Looking forward to some easy cooking videos. You may remember I’m a dab hand at mincemeat roll😂 In desperation for some homemade cake I bought a packet of cake mix from Tesco. Wrights baking ginger cake mix. £2.60. Just add water and oil. On Wrights website it shows how you can adapt the cake. I added some stem ginger. Have to say I was very impressed. Himself thinks I made it from scratch. Other flavour cake mixes available. Will try the orange one next. Just a thought for a future video for you to show us non bakers a way to make a cake. Are you throwing your hands up in horror 😂. Understand if it’s not a good idea. Hope you are improving day by day. Missing you Lynn. Cx❤

@@chrissiematthews7988 Chrissie, I’ve used them myself many times in the past, they are a godsend if you are in a rush, or can’t be bothered with all the ingredients, and yes it’s a very good idea to do a video on cake box deliciousness lol, I’ll be writing that one down for a future video ❤️❤️❤️

Lets hope the New Year brings good health for everyone. I am looking to do a new venture soon will keep you updated. Eating healthily and exercising is always a good thing it may not stop you getting sick but it makes it so much milder when you do. Take care lovely lady.

You can look it up , I had shingles a few years ago ,& I’m sure I had a jab, but I’m going to check it out .

I don’t even know if it’s a 1 time jab, or yearly etc, but I do know I can’t have it till I’m 70 on the NHS…. Hi my beautiful friend, Had you on my mind this morning and wanted to say hi and hope that you are still on the mend. Still keeping my fingers and toes and eyes crossed that you've been through the worst of it all and that there will be no permanent nerve damage. Though, with my eyes crossed, I keep running into things. It's 22 degrees here this morning and I just want to stay under the covers and not move. I have to go to the post office but will wait till tomorrow as I'm not getting out today for sure. I like the cold weather, but not this cold. I did have a little 🤬🤬🤬🤭 when you were telling us about all the back and forth to the hospital, thats awful I'm sure you were exhausted and stressed out. Its great to see you 🤗 and you really look fab even though you've been so poorly. My hubby got the second of his shingles vaccine yesterday, his health centre offered it to him (he's 60) because he has rheumatoid arthritis and is on the immune suppressant drug Methotrexate

New subscriber. I don’t usually comment, I just like to watch but had to say how sorry I am you’ve had such a terrible time since before Christmas. At 71 myself I can only imagine how rough you felt. Illness takes so much more out of us when we’re ‘older’ 🫤 and I really wish you 100% better very soon.

Hello lovely Lynn,so happy you are really on the mend this time!😮.Great to see you again and as always looking forward to your next video.My new year’s intension,is to walk ten thousand steps a day ,with Sunday off.So far so good,I was already doing between six and eight thousand a day so have just up it a bit .Also started Slimming World,last Feb lost three stone another twelve pounds to lose now.All hard work but so so worth it going into Spring feeling so much better.Love and Happiness to all your family xx
Wow Kim, how good is that, I struggle to lose 3lb never mind 3 stone, you should be very proud of yourself, that’s an amazing achievement, and walking is such a good exercise to do.
