Excellent start Jen. Looking forward to following the build to the end. Thanks for deciding to do this series for beginners and as a refresher for more experience modellers like me who have got into lazy bad habits!

I didn't know about this kit, but it would be good company for my Tamiya FB! Following this build with interest -good choice of markings too. 👍

Glad your doing one of my favorite planes of WWII. Your presentation is just the right tone and pace.

Ok. So Amazon order in, going to build while you build. Lets see how many bad habits or laziness I've developed through the years.

Nice. I love the Mossie and haven't built a kit in over 30 years, so techniques have changed. I look forward to this tutorial, I may well give it a go over the dark winter nights.

Hi Jen, big fan of the channel. Built the earlier boxing of this one and it’s a great little kit and good choice for the tutorial. One quick thought, some “Talc” products are now cornflower based and can have a rapid smoking reaction with CA. Real talcum or French chalk should be fine but in the USA that’s getting harder to find.

I stocked up last year on real talc as I knew this year they were going to move away from the chalk based stuff.

thanks for mentioning hand steadiness Jen... that's a potential (psychological) blocker for folks not gifted 95th percentile fine motor control...

I believe the kits get weighed before they leave the tamiya factory to ensure all sprues are there,i dont know about other companies though

Great video Jen, I bought this kit specifically for this when you first mentioned the idea. I hope to start next week and build along with you. Just a quick question though, do you need to wash the parts first?

I lashed-out & bought a pair of Despai Nippers last year, best tool investment ive ever made ! Not cheap, but worth every cent IMHO.
