Jessy Kurczewski - Sentencing Hearing | - ‘I cannot be silenced’ Two days before she was scheduled to be sentenced for killing her friend, Jessy Kurczewski’s attorneys filed motions to withdraw from the case, and in a phone call from jail, Kurczewski said she doesn’t know what will happen next.
A Wisconsin woman is facing life in prison after being convicted of killing her friend Lynn Hernan by poisoning her with eye drops. Waukesha County Judge Jennifer Dorow presiding.

That's the only trial I'm entertained by she was incredible how she handled it and DB was incredible at providing entertainment for everyone thinking it was going to get him off those charges how satisfying it was to see him sink down when he lost and now rotting in jail forever

As soon as Judge Dorrow asked a question to Jessy, told her to just answer the question and then said "Don't go into anything else" I knew she was going to ramble into stuff she shouldn't. 😂
Jessy cannot change her nature, so even in jail she is still Jessying. It was a ludicrous attempt, but she can't help her devious nature. To write a letter using the back of handwritten notes during the trial to inveigle a friend to assist in forging a post facto alibi audio tape of Lynn is truly bonkers. I get why the court could not come to a legal conclusion on the determination of the author of the letters without more evidence. However, it is utterly obvious Jessy wrote them, created this issue, and has the unmitigated gall to whine about the consequences, even blaming it on the prosecution. The nerve! But she is what she is, a sociopath who deserves to be in prison for the rest of her miserable life. Maybe she can start a new career of forging vouchers for the prison commissary.

Jessy 100% wrote that letter. When she was speaking she sounded EXACTLY like she did in those interrogation videos. It fits in line with her character. The question is if Jessy is actually delusional enough to think that plan would work?? I know that Judge sees through her manipulation and I look forward to hearing her sentencing remarks.

The defendant might've gotten what she wanted - for the moment - but it won't change her guilt and the sentence she will receive.
My sister has been to prison and she turned her life around, but that doesn’t matter what I can say is that people who are leaving prison will absolutely sneak letters out on their person for fellow prisoners that they are friends with. It happens. And it happens a LOT.
Yes! Even in the county jail .. I’ve been a few times, and have had ppl ask me to mail out letters to boyfriends who they couldn’t send to through the jail: maybe she’s thinking she’d get a new trial?? Idk but she’s guilty ,, she’s full of it and it’s nobody’s fault but her own

It is obvious the hand written letter is in Jessy's hand writing, a blind man could tell you this. I do hope the state will press more charges against Jessy,when its proven this is her own hand written letter. She doesnt deserve to be let out of prison. I feel for the family of lynn,going to court today,only for it to be postponed by another of Jessy's antics. The family of Lynn needs closure in this matter.

The States Attorneys, I believe, had nothing to do with this nor did her attorneys. This is a skeem perpetuated by the "DEFENDANT".....Everyone seen the evidence in court and her ability to commit MURDER, fraud, forgery, lie, and skeem at any cost to others. Legally it makes it difficult to proceed with sentencing....but common sense wise it's a no brainier, if Jessy will murder for money, she will skeem to attempt to have her case thrown out and blame it on her own attorneys. What a piece of work Jessy Kurcewski is. I hope she gets "LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE"

The inmate who received the letter is the source of how the letter got out the jail and flowers in on it too. They don't check you upon release.
Did they ever stop to think she wrote these during her trial and maybe left them in a hidden area for another person to pick up? Check the trial cameras. I have gone over videos and she is busy writing for a lengthy amount of time.

She’s making a substantial record. Some judges aren’t as careful with the record and thereby have a higher percentage of cases overturned or get a new trial. Yeah, she’s a bit…thorough, but I bet her record of appellate overturns is low. From what I understand most criminal cases aren’t granted appeals, but to have a killer back out or a second chance at trial because of an administrator error or a misspoken record is…aggravating. Ounce of prevention…

What kind of court is this? How many people does it take to figure out whether she wrote and sent that letter? How did it get out?
They will be able to determine if she wrote that letter and also one of her attorneys has said her writing was also on it. Attorneys have done stupider things than this. Jessy Kurczewski wants a mistrial, but it won't happen. The person who received the letter was in the courtroom maybe one or two days and also Jessy's mother was there . Her attorney's are running for the hills now Lol

A lot of people watch the trial yes. But how would one of us know who she was in jail with or made jail calls to to make up some stuff like this. It’s got to be from Jessie no one else could have wrote that.

I don’t think they did. Based on the circuit court notes, looks like the two attorneys appointed to her on 12/20/23 request to withdraw. She has a new attorney and the sentencing is scheduled 4/5 at 9am.
Someone who knows about this stuff, could you please tell us what attorney Kukler meant at the 25:00/26:00 mark where she said that they recognize their own handwriting on the papers or notes. IS the attorney for defense saying that even they know Jessy wrote this? I am seriously confused. She said we recognize our own handwriting so what does that mean?
I read the whole document online. You can see where someone, presumably one of the attorneys, was writing notes back-and-forth with jessy on the back of the pages of this letter that was sent to Jessica.
meaning that they KNOW the letter came from Jessie and she said in the letter, she is implicating her own attorneys and said this including that Jessie wrote that letter (that she says she didn't write) that it was her attorneys idea! so the attorneys are like oh, hell no we aren't sticking out neck out for her. so, we withdraw.

There was a 7 minute court tv video, where she has new lawyers and sentencing is FINALLY scheduled for April. Which I think is too far away but I guess we’ll have to wait
