I remember when this song came out in 1970, I was 21 and I loved it, I am now 75 and still love it, and, she looks better now than in 1970, so hot and sexy, just lovely!
Back in 1970 I was 9 and my older sisters had bought the single. Didn’t blow my mind at the time but grew on me as I got more Oder and loved it for the last 30 years.
@@douglasb5046 Yes sir, if you ever run across The Time Machine let me know, I would more than happily jump on it, best regards to you and long life!
Good to see someone who hasn't let themselve go like so many, what a beauty & quality performer!
She's so freekin gorgeous and full of sex appeal. Saw a video of her singing this from way back late 60's early 70's but man I fell in love with her big brown doe eyes. I guess I still am😉

Born 1942. Song released 1970 and she's been dancing her ass off ever since.
Freda Oh my!!!!! she is amazing. A stunningly beautiful woman with the voice of an angel.👏👏👏👏
If I had to design the perfect woman, Freda would be that woman. Like the song, she's a classic!
Shes a bruiser. She takes on guys for money.
Freda Payne has aged very well. She looks great! And sounds really good. Good backup singers and band too.

Not many people after a certain age can sing like they used to but Frida is the exception. Girl still got it.
Man isn't that the truth! Still gorgeous and woah what pipes!
I was 8 years old when this came out, my older sisters wore this record out!
One of my favourite female singers and gorgeous as well 🥰
Talent and Class always shines when and where ever it goes.
None of the so called ''Singers' of this era can even come close.
Ms. Freda looked darn good to be 62 on this video, I was 12 when this song dropped never got tired of hearing it 😊

🙏TELL THE TRUTH AND SHAME THE DEVIL... TELL THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH... SO HELP US GOD ALMIGHTY🙏 WE OLD FOLKS KNOW THAT THIS SONG IS TRUE... A LOT OF US HAVE CONTRACTS MARRIAGE...
Amen. Which is why I've remained happily single.
She also sang "Bring the Boys Home" an anti Vietnam war song.
Wow she’s absolutely gorgeous ages like a big bottle of the finest of wines.
Class.
It’s got everything 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Idole
Perfect dress for her figure😊
She sounded great. Quite sexy for an old gal. I think this was the only hit she had, but it was a good one.
She also had the anti-war track "Bring the Boys Home." It was a million seller but oddly not heard at all on radio today.
Quite sexy when a young gal too.
She has released like 27 albums , been in a dozen or so movies , her thing was Jazz music , not so much pop music .
After her anti war song she was blackballed 😢
Wow 🤩
"Fine Wine"!
I come up with my only sister (r.i.p., 12-16-23) listening to this song from decades ago, and was just on Sherri Shephard show
Still gorgeous!
love this song, thought bit rushed this time
💖🏆🎯
Still gorgeous and still and incredible voice since this was almost 25 years after the original recording. Just amazing!
I'm glad they increased the tempo for this performance. I always thought the original was too slow.
If times had been different, she would have been a superstar like Whitney.
I agree❤
Adore Freda and her sister Scherrie. They both did events for me in L.A. and the desert years ago and we all played the classy 4500 McKinney in Dallas for the late Lenny Bleecher.
