i just completely love the roger moore era of bond, i was a school boy at the time and he was my hero, i hated school as i was bullied alot but roger moore as bond took me on adventures where no matter how bad things got good always defeated evil.

Absolutely. One of the best Bond songs ever and it was produced by the late great Bernard Edwards. I had forgotten about that. Amazing production work! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Highly suggest anyone watching, go check out the Coachella performance of this in 2011. Dude maintained his voice 30 years later and the whole performance was really special.
I've loved this song since it came out when I was a kid. As a bass player, I've only recently learned this song. What a complete extravaganza of music on three and a half minutes! GENIUS level bass playing, in my humble opinion (I'm especially fond of the verse lines; just so much musical tension and suspense). It's now my sound check piece when I do shows with my band - such a fun song to play. Thank you John Taylor and the rest of Duran Duran for creating this masterpiece!
Me too. It brings back such good memories. I believe it was my dad’s favourite bond movie during that time because he bought the movie on video tape. I kept hearing this song on replay Reminds me of my dad
What a scorching Bond villain Christopher Walken was, and the Duran Duran score entirely appropriate choice for an ‘85 round out of the Roger Moore era. Excellent!
...y'know, back in April / May 1985, this Song was SOOOO hokey, with it's 'Art Deco' stabs, swoops n' swishes...now, It sounds AMAZING, in it's rawness, especially Simon's last note!! ..a NEON CLASSIC...
Quizás sea el mejor tema de todas las peliculas de 007 , sin duda , junto con " The living daylights " de A - HA ( 1987 ) , Goldfinger ( 1964 ) y " Goldeneye " , de Tina Turner ( 1995 )
Yes, this is one of my favorite Bond movies. I noticed there wasn't a HQ & hires version of this song out there w/associated 007 opening video, so I made one :)

This Bond movie is the epitome of the 1980s culture and that’s why so many people love it so much.
It was a great fun popcorn movie.
*This* *song* *is* *a* *actually* *timeless* *masterpiece* *.*
One of Duran Duran's best.. the screeching trumpets and distorted electric guitars were so original. They changed the sound of pop and glam rock music
♥
Probably the best James bond song ever

this is my favorite James Bond song
Still a masterpiece today. Song is simply badass!
*The best opening credit and the best theme of the franchise... Duran Duran at its peak + 007 franchise = the perfect combination...*
The best James Bond track, and one of their best tracks. Gives me chills.
i just completely love the roger moore era of bond, i was a school boy at the time and he was my hero, i hated school as i was bullied alot but roger moore as bond took me on adventures where no matter how bad things got good always defeated evil.
I was bullied a lot at school too. One time, a bully puts me to the hospital.

One the most iconic 80s songs and vids. AMAZING.
This song has Bond written ALL over it! Just has that "feel" to it. Christopher Walken, Grace Jones and a theme by Duran Duran = priceless!
Absolutely. One of the best Bond songs ever and it was produced by the late great Bernard Edwards. I had forgotten about that. Amazing production work! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Seeing this compared to the recent films makes me miss the old 007. Thanks for posting this classic, when James Bond was 007
Best Bond theme period.
Wonderful song. I was a teen in the 80's so I remember this one very well.
007 best ever...and Duran Duran best song ever🎉
Easily the best 007 theme, to this day.
1985.... i was 17... 37 years ago....

Best intro in any movie!!! love it
This song really fits the low tech, high fashion neon 80s art style of this vid. Love the 60s sound bass guitar. Goes well, with the synth horns...

The BEST villain, Christopher Walken. The BEST song and the BEST Bond ❤

😮I never thought about it done 👍
I saw this in the theater when I was 9 years old.
Id say, A View to a Kill and You Know my Name are the best Bond themes.
Remember seeing this in the movie theatre aged 15 in Yorkshire and now all these years got my ticket for their USA 🇺🇸 tour
