My friend saw them at a festival when they first got big. They were playing in the afternoon. At the end of the set the singer said “that is the best part of the festival over, you can go home now.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I remember seeing them before they’d even released this song, even back then, as the first band on a three band bill, playing to around 200 people, they announced themselves as “the greatest rock n roll band in the world “ and 25 minutes and 20 songs later, everyone agreed 😂
20+ years ago, This band blew my mind. I read about them in Thrasher magazine and saw them on MTV2. I was instantly hooked.

Love that after all these years Howard discovered The Hives! I do miss the presence of Dr. Matt Destruction on bass (but he only left because of health reasons, not creative differences). Nevertheless, the band still crushes it!

Still have the same insane energy after all these years. I know a lot of people say the 60s to 80s rock n roll was in it's prime but the late 90s and early 00s had some great rock and alternative rock bands as well.
