I hosted a terraria 1.4 server without any rules and let people mess around in it for 72 hours, this was absolutely hectic and I was so surprised to see with what people came up with. This server was packed full of hackers all the way to the greatest builders you could find in terraria. What will come of the the server in the very end, well lets find out...

I planned to join in with a endgame character and destroy the snow biome. Also if anyone dared to make a snow biome I would destroy it along with anything near it.
Sadly has too busy to log in for a longtime so that didn't happen.

Alright, let me talk about some things that I want to say for this
2:27 That's my first house that I built
8:38 I also did that without using any anti-cheat software along with the platform I initally made
10:15 I'm a part of this New Africa. Also, I made my second house there
11:26 My story was unfinished though. I haven't had enough time to finish it before you can read it. Good thing, someone named Racoonsgowild finished it
13:35 This is where I built my third house, it was very fancy but it wasn't showed it in this vid
14:00 I made that hotel for everyone to settle down. I tried to protect it but someone destroyed it.
15:00 Just a question, did you actually read all of the signs that we made?
15:09 Yeah, thanks to the kind people, they rebuilt my hotel and actually improved it. I'm really grateful that they preserved it until the end.
This is one of my favorite servers that I've joined so far, it brought me so many joy on this. I had so much fun doing all the things I've made.

One thing I figured out from this encounter was that every terraria server by default has some sort of anticheat, that makes it so that if your damage is too absurd it doesn't register
I'll be more prepared next time

Shame about the griefers but I guess non-anarchy servers can develop into wild civilizations and eventually even have in-game mini games and challenges.
Gotta stick with the factorio crowd though, less combat and more building focus really shapes a unity.
FYI, check the server command line options. You can disable the announcement boxes.
That hacker fighting the moon lord must have felt like the ultimate godslayer like wtf was his weapons

people : getting resources and nice bases
hours later :
people : starting to build more base
griefer : ruining some bases
him : trolling a little bit
people : make base underground
griefer : figured out there is underground base
griefer : destroys
people : make skybase

Since it was an anarchy server I'm surprised people didn't use something like terraria tweaker to do stuff like infinite summons and other things like that one inventory editor to get op armour

Hey this is a little late but can't you fill the spawn actuated blocks to prevent the dirt bomb spam also you could consider turning off certain things like lava buckets and when people spawn not sure if this can be forced but make them have a new character you could also give everyone a starter pack like molten armor, lava sponge and the lava charm these things should slow some grief down

How 2 destroy griefers:
Step 1: HACC LACC
step 2: PROTECC SITY FROM GRIEFERS
Use bubble blocks in spawn, liquid can't travel through and block bombs cannot either
You should make it like every time lava is placed near spawn, *summons dungeon guardian*
The spawn i made with aether and awi-chan didnt showed.But it was fun!

This is cool but this doesn’t feel like a anarchy server. U intervened so much. The people should have realized how to get out of spawn on their own, instead of the admin just releasing everyone, I’m not gonna tell how to run the server better, but personally I think it would have been more interesting to truly not intervene unless the server was unplayable (people can’t enter or the server is crashing) but that’s just how I would do it, and I understand that this might not be as interesting for content
