@@breando1 They won't be playing to me. I saw every tour from 1974 and in 2014 then said never again but that doesn't mean others don't have their own reasons for seeing them. This lineup has been together longer than any other and a generation of fans have basically grew up with them, just like I did with the original lineup. As for your class comment your need to cut others down based on preference of going to a music event says more about that than anything else.
Agreed. I’ve yet to read someone say that they went and it was anything but amazing. I don’t quite know what to make of people that want to criticize others for what they enjoy. I’m just grateful to have had the opportunity to see my favorite band that I’ve never seen, and it blew me away.

With the backtrack vocals apparent and aside in some of these videos Paul and Gene not always moving around to fast kinda stumble in those boots. I hope the tour is very successful for them but I'll be amazed to see them physically make it through a 3 year tour at this point

It's funny. I see all of the people pissing and moaning about the fact that they are lip synching all or parts of the show. If you don't like it, don't go. No one is forcing you to do. Bitching about it accomplishes nothing. If others go to the show and are entertained by what they hear and see, that's what it's all about. Years ago, I took my young daughter to see Britney Spears. I wasn't impressed by the sound or the lip synching, and it definitely wasn't my choice of music, but it was a magical night for my daughter, so I consider that money and time well spent.
Sorry, but this is the same old KISS show with a few modifications to the stage, effects, and costumes. The show has lost so much energy, that I think even the most dedicated would be disappointed in this sendoff. So it ends with wigs, backing tracks, and Tommy Faker, so disappointing.

In all honesty, Gene didn't have much to lose as far as singing. He has always been limited it what he did vocally, which I'm not knocking, but Paul was definitely more versatile and it's hard to stay at that level forever.

I am certainly an Ace guy, but the energy of that song is just gone. Tommy is a fine player, but he just doesn't add any soul into that song like Ace does. Watch the '96 Brooklyn Bridge version to see and feel the energy and soul that Ace brings to this classic tune.
