I have been in Propane business for over 50 Years and copper is perfectly fine for Propane. But it should be at least 1/2" OD. But the gas guy was right about the ball valves and the need for a High Pressure regulator., and if you need a larger feeder pipe would be 3/4"

All that's needed now is a lifeguard tower, and some sexy uniforms! You already have sand and perhaps a 12 inch water column... Oh how does the land provide? If only I had learned to count so high.
Dang, if only the land provided a tractor, or better yet, a road grader to move that sand off the road into and out of the wash... 🤔 😄 Buster's been playing with the birds it looks like. Making new friends, probably. Hope your gas pains clear up!
Good to see a pro taking a look at that and he will be familiar with code in that area. The flexible underground pipe might not be approved, but now you know what to get to complete the job.
Dang you two you get me hooked on watching you and you only give us one video a week but I do look forward to your video. Would love to see more you got a lot of work ahead of you especially if you're going to replumb for gas.
Yay! Had to make some coffee to enjoy with my Herb-O-Matic video. The critical systems of that house are all so janky that a slab-up renovation might be the easiest route. I seriously doubt that there is anything to code.
Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously through you, all the stuff you do is something that if i were able, I'd love to do. But I get to watch you without all the stress of actually dealing with all the bull crap.
Omg I came here to say the same thing!!! I wish I could give it 2 thumbs up. It’s great to see that others have my same humor. Not many around me find it as amusing.
Time after time, I have read about this cindy lopper, but have no idea who she is. Maybe if she introduced herself, I could get to know her true colors.
Your screen shot of the nuclear blast going off behind your house hooked me and reeled me in. Your current video was very funny - as always - but there was also a lot of interesting, real-world information in there too. LOL, when I saw the first video of your "new" house, my initial thought was exactly as you mentioned - if the craptastic propane set-up that you can actually see looks dangerous, how much worse might be the part you can't see. Love your vids. Thanks!
The gas guy knows his stuff. I spent 13 years working on commercial pressure washers and used to run into problems with lp all the time. There’s pressure and there’s volume. Commercial pressure washers can pull 400,000 btu’s and up for the burner so your idea for high pressure to a manifold sounds good. That way you can regulate the gas pressure for each appliance independently and you won’t starve the stove when something else like the water heater turns on.
Well guys The Propane fellow really knows his business . Seems to me your got a lot of work ahead of you to update and make your house safe for propane.Don't get discouraged it can be done .
One late comment. I would get a drone to use to scout the land looking for lost husbands. They can now be programmed to fly exact routes just like the farm videos. You make my Saturday much better…,,

For your washes, just dump a load of gravel onto each of them. That'll get you through a couple of monsoon seasons, then you do it again. The alternative is to take your grader or tractor and shove all the sand aside. It'll come back when the washes run, which will give you something to do with all that free time. 😎☘️
The stag-esque music when the wifey was saying "unfortunately my husband left for the desert and left me alone with the gas man" told me the only story I needed to know. At least it's not a pizza delivery guy, so Herb's safe there.
