I live on Maui and I ride my 1973 CB750 K3 Honda, just little pleasure rides with my wife.
Another plus here besides the weather (best weather on the planet) is most of the drivers are fairly chill.
The bike community here has a lot of V-Twin folks in it with some dirt bike riders and some crotch rocket riders. The vintage bike folks are a small but very nice bunch.
We also can get ethanol free fuel, a big plus for old bikes.
Have to really watch corrosion on older bikes.
And also, the roads are improving a lot.
I live in the city, I usually go for a midnight ride when I have a lot on my mind or i couldn't sleep. no traffic, only me being showered with city light (sorry for my bad english).
That's awesome! Riding at night is a different kind of fun
your english is poetic as fuck 🤘
Looks like you’ve all ready crashed in those jeans
Had a bike in Hawaii out of MCBH, it's fun at first, but the island is really quite small so in my opinion you're kind of shoehorned into specific rides that don't vary much. Island life just wasn't for me also. Going down the H3 toward Honolulu from Kailua/Kenoehe was always super beautiful though.
yupp, agreed
Bro, I live and ride a bike on the Isle of Man, home to the TT races. I n general the roads here are in atrocious shape, potholes, cracks, divots and you are constantly having to be aware of traffic whilst keeping an eye out for a pothole that will have you off the bike, however having said that, the roads which make up the TT race circuit are in good shape, they have to be in order to meet race standards, some of these Guys are doing 200 mph ! The weather here however is pants most of the year so we look forward to summer so the bikes can come out of hiding. Keep riding, more videos please. Mark.
I live in the Ozarks so the fun roads are pretty much endless.
I love your two lane tar "backroads" they are banked like a speedway!
Those roads are eerily similar to here in Baton Rouge
Swedish roads look about the same as well
It's a Little Different from Katy Perry's version... When I saw the video I knew I had to take a peak and I wasn't disappointed.
Appreciate this vid - interesting about the pot holes. Hubby and I are planning to rent bikes during our next stay in Honolulu. We’ll have them for just a day - any suggestions on where to go for a day trip?
The north shore where I was, specifically from halewa towards waimea is pretty rough but honestly its so beautiful I think its worth riding up the middle of the island from where you'll be and then up the north shore. My parents still talk about doing that ride when they visited and how amazing it was and they were riding my old Triumph, I'm sure your bikes will handle it better! The H3 highway is insane, I'd definitely do that down into Kaneohe and Kailua. and then you could go from there down the south east side and ride the coast all the way around to Diamond head back into Honolulu. I'm sure there's some other rides that google will suggest and honestly I didn't do a ton but that's where I'd start!
That is an awesome bike bro. I too live in hawaii Over close to Laie. Wish my wife would let me get a bike. Have wanted one since the age of 5 but she’s scared I’m gonna die on one 🤷🏻♂️ we’ll see if I can convince her 🤷🏻♂️
would love more Hawaii motovlog tours
Why isn't lane-filtering more normalized in HI? Even in Honolulu, jam-packed full of scooters (which are usually allowed to do whatever by cops), not a SINGLE rider lane-filtering. I'm honestly shocked that the islands riders haven't taken the initiative in normalizing it (just filtering constantly until it's accepted and allowed, like what happened in many European countries).
Is enforcement really really stringent and tough there? Filter and you'll get instantly stopped? Maybe a lot of motorcycle cops? When I visited I didn't see any, though. I'd expect with the large asian influence that filtering would have gotten there too, but it seems like that's not the case
Vehicle lanes are narrower than on the mainland (contiguous 48), so filtering would be sketchy if allowed. Speeding enforcement is crazy, but the cops are creatures of habit and tend to hide in the same spots. Traffic has gotten so bad on O'ahu that taking a leisurely moto ride is almost impossible, and then there's the high bike theft factor. If you don't have a place to securely lock your bike overnight, then don't get one.
Do you have any scenic routes you recommend? I'm stationed out of Hickam and am looking for fun places to ride !
Moving to honolulu for 3 years next year, I ride a 2020 Kawasaki 400 and was wondering how the bike community is in honolulu
Here in Denver CO we have a huge community, daily rides lots of events and etc.
I think that is what I'll miss the most. Is there Facebook pages, groups, Friendly riders ??
Sheesh, FLuuMP has a second channel? Nice one!
Thanks yo! Lol you're the first to find it I think
@@bartmotorcycle been watching you for a few years and the voice immediately rang a bell. Love both channels, keep up the great work! 😁
@@Causali1y Thanks! Much love man.
Is it easy to get your bike to another island? That would make for interesting riding.
I think it would cost about 100 bucks to freight it over to another Island. But yeah I'd love to ride in Kauai. It's like a jungle there!
I'm gonna get the bike over to the east side of Oahu where it's more like a rainforest for some cool footage
@@bartmotorcycle sounds great 👍. Since I don't plan on getting to Hawaii I'll be waiting to see your footage 😁
No way your from iowa lol I'm watching this from iowa lol what are the odds
Less chatter pls, more bike and wind sound
