Thanks for the insight. It's good to get feedback about the motorhome from someone who has been using one. We now look forward to October NEC and hopefully getting what we want.👍

@@jimmyphelan7960 Have a good look around as dealers will be keen to sell now the 2024 models as the Escape is updated for 2025 so you might find a good buy in the current form… the new prices have gone up significantly for 2025 as they are using a more expensive cab!

Thanks for the links and insight. Where we have a slight problem is we are in ireland and so are limited to dealers. We can deal with thompsons in the north as they are the only swift dealers in ireland. It is only about 3 hr drive so local enough. We are only in a position to but next year as a retirement present to ourselves but we are enjoying looking and cant wait until we are motoring. We will keep following your vlogs with interest specially about how your swift is going.@thetrackertravels

We have got off to a great start with the Swift. What is going well? For a start there have been minimal snagging issues compared to our last new one (Auto Trail) and the dealer addressed these really swiftly (no pun intended!) - we did a vlog on those early issues. The layout works well for us with the rear bedroom and lounge and the washroom is good quality and feels a solid shower - fixtures and fittings. The kitchen space works well and the Alde heating system is great to have back. The garage for us has been a bonus as the last one had a small garage. Compromises? Well the fridge is not as good as the Thetford one we have been used to before (smaller freezer box and overall capacity - the trays and shelves on the door are slightly more flimsy). Our layout gives a lack of drawers in the bedroom area - but there is wasted spaced below the bed you can’t access - so something could be improved there. The foxed table is marmite - you get used to moving it into different configurations but is offset so getting legs around one side is not as easy. Sometimes you just don’t want the table there! But it is a clever design. Shall see how that goes. You lose space under the bench seats in ours for the travel seats.. so notice missing that storage space for shoes and drinks etc. We have just covered over 3000 miles on this last tour and some rough roads that have shaken it down and thwart only thing that has cropped up is the washroom door lock/handle needs adjusting - so shall get that booked in. There is rattling on the sunroof at the front when the wind is up but it comes and goes (think they could do with finding a fix to secure that internal frame - so shall check this out with the dealer). Hope that gives a flavour of where we are at. We are really liking the motorhome and were impressed with the QA processes and build process we saw at the Swift factory. We shall keep updates coming on how the vehicle is doing. A&J
