#SecretINvasion #FurysPlan #FuryWasWrong
Alright, we’re four episodes into Secret Invasion, and there are way too many unanswered questions going into the final two episodes. Especially the most important question that the show sort of glossed over - why the Skrulls didn’t find a new home yet?
Nick Fury and Captain Marvel promised they will help the Skrulls find a safe haven. But something prevented them from fulfilling their promise.
For the last 3 decades, Fury used the Skrulls as his personal network of shapeshifting spies.
This was the deal, they help him protect Earth, and he will help them find a new home. But Fury didn’t keep his word. And now Gravik is making Fury, and Earth, pay for it.
And we think the Skrulls still being homeless was deliberate. Fury didn’t forget his promise, he lied to his green friends and that’s the big secret he’s been keeping all along.
And it’s not as obvious as you might think, we believe we discovered the real reason why Fury lied, and why it’s so impossible for the Skrulls to find a new home.
Back in 1995, Fury and Carol promised to help the Skulls find a new planet. They’re a displaced alien race, after losing their home.
The Skrulls were in the possession of Mar-Vell’s ship, which had light-speed capabilities.
The Skrulls left Earth along with Captain Marvel, and it looked like they were on the way to finding a new homeworld.
And yet, three decades later the Skrulls are still homeless, forced to live as refugees, hiding among humans.
Doug: So what happened to new Skrulls-land? Isn’t the universe like really big?
That’s a good question.
So before we get to Fury’s dark secret, we should start by explaining why is it’s pretty much mission impossible for the Skrulls to find a new home.
You see, long ago the Kree empire initiated the war against the Skrulls, and it lead to the destruction of their homeworld, Skrullos.
Since then the Skrulls were scattered across the universe. According to Talos, their race was reduced to about a million.
And the Kree hunted them to every corner of the universe.
So after Talos and his group obtained Mar-Vell’s ship, their first order of business was likely finding as many Skrulls as possible to keep them safe from the Kree genocide.
That must have taken a few years at the least since the Skrulls were scattered and most of them were hidden.
But apparently, the quest for the new Skrullos was aborted because everywhere the Skrulls went, they were met with violence and hate.
Doug: How come, what did they do?
Well, that’s also the Kree’s fault.
They used the most powerful weapon they had, something far more dangerous than world-destroying missiles - they initiated propaganda to frame the Skrulls as evil shapeshifters.
And we all know from our own human history how destructive such propaganda can be. It leads to racism, antisemitism, homophobia and unfortunately so much more. This allows radicals to justify religious persecutions, ethnic cleansing, genocides and holocausts.
Doug: That got dark
Yeah…. but I wish the show would lean a bit more into that since it would have created a far more compelling story.
Anyway, since the Kree are a massive empire that spans multiple star systems,
the influence of their propaganda reached countless worlds across the universe.
This created discrimination against the skrulls, and eliminated any chance they will be trusted by other civilizations.
This also led to segregation, which explains why no other aliens wanted to Skrulls living on their plants. - Кино

Nah i’m good.
It’s definitely weird to think that Captain Marvel was searching for a habitable exoplanet for the Skrulls and just couldn’t find one. In Loki, it’s stated that Classic Loki literally floated in space after Thanos’s attack and found his own habitable exoplanet, thus being able to hide out from the TVA and not make any branches. There’s some reason Fury and Carol couldn’t find a home for the Skrulls, and “I was too busy” or “I couldn’t find a good one” isn’t a good excuse.
U forget no Kree was looking for him to wage a hundreds year war
Loki is a single person, there is over millions of Skrulls
Kree hunted down. If an unhabitable planet suddenly flourish and if the found out there skrull colony in it they gonna hunted down. Don't forget the carol old squad hunted them in a random planet
If the reason they couldn't find a new planet was because of the Kree, I feel like Carol and Fury would just say so. It's not like there's any reason to keep the fact that Earth is the only safe planet for the Skrulls as a secret. If the question is "can Fury and Carol can still fulfill their promise by creating a refuge for the Skrulls on Earth" and if, like the video said, Fury thinks the answer is no, then it would be better for him to not tell that to the Skrulls and keep them as a spy network.
The planet Thanos was on in Endgame, Captain Marvel was there....the writing is trash
Gaslighting the Skrulls for 30 straight years would be a frustratingly short-sighted plan for Fury. I bet that if he held up his end up the bargain, a small contingent of Skrulls would’ve volunteered to stay behind and keep spying for him. By keeping all of the Skrulls on Earth and having no intention of helping them, it’s pretty much guaranteed to blow up in his face and endanger the whole planet at some point down the road.
His plan didn't involve the entire skrull population. He was surprised and upset that Talos called everyone here.
@@Madillusionistthat's a good point. It wasn't his plan to bring the entire species here. He didn't want that headache of bodychangers
Even Fury was didn't know there was a million, if he still had the same count of skrulls in that camp at that time and keep track of them? Fury would have smoked them if he wanted to
I agree with you. Fury’s plan of enslaving by manipulation is not a good plan. He is not a hero or a leader, but a timid spy, which ironically gives this show depth and tastefulness.
I am so confused why doesn't Fury just send them to Thanos's Garden planet? Captain Marvel even said when she did her recon of the planet in Endgame there's no life forms there but Thanos, Well Thor took Thanos's advice and he aimed for the head. So problem solved in theory right?
This is a perfect solution.
Do you think if millions of humans are placed on a rouge planet without any resources.juat only farm land they will survive?
I’ve been saying this the whole series
They will be easy Kree targets if they live in an inhabited planet rather than disguising as another species. That has been the biggest problem with Skrulls. Since they're hunted by Krees, they really have no choice but to be a parasite in other planets just for the sake of keeping themselves alive.
It's a big plot hole...that can be sewn shut by a mere couple lines of dialogue or a short speech.
Garden of Eden planet set aside to be Thanos' retirement plan? The Kree conquered it or blew it up in revenge...the Xandarians took it as reparations for what Thanos did to Xandar to get the Power Stone...Emperor Drogge took it and his colony is based there but it's all religious zealots that not even Gravik wants to deal with...the Skrulls can't survive there because of some reason like a native plant or microbe that makes Skrulls sick...
The fact that the line delivery came from Carol Danvers about no satellites, or intelligent life on Thanos' retirement planet is insane. I get it. Everything has a plot hole or they can explain it eventually but that’s nuts. I completely forgot about that.
How strange, it's a relatively small plot hole but the irony of who said it turns it into a huge plot hole, lol.
It definitely backs up the argument that Fury didn’t actually care about holding up his end of the deal. If they’re trying to get us to see just how much of an asshole Fury, they’re doing a REALLY good job at it
Why couldn't the Skrulls shift into New Asgard ? Didn't Korg say that Asgard could be a haven for all the creatures from around the world at the end of Ragnarok ? Granted, he was talking about the planet, but that could easily mean NA as well.
Counterpoint, maybe The Skrulls were a rejected by other races because before the Kree almost wiped them out, the Skrulls were the universal scourge. It's not so much "Kree disinformation" framed the Skrulls as 'evil', as much as the Skrull's reputation made them hated.
That’s exactly right. Skrulls have been bad news for a long time.
I have a feeling this is what the council member suggested when she meant that they were "too willing for war". It's not about Kree at all, it's about their own bad reputation that's been keeping them from adapting in any place to call it a home. It's probably the direction the MCU might be headed because of all the hints that have been given by Talos and a few others.
@@dybiosol Yeah, it might literally have been the case that the Kree were simply the first one capable of stopping the Skrulls, who previously had bulldozed over their neighbours. One of the council members did explicitly state that the Skrulls had been "too willing to wage war" in the past. If they had been the agressors before, it makes sense that other species don't want them living near them, out of concern of a repeat.
@@robert-janthuis9927as we are witnessing right now. The Skrulls have a side to them that make them like Humans. Always ready to wage war to takeover territory
THANK YOU. someone with sense
If this is true, then Talos really needs a hug. Guy was all out in believing and giving to humanity in hopes that both species can live together. Talos is just too pure for this world.
Fury definitely not showing all is cards. I hear ppl complaining about the show on how it's not showing this or not telling us that... But I think there's a reason for that. Why would Marvel show us everything about this Invasion in one series? It would make sense to me to play the long game with this show. Fury was definitely cooking something for 30 + plus... Trust that
💯🔥🎯💯🔥🎯
Ppl like Ryan forget that this is the first stage of Secret Invasion
The entire Skrull takeover is pretty shortsighted to begin with. Even if the Skrulls succeeded in taking over the earth, i find it hard to believe that some alien group or humans wouldnt just come along and destroy the planet just like the Kree.
You're telling me that the new Cap and Bucky weren't notified that the convoy was being attacked? There's no way even, especially with the bombings didn't set them off either? Like he's literally the new cap, he should have the presidents number on dial
This was literally the plot of the Kree-Skrull War in the comics. The Kree come to Earth and warn us either we kill all our Skrulls or they'll blow up the planet.
Over the years it became easier to scare people with Manchurian Candidate stuff more than Space Nazis, so we just stopped talking about how evil the Kree are and the Skrulls became the boogeyman.
Also doesn't help that Bendis turns them into religious fanatic refugees in Secret Invasion, which is... not a great look.
@@sleepyjo9340he literally just became cap and not officially either
@@sleepyjo9340You do realise that Rhodey essentially manages the POTUS' Secret Service now. He basically used the portable comms to tell Gravik the exact convoy where the President was which means all comms were jammed and isolated to avoid any immediate contact with White House. This is because of Ritson's confidence in Rhodey since he's served as War Machine.
Add to that, the convoy was attacked on the outskirts beyond anywhere near the city. Fury is also usually the first point of contact for all "Avengers". If Fury doesn't notify them or the media first, the chances of any superhero knowing about it immediately was virtually nil.
That's probably another point that was considered by Nick. If Skrulls lived as shapeshifted humans, Kree wouldn't know about it and from a distance they would assume there are no Skrulls on Earth. Since they are refugees being actively hunted, it's better for them to stay permanently hidden as much as possible to avoid setting off the Kree radar on them again.
Personally I think Marvel just didn't plan out Skrulls during the first two phases and they're just making shit up as they go along and hoping it makes sense retroactively.
So why did Fury never mention finding a new homeworld during the events of the first two Avengers movies? Because that hadn't been written yet. That's the danger with prequel movies like Captain Marvel.
Is there a reason the Skrulls couldn't just colonize Mars? They could just terraform the planet without having to worry about the additional radiation from the lack of an atmosphere, and they would have a home in close proximity to Earth where Fury could ask them for help when needed.
They don't want a war with DC shapeshifters...[Martians] 😂😂
Great point 🤔🤔🤔
Perhaps because the teraforming process would take too long or the technology doesn't exist in the MCU
Good point! You would even need to terraform Mars to do that. It would solve a lot of problems.
You trippin! Secret Invasion is the best MCU show since Falon and Winter 🔥🔥🔥 More of this Marvel 🔥💯🔥💯
There are some easy solutions here:
- They could have been given "The Garden" planet at Thanos was on at the beginning of Endgame. Captain Marvel found no other forms of life there other than Thanos when she did recon.
- They don't even need Captain Marvel to really look for one. Wong, Strange, and the wizards could use their skills to look for a habitable planet from right here on Earth. They're able to see out into the galaxy, I assume, correct?
- Considering that Fury was able to live in space for a number of years thanks to his satellite, they could set up a space station/dome city on a planet in this solar system that is habitable as a temporary solution until they find a permanent planet. The Mars Skrull colony. Get Wakanda the pitch to make it out of Vibranium. Considering how much money Fury saved from not having to pay spies because he was using the Skrulls for 30 years, I would think funding would not be a problem.
For real, like just colonize the moon at this point?
The Harvest has just revealed Fury's evil plan and it's worse. Fury kept the Skrulls because of their body's potential to adapt. I wonder why the Harvest is just a single vial so I realized that it's already a refined mixture of genes that Fury got from a super skrull he made. After the Battle of Earth, Fury had skrulls collecting genes then he started to work on a being with all these genes, a super skrull. That is why Fury said Gravik got the idea of Super Skrulls from The Harvest. It proved effective but something went wrong so the skrull had to be killed and the genes harvested. Fury's plan for episode 6 is to give Gravik the genes so he can refine it some more, adding 4 more abilities. Devious!
He probably conceived the idea during Tony's funeral as he was standing behind all the heroes he knows would die eventually. He needed one being that can do it all and he realized that only the skrulls have that fluid physiology that might eventually let them adapt those power too. Fury had always been devious because he needed to be. The Avengers Initiative, Project Insight, and now the super skrull project - Fury is escalating the weapons he needs to have at his disposal.
Rhodes being a Skrull isn’t as shocking or important as the whereabouts of Rhodes and when was he taken.
The skrulls are depicted as faster and stronger and equally as intelligent as humans. They developed technology to be able to scan brains and memories. They’ve managed to replicate super powers and create super skull in no time, but somehow they would be subservient to Nick fury. that makes no sense With 1 million of them they could’ve built their own spaceship and gone looking for their own homes even pretending to look like human space travelers. I understand that Tayloes is indebted to Nick fury but there’s no way the rest of the population would voluntarily enslave themselves, and if they were going to be super spies then Disney wasted all of their talents. Look at what mystique can do as a single Shapeshifter. Wouldn’t the half million skrulls who were on earth after the snap have come to the aid of the avengers if they were really loyal to fury? what so frustrating about this series is the lack of imagination when there is so much opportunity with these actors in this premise.
I think the promise to look for a home was even more difficult than you described. If a world was perfect for it to have life inhabit it, then it seems like it would also be a perfect place for life to have grown there so any place that is built for life would have at least had life at some point so that another narrowing factor, then you'd have to make considerations like the ones you pointed out but also some of the planets that had life but maybe not intelligent may still be too dangerous because of the kind of unintelligent life. I think this was a really tall expectation and I think that Fury could have looked harder but I also think that he could have done nothing but look this whole time and still not have found a place, 30 years for the search of a new home in space is just not that much time. Even with the tech they have. If that engine could go the speed of light it would still take several earth years to get to different places.
They have a planet. Thanos retired to a planet that could sustain life but had no other occupants than himself. Carol Danvers visited this planet so she knows where it is. Thor killed Thanos, thus making it unoccupied.
@@anthonyviera7590 And that planet need to be out of reach by the Kree Empire.
THANKS for this, Doug and Ryan!!!!
It's videos like this that honestly gave be marvel fatigue. Like this is SUCH AN EXCELLENT AND AMAZING IDEA! and... it's a fan theory. The MCU has so much potential for awesome and complex stories but so many of the stories are just... kinda limp. It makes me sad. But I will ALWAYS watch these fans theories and videos. EXCELLENT ideas Screencrush!
I truly think Fury did not realize how difficult it would be. Also, because of the benefit he was receiving, it simply was something he did not prioritize. He took them for granted and did let them down in the end.
Exactly. How could he know how difficult it would be for Danvers to find a planet for them? It's not like he has a map of all the inhabited planets and galaxies out there with a breakdown of their safety levels of compatibility levels. I really don't know how Fury could even contribute much of anything toward the search other than contact with Danvers. And then he kept benefiting so much, it would be hard to let that go.
Seems the Krees are far more formidable. So what happened to the Krees?
@@edwinwee267 They are still out there. Their general will be in the upcoming movie "The Marvels".
The Skrulls have found a new home. It's been obvious all along & this is a long term story being told that will lead to Secret Invasion. It also explains WHY you don't see certain Avengers or superheroes in general. They've already infiltrated. They're stronger, smarter, & are steps ahead of Fury. It's right there!
Imagine how many superheroes may have died in the battle in endgame. The skrulls may have easily replaced them before fury could intervene
Yeah, there are a number of powerless heroes: Falcon, wasp, ant man, Bucky, Dora malage. Is that it? Well, I guess I understand why this secret invasion isn’t more like the comics. There just isn’t enough heroes for them to replace.
@@kritichaplot5025o one died except for the ones on the screen why would kill off any named hero offscreen use ur brain they clearly didn’t think this far back
@@pratiya2132 so we’re to believe that only 1 person died in that huge battle?
I definitely think there are 2 Furys at play in this series. A skrull Fury and the real Fury. How it plays out is anyone’s guess. But my thought is they kill the skrull Fury thinking it’s the real one while the real one has been maintaining another plot this whole time and is the one that ends up in the Marvels.
I think that Talos' wife is playing a Fury skrull - she's gone "undercover" before as Hill in Far From Home so knows how to act like a secret agent. Otherwise it would be weird to just write her out of the show, especially when they cast her human form in the flashbacks.
If the High Evolutionary (as seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3) can create a second Earth for his created species, it shouldn't be that hard to either find or create a suitable planet for the Skrulls.
yep. This is the weakest excuse ever just to undo what they did in Captain Marvel 1 and make skrulls the bad guys.
You downplay the power and scope of the High Evolutionary and his Engine. He is incredibly powerful and resourceful.
And likely one of the problems Marvel has in finding a new home. You don't want to give The H.E. a new toy to play with.
How do we know the Kree wouldn’t have found the Skrulls on their new planet. Earth gave them a place to lay low.
Great point
the krill already know they are on Earth, It's probably the most famous planet in the universe by now. the only reason they can lay low there is because captain Marvel is protecting them, shouldn't they be even more scared of what she(and everyone interested on Earth) might do after they trigger a nuclear war?
In season finale post credit scene, Fury will use T.A.H.I.T.I., the Centipede project and Dr. Cho's U-GIN research to change Hill and Talos into Deathlok cyborgs to continue his battle against Gravik and the Super Skrulls.
I like the way you think.
Always professional and entertaining!!!
What If? Fury and Carol actually found a suitable planet, but before they could relay the details back to the Skrulls, Galactus devoured the planet... Thus introducing Galactus and Silver Surfer into the MCU....
I think Fury is a skrull, intentionally. This Fury & the one from the upcoming Marvel's looks very different, not like someone who is getting caught up with age.
I thought about Captain Marvel 2 being a prequel to Secret Invasion and Fury could be back on Earth undercover 🙉 could that work timeline-wise?
wasn't there a mention of a new skrullos under a emperor being another major population of skrulls where it becomes the question of why not join with those skrulls
How do you locate a sect of aliens (skrulls) that do not want to be found ?
Everyone says that Fury isn’t the same person since the blip. Perhaps the Fury that came back to earth is a Skrull that is working with Gravik who wants to take over the earth and settle his people on the planet. Perhaps the real Fury is either still on SABER or was kidnapped by the Skrulls and is in an undisclosed location.
What if the Skrulls were sort of the reason Tiamut was about to emerge ?
I don't know I think something else is happening here. I am sure plenty of Skrull's would have been willing to stay on Earth and work for Fury either willingly, or as a trade off for a new home for the rest. There's a major twist coming, and I think Fury isn't who we all think he is. I also find it odd they Skrull Rhodey wanted his DNA. Is it possible Fury got that cat's DNA in him when it scratched him? I'm just trying to think outside the box.
I didn't saw the entire show yet. But what I can deduce on both sides so far is the following :
1.Nick fury is a man that knows how to keep his words in his own unique way as illustrated in the video (thanks for the effort BTW). However, the skrulls, even after 30 years of dealing with them, remains to be an alien species that needs to be monitored, guided and at some points, ruled for the greater good, nick knew that quite well and he managed to make very good use of them but also, he didn't forgot their dangerous ambitions and he knew that these aliens could be a clear and present danger to earth sooner than later. So, he had to make sure that they are under guidance long enough for him and Carol to at least try to find them a suitable planet, however, the events that followed the captain marvel and avengers endgame movies did not made any space for executing that promise (both key characters were not existed much to think of that matter).
2.The skrulls happens to be known for their deep belief (according to an ancient prophecy) that they will be inhabiting a blue planet after their own demise caused by one of their own, apparently. That did happened, and now, they are executing the prophecy considering earth as the blue planet, and they meant to proceed to the very end relying on a blurry fact that fury lied to them, apparently, no one stopped for a moment and asked why fury or carol did not perform their promise and tried to ask the key characters in person. But they could be abit right to act the way we saw in the show, they are hunted till the very time frame of the show either by the kree empire or by others (space bounty hunters, other space empires, etc) which they caused trouble on their homethrones, which means they do fully understand that their own existence is futile and could end in a giffy, so they resorted to the alternative 2 solutions (either fury does what he promises and brings a new planet for settling down.... Or earth becomes the new blue prophesied planet forever, By any means necessary). At least that s my opinion.
If Fury has gone off the rails like Ryan has suggested, he's going to have a serious change of heart between now and the events of The Marvels.
I would like to point out that at no point did Carole say the planet Thanos was on contained no other sentient species - just that it didn’t have any type of military presence. No one said Thanos was there by himself
Now that Emilia Clarks character is a super Skrull, she can join the avengers and make the skrulls look like good aliens. I really want her character to join a team and stick around the mcu for a time. Maybe she will be in the marvels or eternals. She is too big of an actress to remain on Disney plus. Give her a big role Kevin fiege
They holding fury to his promise like he hasn't been dealing with catastrophe after catastrophe
The key is Prescod. Mariah Hills death clouded everyone’s minds with her shock death. The key is Prescod. Resurrection.
I'm only curious if at any point did Thanos look on the Skrull homeworld for the infinity stones 🤔 And if he did, did he also wipe out 50% of their population; a decision and outcome that left the Skrull at a disadvantage once the Kree Skrull war began....
So I don't get the premise as to how Fury would ever find the Skrulls a new home... In 1996 extra terrestrial planets were theorized but not confirmed. The Skrulls were a super advanced space fairing race while we're comparatively primitive. The whole premise of helping them find a home makes no sense at all....
What
So true, if anything, they should be way angrier at Captain Marvel instead of Fury
Those GoT clips still bring bad memories
Fury has always been on the line between a villain or hero. His motivation to protect the Earth drove him to do some pretty messed up things like project insight. I actually love the idea that Fury didn’t follow through with the scroll home. It’s almost like a Scotts tots situation. I think Fury intended to help him find a home, but he kept kicking the can down the road because he needed them and now the scrolls are losing patience, or in some cases have lost patience.
Been pounding the table for this since episode 1
Interesting ideas. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this show.
I think this show illuminate the limit of human to human empathy. Fury is a Black American who has experienced prejudices, discrimination and racism. He knows what it means to navigate the world having the constantly negotiate how much of his true self he’d show in a given situation. Although he has had those experiences, and has befriends skulls, and was even married to one, he still cannot fully grasp the weight of the plight skrulls face.
It not him as you just said, he married one! ☝🏾 is human that cannot get along period.
@@delmarfrazier2727 yeah he married one, but neither of her could fully be themselves in that marriage. And doubted that they could be transparent and still be loved. That’s what the episode “Beloved” was about - at least partly.
Gravik can't be the only one in charge, he's a pawn...there had to have been someone else pulling the strings because Fury met his wife 20-30 years ago when the skrulls first got there and gravik was just a kid then, right? Just crossed my mind lol...
I firmly believe that the Fury we see in Secret Invasion is an LMD. It would be awesome to see the chronicom LMD of Coulson at sword that would be EPIC
Thanks, been wresting with this question all week. I hope we get some satisfying answers Wednesday. Last week's answer to "is Rhodey a Skrull" was not too satisfying.
nice video
Great analysis, very similar to what the Empire did to the Noghri in Star Wars' Thrawn trilogy
That dog is too funny 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
killed it!
Legendary Turbo Man reference 🤘🏼
I would love to see a skrull and brotherhood of evil mutant team up
“Where would we put them?”
The state I live in is the 5th largest state (land size) and have 4 times less the amount of people that live in just NYC. Our largest city, Albuquerque, has just over 560K people so I’m sure we would have room for the Skrulls.
Yeah, 1 million sounds like a lot but it's really just a sizeable city. I feel like they could settle in Canada, put up a Wakandan like shield, and be fine
I feel like we are missing something about the skrulls home world/reason they were demonized by kree. Like the elder said, " we were too willing to wage war", and maybe their emperor declared war first, or blew up the plant to unite the skrulls, who knows. And if Fury wanted to keep the skrulls, where has Carol been? She suddenly agreed to NOT look for a home for them because Fury asked? She doesnt tend to do things because others force her to, she does things because they are the right thing to do. Marvel tends to surprise us by omission. Or.. Nick Fury sucks..
Does anyone else think that the Secret Invasion story arc would have been better as Stage 4. I just think that The Avengers vs The Skrulls would have been better than The Kang Dynasty for now.
It's obvious Captain Marvel did find Talos a home.. Coruscsant where he became a high ranking officer in the empire 😂
What do you think of the show?
Eh
I am enjoying it
Trash? 🤔🗑
i think its good i like it so far
It's been fun to try and figure out what's going to happen.
This video has given me a lot to think about😯
Skrulls: you have failed our race now you will pay.
Fury I have hawkeye
Maybe Monica is upset with Carol because she didn’t keep her promise to Gaiai
The amount of relevant Marvel clips to this video is astounding 😂
I think that Thanos Retirement planet is perfect for the skrulls, on top of that it would be easier to keep tabs on all skrulls being on another planet… but then again if that were even an option then there wont be any secret invasion. 😅 honestly the new Phases of MCU seems confusing and very unorganized. It seems that after endgame everything seemed unplanned. Plus with the elimination of the bigfan favorites (tony, steve, natasha…) it seems that there just isnt any bigfactor superhero like IRonman that was able to carry the MCU to the direction it had. I just hope that Kevin F. has something up his sleeve and make the fans’ attention glued to the MCU and not omit the same mistakes as what happened to DC that everything is all over the place…
This 45 minute speculation video is better than all 6 hours of Secret Invasion that have aired thus far.
Them being immune to radiation would be a huge tool for mankind
Maybe Doctor Strange can find them a new home? Maybe a home in another dimention so they're safe from the kree?
Wait a minute... how do the Kree detect the Skrulls? -- If they were being hunted across the universe, how did the Kree detect them? -- This generation of Hollywood leaves so much to be desired... so many holes in the plot.
Also, why didn't they hunt them on earth? At that point it was just Captain Marvel protecting them, and she can't be everywhere at once.
Thinking about various possibilities on the show is better than the actual show
Bigger theory: Fury knows about other Earths and incursions. Wants all hands on deck for any impending incursion/secret wars.
Skrulls vs Avengers vs mutants vs Eternals vs FF4 vs Inhumans BRING IT ON!
im guessing we are gonna see a big admission moment for fury. In the comics, the kree skrull war was ambiguous in how it all started, and im betting that fury learned a lot about how skrullos fell, and talos involvement in that, which may be why he asked about it earlier in the series. The skrull are deceptive, and sneaky, and fury is scared of a race with that kinda power. A race with no home, will invade anywhere they go, that kinda thing. He kept them away from a new home because he wanted to protect us from them.
7:40. Insert Ben Mendelson variant from Rogue One.
12:58. Ben MendelSkrull.
But why was Fury in space for so long, and why is he back in space with Monica in Marvels?? I think there’s a bigger secret than he just didn’t want to keep his promise…
Hello I have been Loving the show and These videos I have 1 question could it be that Fury isn’t Fury But a scroll send down by Fury? And for the heck of it could this show be feud for the storyline of the Marvels? So questions like mine and yours won’t be answered until the movie
Also, I think it is possible that the skrull started the war between them and Kree. I don’t think the kree is an brainless plot device that is always evil. Also skrull is an race of shape shifter. In fact the series really show they have an real skill in infiltration and have technology that aid in doing the thing kree supposedly accuse them of……so, maybe the kree have some point. I feel like the show didn’t really address that. This is not the same as another tribe of people facing prosecution….they can really go colony and Native American in earthlings.
There are always two sides to a story.
Why is a spacefaring race of shapeshifters relying on earthlings to find them a planet in the first place?
Very good theory
Does Fury know about Thanos garden ? He was dusted when that happened and Scott lang was in the quantum world it's possible that nobody shared that info
carol sure knows about it though
@@mon_nobi yeah but she hasn't been on earth since end game
But she also made the promise to the Skrulls, it would be an easy enough thing to update Talos on and get them moved during the blip years
@@silver9wolf6 exactly. I assume the show will at some point address why Fury did not keep his promise, but until they address why Carol has also been totally absent from (and seemingly absolved from) assisting with the skrull relocation, then it is a big plot hole or big character disservice
Maybe Fury should now just tell Kree that Scrolls are here lol
before this show i had just assumed that the skrulls had found a new planet by now. But I also thought talos was still pretending to be Fury so I think i was a little out of the loop on this whole plotline
There is one thing I don't think anyone has brought up and that's the Chituari they are shape shifters in the comics and brought extremis and are basically the Skrulls I'm not sure if it's ever been fully worked out in the comics
Thanos' retirement world isn't described as empty, but rather it apparently has nothing of a sufficiently developed technological nature to have been any kind of worry to him. There is no reason why this world, too, couldn't have intelligent life.
And the argument for Carol going along with a scheme like the one you posit from Fury (or being completely taken in by him) wasn't very well supported.
And at the end of episode 5 who was Fury talking to on the phone?
Damn Talos was shape shifting across all Galaxies. He was In Rouge one
I figured out where the bangles came from. After a rewatch of captain marvel. When carol makes transmitter from the radio shack stuff the one kree chick says she's been to C-53 once and it was a shit hole.Thats how the blue arm was found near the bangles
Carol's got some 'splaining to do in The Marvels. Plus hard feelings from Monica to boot.
But Carol WAS able to find a floating, non-powered spaceship that just happened to have Tony Stark in it.
Could you imagine the reincarnation scam the Skrulls could start all over the planet?
I think the Skrulls should all live on Earth as cows.
Cmon Person !! When Doug is More Serious than Hooman 😻😹❤🔥
Million Skrulls on Earth. There's another colony out there.
captain america did tell fury to screw the compartmentalization! Cap also said project insight is a total waste saying "by handing on the gun to everyone and they call it protection? This isn't freedom this is fear" fury never listened but still he really wanted to clean up his mess on his own way and that's what secret invasion is all about!
Oh no. They got Ryan. 10:31
I've grown to love the dog😂❤
Super Skrulls make things complicated. Regular skrulls can co-exist with humans. But again, super-skrulls
Here's the thing, the Skrulls took off in a spaceship with light speed travel, that distance travelled ( which is unknown ) takes time, we don't know how far off into space they may have gone, for them it's but an instant of time but for everyone else, it's relative. Fury isn't lying, the realities of science just suck for story telling sometimes.
I'm still stuck on Rhoads ,,, why didn't he shift back when he was shot out of the sky in CW? When did he get converted?
I heard a theory that Rhodey actually died there and a skrull took his place then. Wouldn't make a lot of sense with his strength in Endgame though
Yvette were only 19 Skulls who helped Fury.
The 2 million showed up while Fury was snapped, or after he was off world.
Whats the difference if mar-vells ship and for example the ship of the guardians of the galaxy? Doesnt the guardians ship also fly with almost lightspeed? Or whats with those hexagon space portals?
