The people of God endure suffering with the hope of final victory as the inheritance of Christ pulls them ever forward.
We exist to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
I love Pastor Chandler. I listen to him faithfully. I am gonna visit the Village Church really soon.
When people are suffering we are to pray for there healing and give them hope that not only will Jesus bring us home but that healing and deliverance is available on earth. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is in us. We are to make disciples, peach the gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons. A gospel without signs and wonders is not the full gospel. We are to be like Jesus and do as he did. We need spirit filled churches working in the power of the Holy Spirit. Its always Gods will to heal we don’t have to wait to get to heaven to experience heaven, heaven is available her now on earth Be a vessel that God can use to break strongholds set people free. Jesus is King and all the glory to him!!
I write this to encourage the body of Christ. I just finished teaching a 6 week class at my home church in Pennsylvania on the exact topic of walking out the Bible in every area of our lives. The class was titled "The Christian Calling". And to listen to this sermon talking about equipping believers for the SAME EXACT THING I just taught about is amazing. God is speaking to us church. Are we listening? Across the country there are people speaking the same message using the same scripture to encourage the body to walk out what we know in a very real way to impact those around us. Let us fight this fight together, as iron sharpens iron. Be blessed.

I remember last year or more when I was planning on moving from Denver to Dallas to attend matt's church - but he publicly denounced those types of actions in his preaching.....plus, it would have put me in a hardship for awhile and quite frankly, there are no city buses that come within 2 miles of his church on Sunday mornings, sooooooo YEAH

I don't think he said. But if you look up Derrick Prince he talks extensively on that topic.
CORRECTION!! But..... That's NOT REALLY TRUE!!! When he says "in the New Testament, the word "spirit" little "s" always refers to angels, demonic ones"!!!! And.....that it NEVER refers to MAN"!!
Romans 8:16 STATES THIS TRUTH! "The Spirit (HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD) itself, beareth witness (CONFIRMS) with our "spirit" (little "s") we are the children of God"!!!!
This is HOW ONE KNOWS he has been BORN AGAIN of SPIRIT!! So, "spirit" here (little "s") refers to EACH PERSON, MAN, NOT DEMONIC ANGELS!!!!! 🤔📖🕊️🙌🙂!!
Pet hate: preachers acting like their actions are synonymous with God's. God didn't have the guy who prayed against TVC read the opening passage. Matt Chandler did. Knowing the difference is essential in addressing a God complex.
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Matt didn’t say that God made him read that passage. He gave God credit for opening Sam’s heart and bringing him to the church.
Too much emotion...moral failure usually follows...been there.
Another hypocrite pastor. It appears GOD failed him.
