Grindr is self harming, if you are still on Grindr you need therapy.

So appreciated this vlog and your thoughts! You’ve never appeared on my feed, but needed to hear this ‘podcast’ today. As a queer empath/discerner/dreamer from a narcissistic tribe, I could relate to everything you brought up. I have taken long social media breaks/fasts since 2020 and by this year started blocking and or hiding folks, restricting access, and they are all utterly beside themself. How dare I try to protect myself, my energy and focus on my future without others’ negative thoughts intruding, blocking, influencing in any way. Have had a love-hate relationship with Grindr for many years. It’s just impossible to use for dating these days, no respect, no actual conversations that go anywhere, flakes and no dates. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I’m from IL, it’s hard to connect with other more “awakened” empathetic, emotionally intelligent queer/gay men. We are either lone wolves, introverts/extroverts protecting our energy and selfs after years of abuse in public society/workspaces, or live across ponds from each other 😅
