The design of this car is timeless
That is a serious sound, holy crap.
2:43 you know a car is fast when the speedo needle moves as fast as the tach needle
always thought corvettes were the best sounding american cars. this one sounds amazing
Last model shit
Nah, the chargers/challenger are
@@moisesgonzalez3473 no way - they sound like wet farts. Best sounding American car isn't even that powerful, it's the 03-04 Mustang Mach 1 or the 03-04 Mustang Cobra
The best Corvettes are the C5 and C6 gens
This literally is one of my favorite videos on RUclips! 😍
That sound is awesome
I don’t even like chevys that much but that sound....
This and the Camaro are the best Chevys
I love that sound
Nice sound!
V8 Power! Ohv kick in yo!
There is no better sound than an LSX with long tubes - and that's coming from a Ford guy! Absolutely addictive...
Shame on you lol - don't forget about the 4.6 2V and 4v, best sounding V8's hands down in my opinion.
@@bigk5746 Man, yeah, your are making it tough there. My friend has a '96 GT, which is of course the 4.6 2v. It does sound awesome - and it's totally stock to boot! I can't imagine what it would sound like with long tubes. Other favorites are 289s revving to the moon (and back down) and of course the 351C in the Pantera.
@@bigk5746 What about Voodoo 5.2?
sounds crazy
Your RUclips channel is great
Gorgeous and it's fast 😍❤
This sounds really cool, especially with a stick shift
I want to Cannonball Run with you ,great videos !
O melhor pov
I absolutely love the C6, its the vette that came out as my petrolhead-ness was starting to flourish
Watching this video wishing I was driving one!
I’ve been so tempted to sell both my cars and buy one of these .
Oooohh that power
I have the 2012 Grand sport centennial edition. Nast cars
Шикарнейшая машина, уххх!!😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻
Ual!!! Bela máquina.
Did you drive it, at any point, with the exhaust valves closed?
Haven’t seen theses since I was 5
Me favorite gen corvette of ALL time
C6 and C5
Cool car 🚗😎
C6 = Great Generation
C5 as well
nice
This and the C5 are the best generations of Corvettes especially when cammed
This car is the best invention at the moment, everything is mired in money around only radicals.
I like
Just wondering, did you mean Z06 opposed to Z16 in the title? Or is there a Z16?
Jack Shotton it’s a z16 grand sport not a z06
Z16 is a package much like the Z51 on the base models
Zal Can thanks!
5:45...
When I saw him roll up his sleeves I was like BOY HE GONNA DO IT
Why does it say "Passenger Airbag" below the Rear View Mirror?
Indicator as to whether or not the passenger airbag light is on. To the right, you can see that it is ON. If no one was sitting in the passenger seat, it would say OFF a little bit closer to the center.
@@thomasoneill5653 oh okay, I though there might heve been an issue with the car.

🤩🤩🤩🤩
I’d be interested in knowing what wheels you have!
They are factory OEM ZR1 wheels from the game generation Corvette - 2009 to 2013.
Thomas O'Neill hey Thomas, what is your exact exhaust setup? I see that you have an X pipe from the description but which brand is it?
Has it kilometer speed indicator? 🤔
It has a toggle to switch between them
*On the HUD not on the dashboard
Stock Exhaust?
1 7/8 long tubes with 3 inch x-pipe to factory NPP exhaust which is open this entire video.
He already know that
1:46 ... did he really just take a selfie...?
I was taking a photo of the driver with his video/audio equipment, to share with our friends.
best of the best
perfect sound, perfect steering and perfect look that never become old! V8 power only, FFE!))))
(FFE- f**k fuel economy :))) )

4:55 that kinda hurt huh
Just the radiator shroud. No worries.
Only a piece of rubber that scratches the ground so its no worries (Y)
Sounds great, but anymore I wonder what the thrill of driving a car like this is on public roads. You have so much power that in barely a few seconds you're going way over the speed limit if you get into it, so any reasonable person is going to short shift it and then cruise along in 6th gear. What's the point of all the power if you can't really use it? Even most people who own a high performance car rarely take them to a track or anything, so it's a car that won't be used as it was intended for 98% of its life. Kind of seems a waste, no?
Don't get me wrong, I get the fun of acceleration and enjoy it myself but after a certain point it just seems superfluous and excessive. Can't imagine for anyone who owns a supercar what it's like, they have to be driven at 1/10th for basically their entire existence...
I was thinking the same thing. It's like having 10000 spoons when all you need is a knife. A little ironic, don't ya think?
That's the reality of owning any fast car. A massive tease.
@@kilgoretrout321 I dunno, it's a bit more like to keep your example going having a solid titanium spoon vs. a cheap plastic spoon. The end result ends up the same, they both scoop up objects. I hate it, because I have always loved sports cars and still love the way they look and sound but it seems like so much money spent on aspects of a car you will rarely ever appreciate. At least people dropping $100k on an S-Class Mercedes are enjoying that soft ride and supreme luxury every time they drive it, whereas in a sports car you are often suffering with a worse ride and less luxuries just for the sake of performance you won't be able to appreciate outside of a track.
Perhaps those who have access to the Autobahn would have a much better case for it, since they have somewhere they can legally take advantage of their cars power but for most of us that's not an option. Driving a Veyron anywhere besides the autobahn must be an exercise in blue balls...
This is the mindset of slow car fast being fun because you get the experience of pushing it harder for longer but with less true potential, but if you're only looking to do a little over at most that's all you need right?
That's definitely not to say a fast car isn't fun tho I'd open this thing up just like he did and as often
I agree. I love cars, I love performance and horsepower but owning a fast car in the US is like going to a strip club. You're just gonna be left with blue balls. Sure you can let it rip sometimes but you're always going to be looking in your rear view mirror paranoid about the red and blue. Not to mention cars like this tend to be cop magnets to begin with. Spending that much money on something that you take a big risk to enjoy or are left wanting more just doesn't seem worth it imo. Maybe if you're rich enough that you can afford to pay off the tickets and insurance increases. Or as a track toy.
Of course this is youtube and you're gonna have all the keyboard warriors talking about how they street race and speed all the time and don't care but in the real world it's a big deal to have your car impounded, license suspended, big tickets, insurance increase, in some cases even going to jail. I'd rather spend a few thousand on a top of the line gaming PC that I know I can push to it's limits than many tens of thousands on a car I can only push to half or less it's potential without being put in handcuffs.
Gas Mileage must suck haha

Super cool car ... but it would only make fun on a German highway. Greetings from Good Old Germany
exterior really looks fresh, but interior so outdated, like something from 2004
Yeah, considering the C6 generation came out around that time, that would make sense haha. Very nice exterior though!
The C6 was actually designed in 2004
