I like twilight saga. Because I can relate to people like that. I know there not real. But that's what I've been through. It's between the good and evil. Right. Right. I'm a survivor. And a fighter. I don't think she felt good about herself and had no abilities. What is interesting Edward treated her as she was inept when she had intelligence and knew what she wanted all along.
For heavens sake she didn’t feel dead inside lol. She was merely mediocre and clumsy. As a vampire she could be amazing to herself and to others with her restraint ability and finally graceful. Read the book.
The sound of bells while she said "I love you" as mentioned in the book. That's a pretty good detail.

Breaking Dawn upped the goof factor tremendously.

To be fair I don't think Bella has any talent as far as that self control is concerned. I think this is simply due to the fact that SHE CHOSE THIS. She EXPECTED it to be hard. She EXPECTED to feel thirst for blood and all that. So she subconsciously prepared herself for this.
But Jasper isn't being fair to himself either. He, unlike Bella, did not chose to become a vampire of his own free will. He was just forced into this totally unprepared. This is why he's having trouble getting it under control.
Maybe this is how this works. You need to BELIEVE it's possibile to control it while you're still a human, and THEN transform. Maybe trying to believe it when you're already a vampire is just way, way harder.
I've always thought Bella had better control over her thirst because she was repulsed by blood as a human. Jasper on the other hand was a soldier during his human years, he could've become "blood thirsty" during his time on the battlefield hence why he struggles now

I mean Carlisle claims that special talents that vampires have really are just stronger version of what they already used to have to some degree as a human. Like Bella was already a shield as a human.
So maybe believing as a human that vampires can control their thirst for blood translates to this self control when they transform.
But yeah, Jasper being familiar with bloodshed as a human may play a part too and it could easily explain why he alone struggles so much. Maybe this is another piece of the puzzle. In which case it would be wise to avoid changing soldiers into vampires.
I like this theory a lot, but it's simply not the case. The books and movies make it a point to constantly remind us how "special" Bella is. Which makes no sense since Rosalie is an example of a person being turned into a vampire, hating it, and simply refusing to drink human blood. She literally murdered a bunch of people and didn't take a single drop. Which definitely illustrates that if you have willpower you can deal with the "thirst". But somehow Bella is made out to be some sort of exception 🤷🏻♀️
@@lalisasmr yeah that is a huge issue in the twilight series for me. I liked Bella in the books dont get me wrong (I tend to forget movie Bella exists) but I never liked how easily she dealt with everything as a vampire. I would've much preferred it if she really struggled as a vampire (maybe as a result of too much trust in Edward and her family or something) and was forced to accept that maybe being a vampire isn't as great as she thought. And I would love to see her fight for her happy ending instead of just letting it be handed to her. Anyways, thanks for coming to my Bella rant 🤣

I wish they made this scene closer to how the book described Bellas transformation. In the book Bella describes in detail how painful it was and the kind of torture she felt as the venom slowly took over her body. They had to give her morphine to subdue her pain during childbirth and to help the pain she would feel during her transition in becoming a vampire. Tho the morphine wore off quickly due to the venom burning it off. All it did was momentarily help a bit for the pain it actually made her incapable of moving as she felt her veins were on fire.
They did at the end of the last movie they showed how much pain she was in while paralyzed

Plot twist the hiker wasn't a hiker but a someone who fell off the cliff and was trying to climb back up, notice he's not wearing any hiking gear. If you think of it that way it's actually pretty savage as they left this guy by himself struggling to get back up, if my plot twist was correct.
I know!! Lol. I always thought it was weird that he just happens to be climbing up the cliff face outta nowhere... I mean, there's an OCEAN beneath him... was he running a tri-a-thalon? Did he START in the ocean and then decided - hey, here's a cliff... maybe I should climb it...
