Brandy you did an AMAZING job on this project and video. A lot of other sailing channels are just women in bikinis and here you are taking the lead on a big project, grinding/glassing/sanding/painting/mixing like a PRO with PRO results. Keep up the amazing work!
I'm impressed... No idea why this has not been done by others.. Yours will become the benchmark for others to follow.. Put this out on RUclips as the tutorial ,, watch the likes come in.. 🎉 Galleys, cockpits, any counter areas as well.. Definitely an alternative to just painting. Where you might want a dull piece to come to life. Heck for the big money pits,, inside lockers. So light weight and a great bearrier/protection to the bulkheads. Nice move.. 😊
Brandy, your research, Beau's idea of wax paper, and your trial pieces made all the difference. They all look great! Can't wait to see it all put together! Great Job you two!
Just a little tip! When pouring from the container reverse the way you poured. It will be smoother and prevent the surges out of the bottle opening! Looking good!
We went out for a sail today about 12 hours straight. Me and my wife were talking about what kind of things we will run into and what kind of things can go wrong lol. You guys make it look easy. As you know and I have found out. A lot of people don't really understand that sailing full time is 99% pure boredom and 1% pure terror lol and the work and things breaking. Me and my wife have discovered that everything is broken..... We just ain't found it yet.
Wow! Your walls look so good. Great job Brandy. You're going to have the best looking bathroom (head, sorry) on the high seas on a boat under forty feet.
pour white as your base color, then mixed up each color separately in solo cups and drizzle the separate colors one at a time on top of the white. take the blower to move the colors around plus you can use the wood sticks to help make a design you like.
Why do I feel I have missed some episodes??? Thats is arts and crafts taken big scale. Looks really impressive and will look fantastic in the new head. Greg 🇬🇧
I've used the countertop epoxy a lot and love it. You get a perfect, glossy finish with no sanding or polishing. My biggest problem has been ultraviolet light damaging the epoxy but in the bathroom it should be perfect.
Red Guard is absolutely awesome.....I do custom bathrooms....ALL the custom showers are triple coated with red guard.....NO LEAKS in 25 years....the color change eliminates guessing if its dry.......great choice
what an awesome job you both did...the best part is that you are the only ones in the world that has it like that...your excitement about how it turned out is well deserved...congratulations to you both :) happy sailing :)
Some skills there! Your planing was excellent, maybe you need to do this as a business! Definitely better than most especially considering you have not done this before!
I love it! I have been wanting to do an epoxy pour on something, but I don't have a project. RUclips is awesome, that you can learn how to do something this cool!!! The panels are absolutely gorgeous!!! You say not to do so much at once, but I think that is better...since there were two of you to mix and pour. That is because you are new to it, and if you did a panel separately, you might do it differently...deciding that you don't like a little something or because you learned a lesson, and then your panels wouldn't match as well. They look absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to see your bathroom!
I KNEW IT!! Wellll I wasn’t 100% but as soon as you started talking about doing something cool to the bathroom I really figured it was going to be an epoxy design since you were playing with that method a few months back! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Way to go Brandy a lot of research then just do it. I love the colors and the pattern. Thank you Beau for helping Brandy's dream come true. 😁 Can't wait to see the finished product. Until next week, stay safe up north.⛵🇺🇸
We have a faux marble epoxy shower stall in our boat that we did about 6 years ago. It looks great and has held up perfectly. We also did all of our counter tops. Highly recommend this process. It does tend to yellow slightly with time.
Do you know who Natalie (Nat) on “Sailing Zephyr” is? They did this to their kitchen countertop’s and I believe they were actually at wherever “Total Boat” is located or maybe it was a dealer. Anyway, she wanted the same colors and so far did everything the same way you are, including the test run. They were helping her with the project in theirs though. This is the first shower though, it’s a great idea & it’s turned out to look very professionally done! You’re always great at these “artsy, craft” type things and now it’s going to be like getting a new Boat! What a great Job!!
Amazing guys.. Turned out so well! I've been doing epoxy pours for a while now, and the key is to cover the whole piece in your base colour, white.. And then add your colour flares and move with heat gun! Love your work. Great job!
Omg! Thank you! I am redesigning my art studio/office workspace. I want a 4'x5' work table for all kinds of things, cutting out fabric, making patterns (I design clothes), designing and building some furniture and anything art and design related, then a drawing table for drawing/painting (fine artist) that will be either 4' wide x 3'-4' deep and then a new corner desk, a new sewing table where I can easily sew my original designed clothing, and upholster furniture like the couch I want to build. I have been playing with this kind of context for the desktop, worktop, moving drawing tabletop, and sewing top. Especially with the drawing table because using wood would make it so heavy to move up and down. I want it to be able to go completely flat to expand my work table, and slant almost all the way up to work like an easel. I am planning on moving next year 3000 miles, so weight is a thing! This would make all of my studio furniture so much lighter, but also just as strong. I have been wondering what the weight of each piece would be, and now I don't have to spend a bunch of time researching. I am thinking of first creating a fiberglass layer that is strong like you did on some of yours (something I will have to learn how to do), and then creating beautiful epoxy layers over the top. Mine will be a bit thicker though. Now to figure out how to seal it so that I can easily get paint and crud off of it? Oh, in case you are wondering, I live in a 1 bedroom apartment my studio in this apartment is my living room. Don't you all want to live next door to me? Actually, I am looking for a workshop where I can do a lot of woodworking and using saws and stuff. LOL Thank you so much, you have answered so many questions for me.
Amazing! I know you can do something similar using wrinkled-up pieces of brown paper, then pouring clear epoxy over it and it comes out looking almost like leather, but I think it takes a thicker depth to work.
Hi guys, at first I didn’t really like it but I think it’s fantastic what you’ve done good on yours it is so much different than the other boat around. Keep up the good work. Love your videos. Appreciate you both Cliff from Logan city Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 from the big island 🏝️🧑🏾🦽🐨🦘

Even though it was stressful, it actually worked well to do it all at the same time because you were able to blend them together. You did a great job
Honestly, the pink-board is the greatest idea, EVER, for interior boat walls. BRILLIANT!
Thanks!! 💪
@@BeauAndBrandy Looking forward to seeing the final result!
So much teaching and so much learning…..that’s worth something. Absolutely amazing, well done. 🤗
Thanks so very much you two!! 😍

Thanks a ton! Oooh inside lockers.. I like it!
Wow, when are you going into production. Pablo Picasso is jealous!
Hehe !! Gonna need a bigger boat for that.
The two of you are always pushing yourselves and what you’ve accomplished this time. How fun. It’ll make showering all the better.
