    Awsome, i was tempted to do an a team theam to my lunchbox, or the cannonball run ambulance. Iconic 80’s vans. But im thinking i may do it as a police van now 😂

      I’d like to do an NYC police van for some reason. But I’ve got three shells now, so probably won’t. Thanks for taking a look.

    Hi iam not addicted, had no tamiya as a kid, did not know what tamiya is until i was 30 😂 but i like tamiya for no reason. I really don't know!!
    Great project! I did know 2 Hotwheels bodys for tamiya chassis.

      Tamiya was always out of reach as a kid. Parent could only afford the cheaper ready to run RC cars, which was fine. As an adult, able to afford these things, then why not eh. Can’t say I see many children playing with Tamiya RC cars though.

    Tamiya has the wheels in Metalic Red. They are from a Lunch box or Suzuki Jimny model Special Editions. I have the wheels in Metalic Blue and I threw them on the Chrome Pumpkin. You got to find the Red ones man!

    I painted my Tamiya Lunchbox van to look like the Scooby-Doo van. It is really easy to do. Just buy the decals in the UK and spray the van the green/blue color. Thoughts?

    Great job fella!
    As an eighties kid, loved the A Team..... along with Dukes of Hazzard, Knight rider etc etc.
    A lot of work goes into the prep and painting of one of these, but it's a highly rewarding process once complete!
    That looks stunning. 🙏

    Awesome video and spectacular job on the paintwork. You mentioned about spraying a gloss coat after fresh paint to prevent bleeding??

    • @rctamiyaaddict4687
      @rctamiyaaddict4687  5 месяцев назад

      Yeah after masking a section, sprayed some TS clear. This gets in any of the small gaps that haven’t masked and stops the coloured paint bleeding through when sprayed. That’s the theory anyway.
