Exactly! I felt that the ending was fantastic. I suppose I could have done without the blowing up of the scouter ship bit, but at the moment everything seemed okay and then we see a ship off in the distance, I sat straight up in my seat. Even though “Cloverfield” is in the title of the movie, and I suppose we should have expected it, the whole time I felt like there was a slight chance that maybe Howard really was just crazy, or perhaps that the threat above might just have been the monster from Cloverfield, and by that time the threat may have been eliminated. So she sees the ship and I’m intrigued to find out - is it our ship (like a weird military helicopter or something)? And as it approaches and it becomes clear it’s definitely an alien ship, my heart was literally pounding. I thought, “holy shit, is this really the better option? Had she stayed in the bunker, would they have eventually been found?”. I found it really frightening actually - the thought that she’s honestly damned either way, everyone is actually screwed and that maybe ending her life was the preferable option at that point. After being taken on a ride the whole movie inside the bunker, the brief relief of escaping only to find out that it really is that bad, and everyone is fucked. It gave me serious anxiety the whole way through and I feel like that’s what a thriller/horror is meant to do.
I just felt like Michelles plot Armour was a bit too fucking strong... it just got kinda ridiculous with the frozen lock, the perfect timing of her getting the mask back on, pressing the keys in the exact moment the alien was about to fuck her shit up and the worst was that perfect molotov throw
The *only* reason it is obvious is the title. If you take "Cloverfield" out of the title, nobody expects aliens and the majority of the people defending the ending say "wow, that came out of nowhere and makes no sense at all". It's abundantly obvious that they bought this script and that this script was *not* supposed to have aliens in it. The movie was great, except the ending. Great tension, great acting, great drama. Absolutely terrible ending. Jumped the shark big time just to make more money off of the Cloverfield name.
1. The monster wasn't an alien, that thing falling into the ocean was supposed to be the ChimpanzIII satellite that supposedly woke the monster up, though it could also be submarines that woke it up, but that'a a story for another day. 2. The 10 Cloverfield Lane ARG heavily implied that aliens were going to be in the movie.
People in the comments who hated the ending need to think about it more or re-watch the movie. The ending didn't come out of nowhere. The movie hits at it the whole time, and I thought it made perfect sense.
superkdude8D It is not post-apocalyptic, it is apocalyptic, do you even know what the prefix post means? For that matter do you need me to explain to you what the word prefix means?
SPOILER ALERT: If you pay close attention to everything Howard says when he's describing how the Russians or others US enemies (possibly Martians) are attacking, it explains exactly how the aliens are attacking throughout the franchise. He mentions how the first wave is a huge attack that kills most of the population and cripples all our major operations. This would he the kaiju in the first film. He then mentions how the 2nd wave is a smaller assault where the enemy hunts the remaining people that are alive one by one. This would explain the 3rd act of this movie. I really love how they sprinkle intelligent insight and clever nods to the universe throughout these films. BRING ON THE CLOVERFIELD CINEMATIC UNIVERSE
I agree with you, though I believe that the kaiju attack and the red blast occurred closely to the same time. The radio broadcasts hint that something bad is happening but no one knows for sure, which means the attack is happening very recently. Shortly after the red blast happens which kicks this story into gear.
That can't be, first of all OG Cloverfield takes place in 2008, this one in 2016. You can tell because of the phone that she uses. Secondly I believe it has been confirmed that the two movies are not in the same universe.
+TheLukeylala I definitely was feeling an alien vibe for a large portion of this movie, but goddamnit that ending was just bad I'm sorry. Great movie, literally 95% of it was awesome...and then the ending happened lol
Spoiler******* I Think the ending would have been better if we didn't have that alien fight scene. Here is the best ending. She escapes the bunker. She finds no aliens. She see's that she doesn't need the mask. She believes that the guy was just a crazy person. Then she starts driving away from the farm. Then she turns on the radio and its the same message. She realizes he was right. Then she drives towards the city. ( I would take away the scene that involved the girl outside the bunker, to add to the mystery)
Well the guy was a psycho but he was right. I would've had it were there was no aliens and he comes back out of the bunker all messed up and trying to kill her or somethin
Swagsuke Uchiha No he was, he treated them like their kids and was really mixed emotions, he also always mentioned Meghan and stuff and also kidnapped that one girl and killed her
That movie was so well done. The tension kept me at the edge of my seat. I feel as if I'm one of the few who thought the ending was fitting. The protagonist is a bad ass and we know that from the beginning so its not a surprise that she was a bad ass in the end. Also "Cloverfield" seems to be a term to associate with supernatural beings.
Please please please Chris do a 10 Cloverfield Lane EXPLAINED - would love to hear your thoughts and if 10 Cloverfield Lane is even connected to cloverfield
Well, I think it would be a bit much to assume that the same exact monster from the first one is also in this one. This movie was just the story of people surviving the events, not the events themselves. I just hope that if they make a sequel, it won't be some independence day shit.
It's left pretty vague intentionally so maybe we will never know. I think most people thought the original Cloverfield monster came from the sea. There's the easter egg that people found of something falling in the ocean that they said "woke the monster up"; people say it's a satellite but I don't think you can tell for sure. And there are other hints that it was some monster that already lived in the ocean... such as the stuff about Slusho ingredients coming from the deep sea.... but I think Abrams never intended for the explanation to be revealed or to really matter.... the original Cloverfield was just a tribute to other big-monster-rampaging-through-the-city movies like Godzilla and King Kong... And I think they put in a lot of easter eggs and possibilities so that they could take it in any other direction. Perhaps the "satellite" easter egg from Cloverfield was actually a "seed" or egg that grew into the monster.... sent from space by the aliens... And the movies happen simultaneously.
John Goodman's character worked on Satellites in the Navy. If it was a satellite, I wonder if that's what set him off since he figured out what would happen next.
John Goodman deserves an Oscar for supporting actor. Or at least a nomination. Him, Ralph Fiennes (A Bigger Splash) and Ben Foster (Hell or High Water) and Daniel Radcliff (Swiss Army Man) are the best performances of the year.
When Michelle fixes the air filtration system, there's a close up on an envelope that's tells more about John Goodman's character and how he worked for the company that found the Cloverfield monster. Also he talks about the attacking in waves. The first movie was like the first wave, attacking the big cities. This one is like wave two where they are looking for survivors to eliminate. The next one may be the final wave and the fight for the planet.
Why won’t Synder release his cut of this movie, crap darn it! The studio interference made this a pile of donkey butt. Please allow Synder to release his cut, so we can see 10 Mile Clover Lane in peace! Crap darn it
@@hammiranda I know its late, but here's my take. I love the ending, I just wish "Cloverfield" wasn't in the title because it made it obvious that the ending was going to happen. There was that whole question of whether or not John Goodmans character was gaslighting them or not, so it was a 50/50 that there would be an alien at the end.
i loved this movie. i also felt like i was one of the very few people who actually liked Cloverfield. and i tried not to have any expectations going into 10 Cloverfield Lane, and i was blown away by how good it was. i would actually love if the cloverfield "franchise" continued in this fashion of sort of..not direct sequels, but a sort of anthology set within the Cloverfield universe. each movie being different people and stories and etc. also,i always thought the dot falling into the ocean at the end of Cloverfield WAS the monster. Like it fell to earth. as a precursor to what we find out at the end of 10 CL.
You're right. I don't by that a little splash from a satellite falling a few miles from New York City would wake up that monster. I mean, isn't there already so much disturbance in those waters?
Nah it was a satellite though the arg in the movie implies that that wasnt what woke it up but the drilling of some oil rigs owned by the same company. Apparently one was the first thing the monster hit
I was obsest with cloverfield when I was 13 in 2008, I'm now 21 and I've been begging for a sequel ever since but im still really interested in seeing this movie
The one scene that "tries" to flesh out Emmett basically tells us the motivation behind this story. Emmett had a chance to leave his comfort zone. He chose not to and he would chose it again. At the beginning we see our hero leaving her life to start over. Even the ending when she reaches crossroads, she chooses the road to Houston. The hard way. Regardless of the danger outside she would rather take the chance than be safe below ground.
I saw this today, and holy shit it was awesome! John Goodmans character was so amazing! Howard was genuinely a great hero/villain! It's connected to Cloverfield perfectly, following how the aliens are still here and Humanity is fighting back! Plus, the ending (Spoilers) signifying there'll be a sequel, possibly a chance to see the Cloverfield monster again was badass! I'd give it an A!
you, Sir, made me watch cloverfield again. ...at 4 AM goddamnit! Gotta say I disliked the movie at first (watched it when I was very little) but now...I just loved it. And its pretty emotional too...
The last 10 minutes reminded me of War of the Worlds 2006 with Tom Cruise. which before they make it to the city in WOTW when they leave the basement and go against the tripod. Some similarities.
+GhostPlanetFilms JJ puts the references of that company in a lot of his shows/films so i dont think is means anything. go read the trivia section of the slusho page on the clovierfield wiki
Chris, I'm not sure if you read about it, but apparently what Bad Robot is trying to do is establish an anthology series based around the Cloverfield brand. Kind of like a big screen, higher budget Twilight Zone. So I'm assuming we should expect more thrillers and horror films under the Cloverfield moniker in the near future. And that honestly sounds pretty darn cool to me. I've always been fond of anthologies, especially of the thriller variety.
i thought that was a way of adding suspense. she's trapped with a man who's a kidnapper, but she has to overlook that because she has to stay in the bunker to survive. which makes it SO creepy when Goodman is all shaved and wearing new clothes right after the other guy is dead
I feel like they are making the "cloverfield" name into something comparable to the "goosebumps" title, in that the films/books in the series are all about similar topics, but are not all sequels to each other.
I am sorry if anyone has brought this up already, but I think the "Cloverfield" name will hopefully become a sort of cinematic Twilight Zone/ H.P. Lovecraft type of universe where we get a bunch of "Cloverfield" movies that are standalone and where weird and crazy shit happens. Love your Cowboy Bebop shirt btw
Great review man. I saw you on PKA today and you were a great guest! I loved the first Cloverfield as well, came into this movie with no expectations, and loved it just as much.
There are some more obvious connections between Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane that I'm very surprised you didn't catch on to, or at least just didn't mention. **Spoilers ahead, for anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet.** The "apocalypse" that's happening in the movie is the aftermath of what happened in the first movie, that's probably the most obvious connection. Also, the aliens at the end of the movie have very similar structures and behaviors to the original Cloverfield monster (specifically the big spaceship with the mouth, as the mouth was literally the same as the Cloverfield monster's), so they're most likely of the same race. Also, John Goodman's character mentioned seeing a big explosion in the distance before the "apocalypse" began; this could easily be a reference to the many explosions that happened at the beginning of the original Cloverfield movie when all the havoc began. That's all basically my personal interpretation but I find the similarities to be striking so I'm pretty sure that's how it all ties together.
a year later, and i think they're connected because this movie took place in another dimension or at least thats what i think it is. if you look hard enough, the cloverfield paradox does at least have some answers.
A. Cloverfield took place in 2008, based on the iPhones and technology in this film, it’s at least taking place in 2014 so i can’t imagine there’s a connection to the original since they don’t take place in the same timeline. B. Even if they are taking place at the same time, this movie is hinted at taking place somewhere in the south/southern Midwest, not New York.
I absolutely LOVE Cloverfield. I still remember vividly the first time I discovered it, I found the DVD in my movie cabinette and was very intrigued. The back of the film didnt even give a synopsis of the film, it basically only said that it was directed by J.J Abrams, I watched it in my car on my way to a youth hunt with my dad and one of my sisters. Not knowing anything about the film really helped build even more suspense than what was already depicted. This film is one of my favorite horror films and favorite films overall. Love what you had to say about both Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane, keep up the good reviews
If you want to know the original ending here it is: In the original script, Michelle escapes the shelter and is chased through the farmhouse by Howard, who still wants to "protect" her. She blinds him with bathroom cleaner, he tells her about his tragic life (dead wife, missing daughter, treacherous Nate, etc.), and then she shoots him in the kneecap and runs away. He ends the movie alive, entreating Michelle to "be careful." Later, after traveling down empty roads and finding no one around to help her, she crests a hill and sees the Chicago skyline, smoldering and destroyed. No explanation is given. We don’t even know what she will do next; only that she now knows that Howard, for all his oddity, was correct. The final line in the script is, "She slowly pulls down the mask on the hazmat suit before taking a breath.
I've really started to enjoy films without high expectations now, or even any for that matter, thanks to Chris. I think overall it has made me enjoy films better. ESPECIALLY THIS SEQUEL,, just out of nowhere this teaser for "10 Clover-field Lane" pops up on my radar. The information about this movie was loose, because of the fact that JJ knew how to play his cards right. THIS MOVIE WAS PHENOMENAL.
Brian Jones it was interesting to see the dynamics of these people being held by a psychopath but it was mostly just filler and uninteresting... Maybe you should think for yourself!
I really enjoyed this movie but I REALLY wish it wasn't called Cloverfield. I think the ending would have been more of a surprise if I wasnt expecting it, and the "Cloverfield" name made me expect it. I feel like the Cloverfield name was added to help it sell. Still a good movie, just my opinion.
+Playervid ZeroZeroFour I had just assumed the movie had a similar name. Just about every title you can think of has already been done by some book or media. There really isn't any combination of wordage that hasn't already been done. It wasn't until this video that I realized the two movies were connected.
actually I had no clue about the original when watching this movie. it made me absolutely hate the ending, because i didn't go into it expecting a action film. now with the knowledge, i feel like the movie would have been better if it wasnt correlated and without the ending, it just felt like they were trying to do too much and just added the ending because they used the title just for marketing purposes, when it wasnt really related.
JKnight1316 The ending was to make a point on the "monsters come in many forms" line. In my opinion, the director was making a statement that humans are way scarier than the monsters they create.
The most suspenseful movie I have seen in a long time. I was constantly genuinely on edge trying to figure out what's going on and what will happen next. Also great unexpected twists that don't come off forced, but really surprising on a small scale, so it feels natural.
JJ Abrams misdirected marketing is usually a let-down. For example, SPOILER, Finn from Force Awakens carried a lightsaber in the ads but didn't possess the force. Huge letdown
There was at least a point to Finn with a lightsaber being in the trailer. It leads you to expect something, but they give you hints throughout the movie that something else may happen. Then when it (Rey being the Force-sensitive one) finally does happen, you get the satisfaction of either a totally suprising reveal or one you figured out on your own without the trailer ruining it for you. I personally thought it was really clever.
You're right about the satellite connection. An envelop in the bunker shows a return address from a company named "Bold Futura", presumably his previous employer. And Bold Futura is a subsidiary of TAGRUATO CORP. Leading us to believe that his character might have had some insight into certain things: cloverfield.wikia.com/wiki/Bold_Futura
I really like 10 Cloverfield Lane but fail to see how it is really connected to the original Cloverfield. Its a really good movie and the tension and horror are quite similar but other than that I just can't see how they are connected other than the word _cloverfield_ in the title.
I think it would have been a better movie if it were set in 2008, when the first film happens. I know its not because she has a modern I-phone. Instead of the alien spaceship, they should have had the original cloverfield monster.
John Goodman is absolutely fckn terrifying in this film. Like the male equivalent of Kathy Bates in Misery.

First 27 seconds. That's what she said
FUNNYYYYYYYY!!!!!

We need movie reviews for Room, Carol and Brooklyn now!
+Matija Trifunjagic Yes
I didn't like Carol very much, Brooklyn was good I didn't like the end and Room was brilliant .
+Matija Trifunjagic That was a bit specific, seems llike you have an opinion about those already.
Please please please Chris do a 10 Cloverfield Lane EXPLAINED - would love to hear your thoughts and if 10 Cloverfield Lane is even connected to cloverfield
It is, just not directly.
The cloverfield monster was sleep under the sea. There's a lot of more stuff but I cannot put it in words. 😅😅

John Goodman deserves an Oscar for supporting actor. Or at least a nomination. Him, Ralph Fiennes (A Bigger Splash) and Ben Foster (Hell or High Water) and Daniel Radcliff (Swiss Army Man) are the best performances of the year.
NOT So Average Joe too bad probably none of them are gonna be nominated. award seasons are sometimes so disappointing
Omg I thought I was the only one that saw that letter!!
Your're not the only one, I enjoyed Cloverfield too.
Me too
Honestly the sound design for this movie is fantastic!
Close your eyes in the beginning skit and just imagine.
Was thinking th he exact same thing 😂
*the
Imagine by John Lennon?
I like that 90s anime shirt you're rocking, Chris.
I honestly found the ending to be really funny for some reason. I couldn't stop laughing, I think it's perfect.
The ending kinda ruined the movie for me. They shouldn't have included any aliens, it didn't add anything to the movie.
Why won’t Synder release his cut of this movie, crap darn it! The studio interference made this a pile of donkey butt. Please allow Synder to release his cut, so we can see 10 Mile Clover Lane in peace! Crap darn it
How is it funny?
Man i got terrified. My heart was racing and shit. Cosmic Horror Just hits me diferent i think
10 Cloverfield Lane, Zootopia, and Deadpool. Three great movies in the span of a month. I thought this time of the year was suppose to be bad???
This movie, and Room taught me that dating Scott Pilgrim WILL get you trapped in a room.
i loved this movie. i also felt like i was one of the very few people who actually liked Cloverfield. and i tried not to have any expectations going into 10 Cloverfield Lane, and i was blown away by how good it was.
i would actually love if the cloverfield "franchise" continued in this fashion of sort of..not direct sequels, but a sort of anthology set within the Cloverfield universe. each movie being different people and stories and etc.
also,i always thought the dot falling into the ocean at the end of Cloverfield WAS the monster.
Love these reviews. When Chris sees excellent movies is when you can really tell his passion shines.
just watched this movie and i would love to see chris do a more indepth review
I was obsest with cloverfield when I was 13 in 2008, I'm now 21 and I've been begging for a sequel ever since but im still really interested in seeing this movie
Turn on captions before playing this and read the first thing that comes up.
ooo i just finished watching it OMGGGG sooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+karen christy I know right? I didn't expect to be that good :)
Yeah it was Great. But I was expecting to see some giant mmknsters And I didn't see any
+karen christy loved it! But I felt like the ending could have been so much better.
VlogDiaries Yeah exactly
+vladimyr morris well that hover ship was kind of alive
"Its so huge....so huge and alive"...ok,that got a little creepy chris...
...I think Chris has an unsafe fetish for monsters statues...
Regardless of the danger outside she would rather take the chance than be safe below ground.
god damn this movie didn't have a single slow part. 10/10
0:09 Sexual harassment! >:O
hugh mungus wot
xD
Scrolled down for this soon as I heard it.
Was about to ask if any one else heard😂😂
lmao it's so big
I saw this today, and holy shit it was awesome!
John Goodmans character was so amazing! Howard was genuinely a great hero/villain!
It's connected to Cloverfield perfectly, following how the aliens are still here and Humanity is fighting back! Plus, the ending (Spoilers) signifying there'll be a sequel, possibly a chance to see the Cloverfield monster again was badass!
I'd give it an A!
Makes sense to me! I love both films so much.
Can I just say John Goodman is definitely Oscar worthy in this movie
I went into this movie knowing nothing and left with a big "wtf was that ending"
you, Sir, made me watch cloverfield again. ...at 4 AM goddamnit!
Gotta say I disliked the movie at first (watched it when I was very little) but now...I just loved it. And its pretty emotional too...
best movie I've seen in a long time

+THE ONE WHO KNOCKS OH MY GOD!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!
The last 10 minutes reminded me of War of the Worlds 2006 with Tom Cruise. which before they make it to the city in WOTW when they leave the basement and go against the tripod. Some similarities.
Did anyone notice Bradly Cooper in the movie?
+Andrew Farr hes the voice of ben on the phone
He's Mary Elizabeth Winstead's boyfriend on the cell phone at the beginning
*SPOILER!!!!!*
I read that Goodman's character used to work at Tagruato, a Japanese company and major force in the Cloverfield mythos.
Spoilers for the comics, not the movie so it doesn't really spoil much
Bossbear3 Wait...*comics*?
+GhostPlanetFilms Cloverfield actually has it's own manga series :)
+GhostPlanetFilms JJ puts the references of that company in a lot of his shows/films so i dont think is means anything. go read the trivia section of the slusho page on the clovierfield wiki
365pieman I also remember seeing the logo in the first Star Trek movie.
Hey Chris, did you spot the "SLUSHO!" neon lights at the gas station in the beginning of the movie?
+carloscream I caught that, and was like, HA, nice!
+carloscream its also KELVIN gasoline.......just like the force awakens KELVIN RIDGE, jj.'s grandpa kelvin.
I knew it I knew it I knew it I knew I saw something fall in the background in the first movie
???????
+the people's king In the first cloverfield theres a couple on a Ferris Wheel recording the view and it catches something plummeting in the water
On a beach
That was a satellite though, it's been confirmed that this movie and Cloverfield are not set in the same universe.
+SaladSnake So the "cloverfield" in the title is Bait
Chris, I'm not sure if you read about it, but apparently what Bad Robot is trying to do is establish an anthology series based around the Cloverfield brand. Kind of like a big screen, higher budget Twilight Zone. So I'm assuming we should expect more thrillers and horror films under the Cloverfield moniker in the near future. And that honestly sounds pretty darn cool to me. I've always been fond of anthologies, especially of the thriller variety.
You look like Adam Scott. You talk like him too.
if you like adam scott i reccommend paul rudds 2 days :)
JACOB KENSINGTON Thank you.
Welcome :)
JACOB KENSINGTON :)
This made me smile, i didnt know people can be nice in youtube comments :)
Mary Elizabeth WINstead!
WINE because she is whining all the time
+Dukes Videos Wine pon me?
+RP Shes very beautiful :)
Yall are creeps that leaked her nudes on fappening
Pretty sure it's WIN-stead, not WINE-stead. Don't mean to be a dick; love your reviews. Just had to chime in. Cheers, dude.
So Goodman kill dat girl in the generator room or not? He was insane right?
+Bunji Kugashira yeah
i thought that was a way of adding suspense. she's trapped with a man who's a kidnapper, but she has to overlook that because she has to stay in the bunker to survive. which makes it SO creepy when Goodman is all shaved and wearing new clothes right after the other guy is dead
Howard was gonna hit it and quit it
It´s not really known, which is good. The only problem is that it made the whole motivation of escaping based on an assumption.
damn, I didn't catch that detail.
The first clover field was amazing. Great film.
It was pretty good.
I wish all movies were kept a secret like this.
This movie is a modern classic. I never get tired of watching. And John Goodman was brilliant.
How much longer before we get to see his review of _Spider-Man 3?_
There are some more obvious connections between Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane that I'm very surprised you didn't catch on to, or at least just didn't mention. **Spoilers ahead, for anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet.**
The "apocalypse" that's happening in the movie is the aftermath of what happened in the first movie, that's probably the most obvious connection.
John Goodman's character didn't see the explosion Emit did
I think that big red light emett saw was the nuke at the end of cover field... maybe. this was the second wave of attacks.
a year later, and i think they're connected because this movie took place in another dimension or at least thats what i think it is. if you look hard enough, the cloverfield paradox does at least have some answers.
0:10 - 0:27 THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID ! :D
If you want to know the original ending here it is:
In the original script, Michelle escapes the shelter and is chased through the farmhouse by Howard, who still wants to "protect" her.
Interesting, thanks for the info!
Ik Speel Games
Wished they used this ending
Interesting, but I prefer the ending that was shown in the actual movie.
I liked Cloverfield as well. You're not alone Chris!
THIS MOVIE WAS PHENOMENAL.
it was not phenomenal...
+fncsp it wasn't a thriller ill say that lol
fncsp What he's saying is.... he didn't "think" of it at all.... :)
Brian Jones it was interesting to see the dynamics of these people being held by a psychopath but it was mostly just filler and uninteresting... Maybe you should think for yourself!
+Brian Jones Thanks man, Well I could see why it wouldn't pander to the mainstream audience but as a film enthusiast, I liked it
I really enjoyed this movie but I REALLY wish it wasn't called Cloverfield.
I think it was brilliant. Throughout the whole movie you are left to question if the name really connects.
actually I had no clue about the original when watching this movie. it made me absolutely hate the ending, because i didn't go into it expecting a action film. now with the knowledge, i feel like the movie would have been better if it wasnt correlated and without the ending, it just felt like they were trying to do too much and just added the ending because they used the title just for marketing purposes, when it wasnt really related.
JKnight1316
The ending was to make a point on the "monsters come in many forms" line.
The ending was added on and I wish they would have kept it as The Cellar.
I heard that they are gunna make cloverfield series an anthology series like a twilight zone sort of thing instead of it being like direct sequels
I just realized that I just come to this channel whenever I want to make sure movie is worth my time. Chris sold me in the first 5.
Well no, they promised Finn carrying a lightsaber and that's what we got.
it's only the first one..... and it was a twist because we assumed he was going to be the main character but he wasn't
I never realized that T.J Miller was the cameraman in the original.
Hey Chris - instantly noticed how we interpret and observe movies the same way. Glad I found your channel!
Stroke that beast.
+Lil' Miss Anime Red Riding Hood lol had to be said
It is literally the best movie I’ve seen in a long time. I rewatch it like every year
Yeah it’s really good
You're right about the satellite connection.
Instead of the alien spaceship, they should have had the original cloverfield monster.
yeaaaahhhh that opening was extremely sexual
He was helping her!!! She was stupid to try to get out. I loved this movie! It was amazing! It had major ambiance!
Sheesh Stuckmann, first Jeremy now you too. It's WIN-stead, like how it's spelt, not Wine-stead. lol
+sammyflinders I was gonna post the same thing.
Please do a spoiler review
Make no sense
