👍 AZ monsoons change the strategy. The Wet Bulb calculates humidity and ambient temps, if it’s humid you need way more hydration as the sweat evaporation is greatly diminished because of the excessive humidity! I live in AZ and regularly get out in the Blast Furnace so Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate even if you are sweating as the wet bulb in “Black” is far more dangerous!
Drink water _before_ you're thirsty. I worked construction in Phx. Wearing loose, long sleeves, keeping them wet can help if humidity is low enough. Evaporation is nil in humidity. Wide-brimmed hats (not caps) put shade in your neck, where blood heats/cools more readily. Sombreros have a purpose ... amigo :)
I have water filters for backpacking that i toss in the boat. Not as good as a fresh bottled water out of the cooler but may get you through an emergency.
I live in N Texas. Ambient in the shade is 95-102 typically. In direct sun it's way over 100 and the UV is flat out silly (often zero clouds). If you forget your water here, you'll freakin' die.
I’ve lived in Texas 62 years and don’t ever run AC in my home or truck and I’m a retired HVAC installer. Work in a Texas attic on a existing home all day during summer. That’s when it gets hot.
@@LeonStjames This younger generation is spoiled. It’s hotter in my metal roof mobile home than it is outside in the summer. AC will spoil you to where you don’t want to work in the heat. I notice all my neighbors inside during midday and they only come out mornings and evenings.
You should look into getting a mini split heat pump for your garage! I install stuff like that for a living, if I lived closer, I would install it for the price of the equipment. Love the channel.
Feels like 100-102⁰ the last few days here. Luckily very windy. I bring a double walled gallon jug with ice and some salty jalapeño chips. Wet the gaiter in the back to keep the neck cool. As for baits ripping a crank seems to work. Idk why. The faster the better but it wears me out. I should add i work outside. Been landscaping for 26 years. You adjust to it.
Good Tips and cool that you offered help to someone on the water. I am not surprised as you just seem so honorable. Watching your video I paused and ordered a size Large Sun Gloves from you. Like how the Sun gloves are finished at the fingertips. Thank You. Be Well.
I love fishing in extreme heat. Yeah, it sucks but get hydrated before you go. Stay hydrated, and cover up with sun shirt and floppy hat. Funny thing is, after about the 4th of July shallow fishing starts getting good. I think the photoperiod change after summer solstice get a certain population of the fish relating to the shallows, especially the backs of live tributaries. Also, many sunfish spawn until September where I live, and the bass are always relating to those that are spawning shallow.
I'm somewhat used to the heat, since I work in heat treat for one of the auto manufacturers, but I'm not crazy about fishing in extreme temperatures. I drink lots of water while I work, because the ambient temperature, even in the cooler areas, is usually at least 90 degrees. I don't drink electrolyte beverages anymore after developing kidney stones and spending 7 + hours in the ER. The doctors told me that the electrolytes actually help the kidney stones form. They see it a lot with construction workers and others that work in the heat. I've never dealt with such excruciating pain before!
Went pond hopping and was able to sight fish some schooling bass that were after bluegill! Threw a Jerk Shad and it was awesome to see them eat it before I could even feel it on the line
the thermocline moves down at this time of year. Light is penetrating deeper so the Thermocline will move downward. There is less Oxygen down that far as well as it gets much cooler the closer you get to that line
Totally off topic. What percentage of retail price does the big box store ask for to carry your products. I was thinking of reaching out to a big box store to carry some of my products. Thanks in advance.

The double take at the beginning of the video threw me for a loop for a second haha. Thanks for the tips.

Screw that...I wouldn't even fish
@@jamesbarron1202 That's called common sense. Apparently, some people don't have this.
yup. rest of the summer. I get to go out middle of the day in the middle of the week. covering up is key for sure.

Yep, less people out when it's hot too.

Great tips! Its sure getting hot out there 🎣
In Texas you learn to fill up one of your live wells with Gatorade bottles and ice. Fish ain’t worth dying for. Usually… haha
Dude you know a lot. And you are so useful. I've said thanks before but that wasn't adequate - have to say it again.
Just got my Finn hat, shirt, glove combo. I like the fit and quality.
In middle TN its around mid 90's for the 10 day forecast
I'm in Crossville, got home from work, hooked up the boat, walked outside, unhooked the boat, went and took a shower lol
@@ukstorm2727 Full moon Friday. Planning on going out around 6 and fishing till 12-1

Down here roasting in Texas… catching nothing but a tan and we’ve been out 10 times at least!!
So hot Tyler’s camera stand is melting into the garage floor… 🥵
I thought you were going to tell us how we can stay cool while fishing! 🥵
Will you get the 2x gloves back in stock before the end of June? Would love to grab the bundle but you don't have the gloves I need right now.
Good stuff g, today I’m going fishing in San Jose Bay Area.
The thumbnail is fire (no pun intended)
On at 5am..off 930...10am at max
Bass aren’t the only animals that like hard bottoms.. just sayin, HAVE FUN !!!
The mic was on the whole time 😂😂
Sound wasn’t as crisp as normal. That’s just from my iPhone. That’s what I meant by saying the mic wasn’t on
you need to get a solar fan to suck the heat out.
The thumbnail 😂
Also in Ohio Tyler, you need to come north and fish Nimisilla Reservoir
Does the Thermocline come into play when you mention catching them deep.

Liquid IV is the deal
He’s wearing gloves for the same reason he’s wearing a hat and sun shirt inside: to display the product.

Sun gloves equal grab the fish with a rag.. you’re grabbing the slime coat off every time
Why would you wear gloves sitting in yur shop talking
Did you watch the video? He’s talking about heat and sun protection and of course he’s going to sport them…he sells them.
@@NinjaShroomer someone that gets it.
Chickamauga is fishing tough lately. Best advice is find the grass.
Fishing is supposed to be fun. Fishing in 100 degree weather is not fun.
It is in short bursts..4 hours or less
Take the gloves off man.
