hi ! why could malacay in spellforce 2 create life ? not even the guardians can do that . i know he used dragon blood some how but , that alone can´t be enough . pure allfire is more potent and the circle where now where near that . ps love the content
It's also worth noting that the Malar weren't exactly an ideal form of life to begin with, and they were more like a plague instead, and hence why the Guardians had to intervene in the end, lest the life on Eo would've perished by an experiment of a mad alchemist with god complex. SF2 loading screens describe how much of a terror the Malar were for example. And even the Guardians had hard time dealing with the neverending stream of the Malar, and thus Hirin directly stroke Malacay.
SF1 TOoD website the Giants lore from the Ancient Creatures & Beastmen of the Enemies & Monsters section. Sadly, I can't link due to recent YT rules, but you can access the old website through Wayback Machine. Here's the Giants lore: "The Giants are ancient. Their footsteps shook the earth even before the Dragons ruled the skies or the Shapers created their huge cities. Their realm was the mountains, the impenetrable and hostile peaks covered in snow, where they lived and reigned undisturbed. Their sheer strength and size enabled them to resist the wrath of the elements, and like the perpetual storms above the peaks, they defied the changes of the centuries. So they have wandered the land since the beginning of time. The legends of the Northern Realms tell of Giants that are so old that they have earned the respect of the forces of nature themselves. The winds speak to them and the icy northern storms greet them respectfully as they stride among the summits. Although Giants possess a quick intellect and some have even managed to learn a language in the course of their long lives, their capacity for reason is not as well-developed as that of other races. They are stubborn, vengeful and greedy, as well as being cruel and merciless. This combination of cruelty and greed enabled the Mages of the Circle to use these creatures for their own purposes. In the Convocation War, many armored Giants strode into battle, where the wreaked unimaginable havoc and destruction amongst the ranks of the enemy."
@@Wormic y checked it. In the german version it is clear. In the english version it sounded like they were on EO at the point were the Elements sill enraged. But no you are right.
@@pyrolight3557 All biological life on Eo evolved from the Seed of Life planted by Aonir just like what the SpellForce Community said. The Shapers and Dragons weren't the first creatures, but the first and second nations to ever appear. There are many creatures on Eo predating the Shapers and Dragons since Eo possibly had geological periods much like the ones of our own, such as the Carboniferous, Permian, Jurassic etc. The Giants, Crawlers, Bonefiends, all predate the Shapers and Dragons for example. The Crawlers lore: "Many a gruesome variety of otherwise ordinary creatures can be encountered in the steaming swamps of Urgath. Many believe that the crawlers are creatures stemming from a time before there were nations or even dragons. They are vicious and insatiable, and sometimes they poison their victims to stun them, before they sink their claws and fangs into them." The Bonefiends lore: "They wandered across the face of Eos many thousands of years ago and they were the mightiest hunters of their time. That is a long time ago, but which necromancer wouldn’t be keen on including these horrors from ancient times in his armies. The stony bones of these ancient beasts are thus dug out of the earth from deep under the black jungle and filled with unholy life by their new master." And on the other hand, Eo also had inhabitants before Aonir's arrival, he just tamed and pacified the Primal Elements that were fighting among themselves as Ishtar Magnus explains in SF2 loading screen as well as elaborated on in SF2 DS Misty Coast, so that his Seed of Life could blossom, what he did was basically terraform Eo so that carbon based life could take hold and artificial panspermia with the Seed of Life thereafter. The Phoenix was also one of the original inhabitants of Eo before Aonir's arrival, a creature dwelling in the streams of magic since the dawn of time, made of pure Archfire, and as old as Eo itself as Dryad explains. Primal Elements were also so strong that even Aonir was exhausted after defeating them as explained in the Aonir's Sacrifice anecdote. And even the Guardians combined couldn't reach their might, and hence Aonir also sacrificed his own blood, which would form into the Godstones today, so that the Primal Elements wouldn't awaken one day.
Hey Wormic, I know that you hate SF3 Story so one question. Do you think the Sharpers would have lost the War against the Dragons if they had Runewarriors? Because i dont really see how the Dragons win against armies of thousends of runesalves. Sure they got the "allfeuer" but the Dragons could battel this because they got it them self. But thousends of respawning allways learning and constantly stronger getting troops? That would be a different War for sure.
