I use a similar saying. When in doubt, Ned it out.
My problem is that fish too slow. I tend to spend too much time on the same spot, fishing slowly. In my home province here im South Africa we have a LOT of grass and structure in the private farm dams i fish. As a teacher i have access to these unpressured dams that is not well maintained as the farmers use them for irrigation mainly and therefore i fish weightless texas rigged soft plastics 90% of the time. Will HAVE to adjust as well. This is a great video as always, Tyler. Tight lines, brothers from a cold South Africa.
I have a similar problem. Though it's partially not my fault. I bank fish. So I'm limited to where I'm allowed and able to fish. So I end up staying longer than I should bother to sometimes. I've been getting better. I'll just fish 30-75 minutes. If I'm not catching fish I'll either pack up and go home or find a different spot
Your channel always makes total 100% sense.
Years ago, super hot day in July, bank fishing with a purple ribbon worm , Texas rigged bullet sinker. One of the biggest bass I ever caught at a small overfished not well maintained south central lake.
I use a similar saying.. When all else fails, throw a Senko!
I had to laugh..that's my favorite way to fish all the time...great tips. Thank you.
Big Texas rigged worm is my go to in the dog days of summer. I always keep Berkley 10" Powerbait power worms on my boat in the summer. Not only are they an absolute magnet for my favorite bass to chase (small mouth) but they just produce when those water temps climb into the 80's and 90's.
Same been using bruiser baits 10 in working sweet
I like that saying, I'm going to remember that. And I'm asking for permission to start saying it.
Right on, by title last thing we want see is Tyler doing fishing video in drag🤣😂, but drop shot 👍
I absolutely love the Carolina Rig! It has produced for me when fishing is very slow!
I absolutely hate the drop shot!! It works but damn the tangled mess.
Great information thank you
Bruiser baits has a great 10 in rubber worm and it's durable .
Wow! Just got back from a pond. And I was throwing the kitchen sink,at these Bass. The 2 guys I went with . Did exactly what you're talking about. They were dragging their bait the entire time, and caught several fish . Carolina Here I Come !! Love your channel, will go buy me some Finn gear to help support. God Bless !
Good advice! Summer is tough even in Kentucky but they can always be caught. Just have to slow down and think about what you’re doing!
Lovin the channel Tyler! Keep posting.
Do you have a video on tying drop shop and to fish deep and shallow
I spent a lot of time watching other boats last year. Our lakes were at record lows and 9/10 boats were power fishing the bank, even as the water was still falling! That made me want to fish below then and go a little slower. If I had wind it was a 4.3" swimbait or larger and when it slowed I went to a tube and Tiny Child's rig. It seems to be working, find larger than average fish in areas that everyone else is just blowing through!
When in doubt pull it out
Solid video. Also love you on dudeperfect
I use "Only caught a twig? Tie a weightless rig!"
Are Carolina rigs good for _muddy-bottom_ ponds?
I was told bottom contact baits don't do well on muddy bottoms.
Love the tips make me a better fisherman I haven't seen you talk about big swimbait can you do a video on big swimbait
Got a mojo rig setup 24/7/365, in doubt or not.
When sh🤬tgets too bad i use an old beetle spin and get crappie, atleast i eat them if big lol. But tea plastics first👍, then fush fry on🤣😂
Let's go
can you only fish a drop shot from a boat?
Hooked my biggest fish ever on a drop shot from the bank 🤷
I think we are running out of content. Maybe too frequent on the videos. Have always appreciated you. Seems like lately you’re trying too hard to put out a video frequently vs using your knowledge and experience. I don’t think we needed a tutorial on how to fish a drop shot and all the other most common set ups. Again, appreciate you, but kind of at the point of not wanting to click on your stuff.
