Love that the 8 year 70th anniversary Wild Turkey was in your top 10. It was the best value of the year (green river full proof 1b for me as well). My bourbon group picked up 4 of the wild turkey to make sure we had some for 2025. Cheers and great review.

Nice list! Surprised nothing from Sagamore Spirits made your list. If you haven't tried them before, I suggest their 9 Year Rye ---- its EXCELLENT! I was lucky to get a bottle of the Penelope and while I wouldn't put it 3rd on my list, I do agree that its the best bottle they have ever released! I just subscribed, so I'm looking forward to your 2025 content. Cheers!
Cheers, Thomas! Thanks for the sub! I love Sagamore’s Double Oak Rye! So good! I didn’t try anything that was a new release from Sagamore in 2024! Cheers and have a great x weekend!
Nice! I met Mr. Russell at a fancy distributor event. He's a legend and such a great guy. Lots of distributor reps and suits there. Me and a buddy were seated alone chowing down on a great buffet. He asked if he could sit with us 😊. Later after talking for a while i asked him to autograph a Rarebreed giftset bottle, which he did. He also took us to the bar and took a nice wooden Wild Turkey mirtor off the wall and signed it for me. Sadly the bottle was emptied and the cork broke but I stll have that beautiful mirror🤗
Nice lineup! I’m really enjoying my Russell’s 15yr, Michters 10yr bourbon, Booker’s Reserves, J Daniels Coy Hill, Michters BS Rye, Little Book Infinite, Larceny BP C924, Barrell Ice Wine finish, Stagg 24b, Presidential Dram 8yr, and many others:) Cheers!

Hey Burt! Looks like that is an exclusive for Albertsons/Jewel Osco. Just like Flatboat is for Liquor Barn and Clark & Sheffield is for Binny’s, Kirkland BiB at Costco, ETC. Just be similar to 1792 Small Batch is my guess.
Would like to second that on checking out the Augusta video, it's really well done. If you are reading this comment, go watch that video when this one is over!
@@davidscialabba6884 it is VERY good as well. Depends on if you can afford it. Since they are all single barrels they vary greatly. But the ones I have had are very good. I pretty the Old Route 8 (115 price 🏷️) to the Buckner’s 10 but not by much
When someone spends 50 thousand plus for a sports car most say no big deal, but if they spend $300 for a whiskey what a huge waste of money- our culture is often without logic. lets pray they fix the system. i hate va abc too, and it's where i'm at. i DID get lucky twice this year though, once before they switched the system, the last announced random drop they did i picked up 2 RR15 (though at the time i couldnt afford both, so one was for a friend), and i was able to snatch 3 coy hill's (because my wife was with me, and her friend, yay christmas presents lol). so there's some hope, but with all these people creating discords and using insider info, it's extremely unlikely. i only knew about a drop where i got coy hill cause i was IN the store when they were putting it on the shelf, complete dumb luck

My favorite bottle was a Brewzle pick. It was an Old Soul they called "Hen Type". I wish I had more. It was sooooo good.

The 3rd digit of the Michter's 10 is probably a letter? Maybe a 'g' or 's' as opposed to a 5.
That would signify which batch of the year it is.
