Could it be one of the catchiest songs ever? My hips move on their own!! Rock the boat!!
It's possible. We appreciate you and your continued support....Row yeah!
One of my lifetime favourite disco songs from 1974 when I was a teen.
One of my favo songs. I was 14 when this came out. Started to buy records at 16 and this was one of the songs I bought at once.
First I heard you on the radio. Then I got the 45. Then I saw you on American Bandstand. You had me from on the radio - the first time. Glad to see this.
One of my all time favorite songs
Thank you for "Rock the Boat," being one of your favorite songs. Listen to our new release, "Rock the Boat 4Love," on all of the streaming platforms. It's a collaboration with Master Gee of The Sugarhill Gang and Julian Johnson. When you search, include the words by The Hues Corporation and Master Gee. Let us know what you think and tell others.
In the fall of 1974 I started riding a school bus for the first time since a couple of months in Kindergarten and this song came up the charts soon after. Always LOVED this song.
Great lyrics, so 70's.
Eu tinlha esse disco compacto simples saudades decada 70....brasil tempos que nunca mais volta Marcou época
I’ve loved this since I was a kid and it was in the charts. Glad to see the band is still performing. Shame I’m British and they are American, I’ll never see them live. Thanks for all the great memories this song invokes of my carefree happy childhood.
Thank you for the kind words and your longtime support for our group. There are Promoters around U.K. and Europe who could book us for a tour if you research it.
Peace and Blessings.
Wendell
Thank you Debbie for you support and staying with us. We were on our way to Europe right before COVID-19 changed us forever. We are still trying to get over there to perform. Check our website often, www.nattyrecords.com. Peace and blessings.
Just made my day , fantastic.

Back to late 70’s…
Poxa nos volta no tempo ouvijdo esda linda musica
Amo muito esta música.
A banda mandou bem principalmente o cara do contra baixo fenomenal parabéns brasil
Wish I could’ve been in my 20s during the 70s. I imagine myself walking to to the club like Benny blanco with this song in the background. Lol
This song keeps us working and keeps me humble. This is Wendell, long time lead singer for the group. Thanks for controlling support The Hues Corporation. Peace and blessings to you and your family.
@@nattyrecords1412 wow didn’t think I’d get the lead singer to comment. Love your music and it takes a real musical genius to creat a song that continues through the generations. I’m 25 and I feel like I was born in the wrong era. Songs today don’t even last 6 months.
Te acuerdas de tu visita a chile en 1978 al festival de viña del mar
no cussing, no twerking, yet they can produce an iconic song...
True. We still perform that same old school way. Thanks for your positivity.
I had no sterile tick tick tick tick tick tick 0 and 1 computer beat tick tick tick tick tick tick tick
Young people just don't know they're missing out on. They have to build up a skin to listen to tick tick tick tick tick tick tick it sounds like the inner workings of a clock!
Espetáculo 👏👏👏👏👏

We hope to perform for all of you in the very near future. Thanks for your support through the years.
Dope!
Sensacional
It has been almost 50 years but sounds just like yesterday
Are these the original artists I wonder . Pity this was shot from one angle. I well remember the stunnin g original, made back in the days when the world was a better place; more peaceful, less war violence and hatred - then there was the music, oh! the music...
Thank you for your remarks. There was the music. No, these are not the original members, lead singer, Wendell E. Anderson, Sr. has been with the group since 1989 and sang with the last two members. The original members would be 90+ years old; the last member, Hubert Ann Kelly passed away a few years ago. You can learn more at www.nattyrecords.com. The Hues Corporation were honored at the Legends of Vinyl Awards Celebration this past weekend, in New Jersey.
