Ya know, watching your videos on how to bend and manipulate track was pretty interesting! I found the scalextric track is alot easier to manipulate than the HO scale. I've snapped a few HO pieces and ruined a piece or 2 of scalextric, but I got it down to a science lol. I think I can speak for everyone when I say, your videos are very very helpful. Especially when we run into some spots we could use advice on. Appreciate ya Boone!

I had to move and needed to give away my 6 lane 18’ x 8’ AFX track with 6 long chutes back and forth . I used the widest turns . I found 18””turns , 15”’12” respectively. Banks had to use 9”, 12”, 12” tightened up as close as possible . The bridge I used the 1/8” plywood for the 4’ transition’s . Very fast track with no trees or anything to reduce visibility and painted 3/4” ply gray . Used stock AFX cars with 2 deep cell 360 cold cranking amps car batteries in series . The cars took the 24+ volts with no problem . Didn’t need to put racing armature s in them but “ OMG “when we did just playing around ( gotta play ) . Ran 3 classes of stock armature racing classes in the stock car ,F1 , sports cars . gearing and stock magnets were allowed .

░▒▓▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ HOWDY BOONE ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▓▒░ I too have had obstacle causing a need for an 18" elevated shelf. The wife's piano. The door will not close unless the track can be nudged up and back. It will also have to be able, to split down the middle, on floor mounted sliders. This will allow access to the entire 8'x12'. Just by unlocking two lateral track sections and sliding one half out 3'. No more cold garage. Thanks for the idea. I have 28 kids/grand, some, not so, but it gets too cold in my garden train layout. This will work, especially when I add Wayne Manor complete with Bat Cave turntable. Bat-Pole, Bat-Signal and sound. I have Arduino garden train control. I have been teaching this since 2014. I bought two Scalextric Le Mans 24 Arc Pro sets. Plus the pit lane and all the extra track etc. I went with 3 hairpins using Scalextric C8202 Track Radius - 45 Degrees Curves to make my hair pins with. This way when I run the Magic Arc after market app, I can set a lower top speed. Without squeeze sections, and the turnouts and lane changers off, the toddlers can race without track Marshals. Or I can use the clone controller from the second set? Perhaps, 12 cars can run? I think maybe a learning remote and some mirrors in the tracks overhead gantry's might be helpful, or fun! I will map the IR Codes and all Rf or DCC codes, with Arduino IDE, and post them. 🏁HAPPY NEW YEAR 🏁

@@RodneyKoop no worries 😉… I do have a video on just bending track. It will be under the Track section in the video library on my channel. It’s for Scalextric track but if you have a different brand it will work as well.
