Omg this is wonderful! I love how you are non-pretentious and not fussy with every stitch and just use what you have as far as needles go and so authentically organic in what you do….will be looking forward to seeing much more from your channel! Thank you!
Thank you so much! I always thought that one day when I was a proper grown up I’d understand how to be all regimented and precise. It has been a long process to let go of the lifetime of messages telling me that what I was doing was wrong. Thanks for appreciating what I do.
The border is absolutely beautiful. It is a lovely piece of art. You made such wonderful designs. Unrolling everything the embroidery and it had clothes on washing line. Thank you. ❤❤❤❤
Stumbled upon your channel - and was awestruck by your beautiful masterpiece. I’m new to embroidery, strait stitching, running stitches, etc. But your tutorials have grabbed my interest. Thank you - signed your latest subscriber.
I love this creation. So much fun to look at! I have been stitching all my life, from age 4. My mom taught me on unbleached muslin and she was left-handed, as I am. I see you are as well and it makes it so much easier to watch and learn. I am now 72 and still love to learn new ways. Yours are a delight! Just keep stitching and sharing. ❤
Oh wow thank you. I’m glad you appreciate my lefthandedness. I sometimes get complaints from right handed people that they don’t understand what I’m doing. I have to laugh because as you know we lefties are constantly having to mentally flip things around.
I am so blessed to find your channel tonight thank you thank you for showing and explaining the stitching. Beautiful work you do I will be back again and again !!!!
What a fun projec. Your teaching style is so encouraging and gives permission to just go with the flow. Thank you. I'm inspired and itching to give this a try, but I'll watch your other videos first. 'm already dreaming but I might add a tiny bead or two or maybe a wee spangle. So glad I found you.

Adorable, years ago like twenty maybe I saw a huge panel that someone had done that was a whole forest and then animals etc underground and this just brought that memory back and I think I'll make something similar. Unfortunately, I don't remember the artists name, lots of beautiful embroidery and detail. All my knots will be on the front I think as an accent. So excited to start. I had found like 100 fat quarters at a garage sale years ago and haven't done anything with them because they were darker colors and baliks, now I know what to do. Looking forward to checking out everything on your channel, first time watcher, now subscriber.

Thank you. That’s interesting, I’ve never really enjoyed using a sewing machine. It was something that I endured to get the result that I wanted. Now I sew clothes by hand. When I stopped trying to rush to the end. I realized how much I like sitting with a needle and thread. If you are interested I have an underwater stitching project that is available with a small monthly subscription. It’s been going since January but all the videos are still available here ko-fi.com/misti_ko/tiers
@@mistikomakes I’ve lost my heart to the idea of starting a piece based on things in my garden (including the vegetable bed we’ve just made.) I’m embracing the idea of a slow project that doesn’t have to have an end date, and where the process is as much of a reward as the finished piece.
