Disco Disco Disco is magical the 1970s was a wonderful time
Best times!
ONE FINE VOICE ~ she really took care of herself, she looks and sounds FANTASTIC!
Thelma you're beautiful, a national treasure!!,💋
SHE WAS " THE. VOICE "
Whitney’s momma rocking it!
Oh my God this is sooooo good!
If there was ever a song that fit a singer perfectly this one does.
Yup just like Gloria Gaynor and I will survive
She just turned 78 and still looks and sounds absolutely phenomenal. Also this is one of my top five favorite disco songs! Impossible to sit or stand still!
She’s 78 as of Today and yes she looks Great!
@@tinawhite9042 Her age was wrong on Wikipedia for a time, they've corrected it and I have done the same. Thanks!
Was back on the disco floor 1977!!
I was born in 77.. house music is disco's revenge!!
Golden voice
I LOVE how she dances and struts in this video. She's wild and wonderful and Soulful. I also think she sounds a bit like Cissy Houston - another amazing soul singer (and mother of Whitney Houston).
I spent hours all night circling the dance floor and loved every minute
Great great tune ❤
LOVE HER AND THIS SONG!!!!!!!
BRING THIS MUSIC BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't the times are gone.
@@FormerIFBBJudge i don't believe in "can't"
@@maryjodeblasis4484 Literally those times are gone so you can never make that music again. Some things can't be done rather you believe it or not.
@@FormerIFBBJudge ohhh OK RIGHTFIGHTER??

I found it
I know Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes recorded this song first but this is Thelma Houston’s song.
Ripe for a modern Version? Thoughts?
I've got this on 45 rpm and never played it.
How Come?
@@aftandsepolyp as a kid i, collected 45rpms form walmart 1977 to 1982. Ive got over 50 rpms in fire safe that i, never played and there in the original sleeve rapped in plastic.
I’m here after she was revealed to be the clock
Who is the drummer and bass player ,please?
Henry Davis was the original bass.
Why does it look like it was filmed in 2003?
There were DooWop shows done in the late 90’s onward mostly in Pittsburg, PA. Many old time great singers doing the great songs of a better time for music were brought to do their songs. Many are or were deceased. I’m 77 but at a young age, remember this music, that was played and we danced to. Such a great time!
Kind of sad people don't even know how to dance to this
Those people who were youngsters in the 70s are now 70+ years old
