I think it's fantastic what you have done. There are already 100's of vids on how to set up three monitors that are identical. So this is especially helpful and inspiring. Brilliant stuff.
That's a great setup man. I've also seen one ultrawide and then only on the left regular wide monitor horizontally. Bezel was roughly on left A pillar so it was blending well 👊🫡
Nicely done. T-Slot extrusion is a wonder of DIY construction. I've used it to create my Flight setup. I'm not as savvy with 3d design as you seem to be - 3D printing is a HUGE helper. I print a lot of parts I need.

Yep, small apartment and 3 bikes - no place else to keep em. Another one is right above GF’s working desk 🤪 As for the monitors - spend enough time with them, finally dialed them in - my main monitor being so close they almost fill my peripheral sight. I measured with the new seat i am planning to get which has side protection for the head I will almost see nothing else besides monitors…
@@57uyo 3 bikes in condo myself but luckily on ground floor w some under stair storage space. I tried a “pedal hang” solution too where bike leans out at an angle (maybe what you have) but it was not as stable as I’d like. That was a day of wall repair and painting to clean up haha.
@@kevin_m yep, exactly this system but mounted with big Wurth anchors - good for 3 years now. Golds up even my DH bike solid. This one sits on too of the couch 🤪
That is why we have triple screen setups with "regular" screen so you dont have to do what you just did. 3x regular screen= 48:9 aspect ratio and all screen are the same, meaning same hz, same quality same colors etc etc. Best ultrawide is 32:9 and you get it to have a cleaner setup with less cabling that the triple screen.
If you check my channel you can see I went triples. The G9 was very hard to sell for a whole year, the portables I use for work as I travel often and they are on QR. They are for work. I used what I got and it was actually very functional. Triples ate better, yes, but this was very good too, much better than single G9 and allowed easier access. With my seat with side halos that I currently use almost all my field of visions was covered by monitors, as they are pretty near to the seat.
Great job , I don't have the room for a full 3x setup so I just run a 34" now and vr .....but I would love to try this even if this would just give me only my rear view mirrors in the correct fov it would be worth it for me .....
Thanks! I used it with 27” and it was great, even made a short video couple of months ago when I did a temporary setup before switching to 32”. With my 27” curved it was pretty good, with 34” it would be even better (I also am mostly in VR lately)!

Thanks! Asseto Corsa I set as tripple in CM and put the total resolution. In DR2, WRC and Forza Horizon games you would need window borderless and stretch the display with SRWE software

I love this man, It's what I want to do but I always imagined it with widescreens on the side and an ultra wide in the middle. Is it possible to do that? Is there a reason you chose the small screens for the sides?
Hi mate, I’ve seen multiple installs of a G9 with two 27” on the side - looks pretty good. I added small monitors because of space constraints - I have motion and very limited space thus needed something with smaller footprint.

Is the center monitor running at the lower resolution and frequency of the outer monitors? If not how did you get by this? I have triple 27 and a 49 and I was wanting to use the 27 as side monitors. That means the sides would be 1080@144hz and center would be 2k@240hz.

Hi mate - Is the samsung g9 mounted on the vesa? how has it been faring with motion? I'm thinking of getting motion later this year but been worried about the screen and if I should get a freestanding monitor stand
It was vesa + support below on two point and in the back on two extra points. There is a video somewhere in my channel showing more details when I dismantled it. It was doing OK but is heavy and I hear internals are delicate. I move to freestand 3x32 behind wheelbase and I like it a lot…

What software did you use to extend the monitors? I’m trying to do the same theming except with an odyssey Oled g9 and one 16” monitor on the right side and I can’t get it to work using NVIDIA physx

It actually is, the 15.6” have about a centimetre more space vertically in portrait mode. Use a PPI calculator to see what is the correct resolution, for me it was 864x1440 pix. The monitor adds black lines on both sides top and bottom and you get the same physical height for 1440p.
Because I could not sell the G9 and really like it. I also use it for work so it is comfortable. The portable monitors I take with me when travelling, they are on QR. Currently I exchanged one of them with G5 27” and got 180 degree coverage, you can check my latest short video for preview of what is coming ;) If I manage to get rid of the G9 plan is 27-34-27” setup, the 34 will be flat for better motion platform clearance

Hi, one is on HDMI and one on DP-to-HDMI cable (gpu has only 2xDP). Software is called SRWE for games which do not have native 3 monitor support. Will write article how to set it up soon. There are 16” 16:10 monitors on Amazon which provide even bigger FOV, but more expensive.

I changed for 3x27"1500R curved as they were taking the same space sidewise, then moved to 3x32" flats. Both were better options, but still with the two side monitors I could see both mirrors which is quite good. With this setup is easier to enter/exit rig, but immersion with 3x27 + shaft extension is much much better. If you need to place monitors behind wheelbase then 32s is needed. I also use VR, but triples is very immersive. The above combinations makes sense only if you already have the G9 and will use the portables when you travel as they are not that cheap. Definitely wouldn't go to single G9 49" any more, would consider a G9 57" as I also am very short on space and play a lot of VR...

Looking at these on Amazon and model Z1fc appears to be the 144hz model available currently but that doesn’t come with the magnetic screen cover like yours. The model that does however is a 60hz model A1. Can you confirm which model you have the A1 or the z1fc? Don’t want to order the wrong ones Thanks
As description states these monitor are used for work as I often have to travel and need more than laptop display. This is just another use for them, not everybody can have dedicated sim rig with triples (also I use the rig for home office quite often so the G9 is definitely staying)
@@EdyAG90 exactly on point! After spending some time now with this setup I really like it. I sit relatively close to monitor so my peripheral vision is almost covered by those two monitors. Also managed to set them up properly and have same colors as main one. Measured if I put a seat with additional head side supports they will cover the empty field of view and i will be seeing only monitors. Added two cheap HDMI switches and now can use monitors for work - having virtually 5 monitors is great (G9 I split 3 ways)!
I really appreciate this. I use a 48" GQ900B and swinf my othe monitor over from desk as secondary. it's a 24" vertical...the height is perfect and got me thinking. As cheap alternative use the 48 and two 24" inch verticals on sides. But not sure about how to set it up on the PC....

Custom resolution in NVidia control panel and then SRWE software to stretch. Games are in windowed borderless mode. Surround does not work in mismatch monitors.

For that you need Resize Racoon or SRWE for the games which Racoon does not work with. Both of them are pretty easy to setup.

This is G9 and it works at 1440p. All monitors are at 1440p and 120Hz

Custom resolution on the Arzopas to match the height of the G9, SRWE or Resize Racoon depending on game to resize the game windows

@@MrEyelwatch depends on the game. Some of them do not have triple support so they stretch the image - Dirt Rally 2 pictured here does just that.
I see your mixed matched isn't alot of difference, what if it was a full inch would you still be able to line up the lines well?

At what frequency are the 3 monitors running? 60hz or better?
Arzopas are 144, but g9 is 240 and cant do 144. Ended up all if them at 120Hz.

how did you set up the diplay? I am trying to set up a 48in with two 27in in portrait and I cant get it to span.
