I had this about 3 years ago. 1 of my fav whiskeys of all time. Unique and on its own. Was able to snag 3 older editions from the regular single malt, when it had a different label and name - Wiseman's. Frigging awesome.
You had us when you said Peachwood lol!! We were just talking about making a trip out to their distillery…..but we will grabbing a bottle (or three lol) of this first! Great episode!!
I love that whiskey. You should go out to Sperryville if you get the chance. The very small town is right off of 211 headed up the mountain to Skyline Drive. The distillery is in an old apple packing warehouse on the edge of town. It’s a beautiful location.
You gotta get out of my head man! Another video that seems to be watching me. Went to a store here in CT this weekend who had multiple barrel picks on the shelf. I specifically asked for something with some barrel char characteristics. They did not have what I was looking for but bought some gems anyway. So you're saying I gotta drive 5 hours to VA to find what Im looking for?? Thanks again for the content!
You can make it a trip. Lol Go to Busch Gardens for your troubles since it's in Williamsburg too. Just don't drink any whiskey before getting on a roller coaster...

They have a few other ones I want to try. Definitely snatching up some bottles when I go back home next month.
