Hi Lynn, so good to see you smiling and giving us that little chuckle again...puts a smile on my face every time 😁 I decided to stop buying loads of clothes when I took early retirement at 60 a couple of years ago....I had to, couldnt afford to keep spending when I wasnt working 🤭 Anyway, I dont miss it tbh. Absolutely Angela, I couldn’t agree more, not only that, Temu are a selling platform, they don’t manufacture anything at all just like Amazon, but as you say most of our goods are from China anyway ❤️❤️❤️

Those sweater vests were popular in the ‘80s and I had several,loved them,I like them with blouses with some sort of a neck detail.I would run some of that thread like elastic through the bottom of the unfinished one because that sort of hem pulls out,and looks baggy with time.Though I’ve had mild shingles,my doctor seems very reluctant to give me the vaccine,no idea why.Good to see you looking better.
Yes Janet, I had some myself, with baggy pants lol in fact I had some in the late 60s, my teenage years, very popular with mods. If it starts to bag I’ll do that thank you. Well I just hope you never get them again, so take care sweet lady ❤️❤️❤️

I got my shingles jab today and the nurse said its now over 65 that are getting it now but there is a backlog so you may get called to get yours.
I love a gadget too. Used to be a standing joke at work before I retired when I j came in with something. Tomato corer, tomato knife, oh loads. ❤❤

@@Nanna-M Oh goodness did you 😂😜🤣. To be honest it's been a must for me to make sure my house is in order with everything as you know my age and Brian's situation, it enables me to sleep. The a-z folders are really useful and the appointment section I check this time of year and then make appointments or write reminders in my file o fax. I've done a little blue book which I keep in the safe with how do the savings, do a bank transfer and it contains all the passcodes etc. We've just sorted and paid for our funerals and are in the process of updating our Will. Have really knuckled down with everything, even using the banking app now, whoop, whoop. Like the clothes it's been a marathon not a sprint but feel as though I'm there now which feels amazing. I have lists for everything on my memory stick as I am away a lot and as you know still have grandchildren to spoil 🥰. I also do everything Julie suggested although I have containers in my bedside cabinet for hand cream etc. just a personal choice as I only like my light and Alexa on show. You look lovely considering what your going through. I had the vaccine when I was seventy on the NHS which of course is ridiculous because Brian got it in his sixties like you which was horrendous even though he was already taking Gabapentine which must of been a help. Can't wait to see your vlogs, just love them, you're a natural xx

Yay…..your back, so good to see you doing the videos again. Good haul from Temu, I loved the little gadget shaker….perfect. I haven’t tried Temu, I’ve bought off Shein though which is similar and I’ve found their knitwear to be really good for the price. Lynn…..I had to chuckle to myself……you’re saying you’re not going to buy so many clothes and you’ve bought three waistcoats😂…..that’s my girl😆. Great to see you back Lynn and you look well. I need to get back on track with my healthy diet or I wont meet the BMI to have a knee replacement. I am currently on the list but I have gained a good few pounds over the holiday period. I am in the category, morbidly obese, but I am not morbid in any way 🤣 the waiting time in Scotland is down to two years max once you are on the list so fingers crossed god spares me a few years. Been overweight all my life. The only time I was the correct weight for my height was when I was born 😂 I am glad you have decided to pay for the vaccine but it is so unfair you have to do that just because you are not old enough. I went for my second Shingrix on Monday, you can tell Harv, no sore arm this time, just a wee bit tender. You only need one full vaccine in your lifetime so it will be worth it. Loving your Temu haul, you suit natural colours, they just drain me but I need to streamline my wardrobe too so I will try to do a mix and match, stop looking at M&S sales etc. Take care, try and put your blinkers on when you go to Tesco when you pass the clothes section 😆 ❤xx
Oh Jean, you are a tonic. Christmas is a bad time to try and lose weight, we all struggle around that time. A knee replacement op is so important for you, so I’m sure you will do it. I can tell you’re a hoot to be around, I don’t know why they use that term. I think a lot of what we weigh comes from our genes, some are naturally petite, some not. They’ve started giving it to people that turn 65, but not for people who are already 65, don’t ask me why, it’s absurd. I can’t ave it till all my symptoms are gone, but as soon as they are, I’m booking it 100 % He only said last night that his arm was still sore, but only if he lays on it in bed. I’ll take a sore arm any day lol 😂 take care lovely Jean, good luck with the weight loss ❤️❤️❤️

I did enquire about it but its same here in Scotland you have to be 70 and i still have 4 years to go. Those tank tops are lovely especially the cable knit one and matched your outfit perfectly. Hi Cher, thank you, it’s lovey to be back. I love a Temu haul. It’s so hard to eat healthy at Christmas, I’ve eaten all the wrong things, cream, cheese, fat lol you name it. But I’m knuckling down now, I just want to feel healthy again. Our GP surgery doesn’t do recalls to check cholesterol. I only know one had gone up because they did bloods when I went about the pain, before we knew it was shingles. You would think they would do a yearly check, but there you go. I hope yours is ok when you go in March 🤞🙏🏻 see you on the next one ❤️❤️❤️

It’s nice to be back Gerri, I can remember wearing the in my teens lol. The trousers are part of a 3 piece lounge set from Tesco, and the long sleeved t shirt is from Tesco too, no surprises there lol ❤️❤️❤️ and they really are comfy, they still had them in last week in local Tesco. ❤️❤️❤️

That’s good to hear Denise, you can get it here in England if your 65, but not If you’re 67 🤷🏼♀️I’ve no idea why, then you can have it 70 or over, absolutely ridiculous, but so glad you’re getting it done, avoid shingles at all costs ❤️

I’ve done two Temu returns where I received a refund and told to keep the items. I don’t know why. Maybe it was because the £value of the return was low or one or more of the items was deemed to be an hygienic risk.
