I live in Newport News, Virginia near Williamsburg and we tend to stay away from beer, alcohol, and wines created there. The HUGE exception is meade. The Silverhand Meadery in Williamsburg is exquisite!!! I highly recommend them and would love to see a video of yours for it! :)

Maybe I've missed an episode somewhere but how about trying one of the two best scotches that you can buy and are affordable strangely enough. Aberfeldy 12, or monkey shoulder.
I liked the expression, (facial cringe) on Mac's face after you watered the whiskey. Just not having a good time with it but still pulled his punch. It is good that you are branching out but the old axium persists; "If it isn't Scotch, it's crap!" (Propers to Mike Meyers.)
