First impression the fireplaces are fab ,are they completely stupid
Philistines ....they want character but hate Edwardian fireplaces ...
It should be illegal to strip out original features like those fireplaces...
I actually liked the "upside down" house, if they could have sorted out the security issue.
It would not be hard to put up fencing.
I like property no 4, that last one.
Thank you
That last house is nice but does need reinforcement on the river bed side, I think the cheapest is replacing all the dirt with heavy rock. Another is digging deep holes and inserting heavy, large cement columns to form a wall. Just talking from what I've seen been done.
8:54, once again, the only kitchen tiles available in the UK.
Wow a brilliant property for that price. In Devon, where I live it costs about £200,000 for a tiny 1 bed flat, more or less a bedsit & it really is not worth it. Once upon a time it was a great town to live in but now it is overcrowded, not enough amenities for the population.
It was 20 years ago...
Again these obnoxious people that want this want that asking for character property and want to rip out a fantastic fireplace. Are you kidding me. This is the third episode one after the other where I really was getting impatient. Poor presenters
A bit harsh, I think.
Not get a house in those areas for those prices anymore...
When was this filmed? 1986?
Not sure how they found this house by the botanical for £150,000. Must have been filmed awhile ago.
Alex McVicar-Payling Early 2000s.
Exactly my thoughts. £150k would be far too good to be true in today’s money.
how many distance home from Sheffield university, how many rent in a week for students

Shame that comment on the mum-in-law had to go out on the airwaves. Bit hurtful. Keep it to yourself and be grateful for parents.
talking onboard. in the thick of it. Patio heaters. Decking. De weeding apparatus.
