Awesome ost. Regularly checking it back once a few months. Characters were amusing, boss battles awesome, and the whoe action/sound mix proved timeless for me. Composers werent afraid to make weird, over the top, music back then. Today its all about orchestra. Also, Kurt Theme II is unforgivably cut at the beginning. Its the best track.
This game was amazingly fun to test and the music was amazing. Industrial, Trans, and Elfmanesque themes. The good Doctors of Bioware gave us burned copies of the soundtrack before we went back home. It was so cold up in Canada in January and February but they did a great job of hosting us while we broke their game.
I have a copy with my CDs but it is just a white CD that has MDK2 in black sharpie. I have no plans on selling it. I like keeping mementos from projects I have worked on.

If anyone from Interplay or Bioware sees this, pls pls pls make MDK3. MDK and MDK2 are criminally underrated masterpieces, been waiting 20 years for MDK3 and i'll wait another 20 till it's released.
Not only is MDK franchise 'underrated'; its underappreciated. Yeah, difficulty-wise - people today will get turned off by the way how the game is played. But thats how games are meant to be : a challenge . If anything, I wouldn't want Bioware to touch MDK franchise considering how they've treated gamers last couple years . As of 2021, if they bother to make a direct-sequel to MDK2, it needs to stay true to the original sources . Otherwise, I'll pass.
I once translated a bunch of interviews and stage shows for the then Community Manager of EA presenting Mass Effect 2 to the press and convention goers, and he said at one point, that it was difficult for them to develop Mass Effect, because they hadn't made a shooter up to that point. I couldn't help but correct him on that point. Also, that main theme bass line is the most beautiful thing in game music.

Underrated and underappreciated franchise.
I was 8 years old when I played the first MDK and im 24 now and I now just discovered the masterpiece again what a nostagia trip.
