Even with all the many diverse accomplishments you both have undertaken, I am immensely amazed and impressed with the mast R&R! Several times I have felt that some of your repair projects were beyond your scope of possibility because of limited resources, tools, experience, weather or unknown circumstances and every time you both have surprised and amazed me with your results. The mast R&R seemed simple enough at first glance, but there must have been hours of thought and plenty of sweat to both remove and reset the mast. You guys made it look far easier than I ever expected. Thumbs and fingers and toes UP!
We are so appreciative of this comment, thank you so very much. You are right, it did take A LOT, but what we learned from it was so much more. thanks again!!
That was pretty impressive! Being totally non mechanical myself I would never have believed it would work. Glad to see you made it happen. Congrats to the D&S marina for their new boat and thanks for being such gracious hosts to B&B. ♥♥♥
It's the coolest that you guys are not just going way outside the box and thriving doing it, but showing the rest of us that there are solutions that don't involve throwing tons of money at every boat problem - that stuff is priceless - don't ever change : ) As an aside, if you will paint red and white backed (touching each other every 24" or so) stripes on your block chain you'll instantly be able to tell up from down (tricks from the car mechanic retirement home)
Kole and Sere o randomly met at an air show when I was living in Maine and we had a 35ft trawler they seen our old boat archer air show few years ago when I was living in Maine this year moved to Ohio to be near family their great people
Beau looked more like Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols than Axl Rose with the bandana . Great job by everyone on putting the mast back up . Your friends Hunter looked sweet . Good luck with the new to them boat .
I’m so impressed. You’ve had to deal with so much adversity, and you’ve prevailed..looking forward so your next adventure. Thanks Beau and Brandy. PS: you are natural riggers.
Alright, love you 2, Hope to see you in a couple days at ABS. So excited b/c I have watched forever and just want to give kudos for all your hard work. As always, fair winds & be well. Cya Thursday or Friday.
Great job, did a mast job on a 30 ft with a crane, already a job, wouldn’t wanna do what you did with a 20+ furling mast though..,happy it all went well. Back to sailing..😅
Great job on the mast!!! Unfortunately blue eyed Lucy and us will not make the show. We were already in Georgia and my wife had a medical episode and we headed right back to San Antonio. We will really miss seeing you but we’ll be watching. Have a great show!!
I watchhed this five tiimes what a great videoo! It wold have been faster and a little easiier with the "X" beams an inch or two higher. Great job guys!
Sure did... and it was nice even though we spent money on the wood that its going to a good use! and really the only other thing we spent money on was the chain hoist and beaus dad will definitely make use of that in his shop!
Hi guys, wow that was fantastic job. Well done. Can’t wait to see you start sailing again and having heaps more fun. Keep up the good work. Love your videos Cliff from Logan city Queensland Australia from the big island 🧑🏾🦽🏝️🇦🇺🌏🏝🦘🐨
Good thinking outside the box, I really enjoyed this series of videos about the refit. I know that Saoirse is a Pearson, but what year and model is it, just curious. Thanks
Was affraid you would not get the mast high enough to clear the cabin top. Think I'm turning into a Bo & Brady fan. Hulda's mast is 17 metres and weights 250 kgs. Think I will go for an alternative solution.
Congratulations, D&S, on your new boat! Safe travels ❤

Hoisting a mast with a crane is hard enough , your method wasnt an easy job by any means well done guys respect !!
That was pretty impressive! Being totally non mechanical myself I would never have believed it would work. Glad to see you made it happen. Congrats to the D&S marina for their new boat and thanks for being such gracious hosts to B&B. ♥♥♥
Thanks so much! and D&S marina needs an award for the best marina on earth!

Impressed by the A-frame mast crane. And nice job on repairs.

I have faith you two can get it working and be back sailing again.
Well done. The question is not "Would you do it again?" But, "Would D&S Marina let you do it again?" They must be really patient.
thats his number one doppelganger... especially being from florida.
100% would we let them do it again! We trusted the process (and them) and their positivity is infectious!❤
18:26 "Montrosity" gave me a chuckle.
😂
You are some special woman, sailor, Brandy. Deau, you are one hell of a guy.

Thanks so much! She is a 1971 pearson 35
That diesel pushed that boat pretty quick through the water. But ya know, I drive a truck and don't like the smell of diesel either, it stinks.
👍

Flip Flops and bare feet? Not cool…

Great job everyone. I was yelling at the TV. " Get it vertical, Get it verticle" The what ifs had to be running wild in your heads.
