    Honestly, I'm blown away by the ride quality. Considering how low the car is, the tires it has, how much grip is has, how focused it is on sports driving, the ride on those rough roads is absolutely amazing. I also love the simple, old school interior. It's clean and looks so good compared to the weird, flamboyant, overly digital interiors on modern cars.

    • @crate2819
      @crate2819 5 лет назад +1

      There's a reason you are paying $50,000 plus for a car like this. It all factors into the equation. You can certainly modify a cheaper car to be as fast as the corvette but it won't be as nice and refined to drive everyday.

      That’s not a wise comment. In a world full of dual clutch automatics. In Porsche’s and Mclaren. And most people driving automatics and not manuals you wouldn’t even have a corvette for this generation if they only made them manuals only.

    Truly love the C6 grand sport and have a 13' GS 3lt heritage. I feel like these are going to become really difficult to find in the next 10yrs. It's almost as if they were the end of a timeless Era of the corvette. Don't get me wrong I love the c7 and c8s too but they just don't look timeless vette to me. They are more future stylish where the c6 had just the perfect amount of new lines with the classic vette curves still perfectly done. I do wish they would have kept the c5 pop up headlights on the c6 though but that may just be me as a grew up in that Era. Didn't expect this video to be so good but it was really well done. Nice calm discussion with driving. Audio levels were great too. Good job 👏 👍

    The blinking dashboard is annoying but sounds good!

    • @blue-tb2fd
      @blue-tb2fd 5 лет назад

      It's due to the refresh rate of the camera conflicting with the backlight of the dashboard. Here's a great video on it by Tom Scott: ruclips.net/video/uzP8FFKpwQ0/видео.html

    is he redlining a Corvette z16?
    It ain't a civic...
    Haha, yeah and owning a v8 it is harder to speed with a fast car because you get into ticket speeds so quick, you back off the accelerator fast.
    Slower cars get you tickets because you have to run em so long you cover so much distance you're in the danger zone longer.

      Golden Manuever definitely not, just picked up a 2013 GS 2LT with 15k miles for 34k. Maybe I got a good deal? Idk

    • @goldenmanuever1176
      @goldenmanuever1176 5 лет назад +2

      Daenerys Targaryen no doubt a good deal. Still 4LT with manual trans and < 3k miles is going to cost you a kidney.

      @@goldenmanuever1176 sooner I'm going to be looking for a cyber grey or super sonic blue 2012-2013 Grandsport with M6 at least 2LT. If It has even 40k miles i wouldnt mind. They dont lose power for shit! By the time the c8 comes out i hope for something in looking for is just at $30k
