet tooth gal. 👍
Can you sift out the seeds and still have a jelly type consistency ???
Would love to do this..
💚🌿💚🌿💚
Ofcourse you can. Once you have the concentrated juice without the corns or seeds, you can make jam with it.
I just want to know where did u get your glass jar. so cute 😍
looks like at a thrift store no way a bulk store would have those.
Can these miracle be kept on a shelf for moths like normal jams, or they go bad fast and is needed to be kept in a fridge ?
Store in the freezer
Looks good, thank you.
How long they last in the fridge, did I miss this that part ? , thank you so much 😊,
Also I’ve tried once a jam in Spain made with pumpkins, it was super delicious, it was one kind of flavor different from any jam I’ve eaten before I remember asking about the ingredients, and was told it was pumpkin squares peeled about 5 pounds with sugar [ of course ], and about 1 pound of two different type of nuts combined ( I think almonds and walnut /or /hazelnut) and was told that pumpkin needed to be cooked on medium high until dark golden before adding the rest of ingredients. Now I wish you get the chance sometimes to cook it yourself without the sugar and share with us . Thank you again for the great healthy recipes you share with us.
Add some lemmon juice to your taste and that will make the jam last longer in the refrigerator.
❤❤❤❤❤ you ❤️ the best ever 👍💖
I love strawberry jam
This looks great 😍
Thank you💗
I love pineapple jam, can we use the same recipe, and use dates as a sweetner? Many thanks
Can you can these recipes? I have a fig tree so want to make several dozen jars.
