Please pray for the special baptism of children. Let in prayers receive to pray! Pray for unaware pastors or leaders of churches that don't speak words of life! That their unawareness of doctrine or governing by God or actions for Jesus Christ not led by God or told by God to them not lead them to lead other people to wrongness of sin. Let responsibilities be governed with Jesus Christ in needs! In Jesus name we pray, amen.

A slight correction. Stephen Covey was a Christian and a practicing member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    Great sermon.

I either know or have known incredibly wealthy people with whom God has blessed tremendously. While wealth is not guaranteed as a believer, the Bible does speak of the power of diligence, saving, stewardship etc that often results in financial blessings. You can’t separate the two and say that prosperity is somehow not of God. God gives both. For some it’s the grace to endure suffering and sometimes it’s the grace to make money. The great John Wesley has been quoted as saying, “Make all you can, save all you can, give away all you can.”
I don’t for a minute subscribe to a gospel that says “everything gonna be alright.” But I do subscribe to the truth that God is willing and able to bless if we ask for it including money and health. Whether he does or not is up to him but I won’t receive because I didn’t ask.

I generally agree with you. I know wealthy people who exemplify the gospel through their incredible generosity and selfless giving. But I do think that the point of this sermon still rings true. Around 15:50 he talks about the prosperity gospel which says, “be a Christian so that all your dreams will come true.” Like yes, God may bless you in that way. But don’t become a Christian for THAT reason. It’s gonna be a lot deeper than material blessings. Just thinking out loud. I haven’t actually finished watching. 😅
