Esta cancion con Thelma Houston la escuche en 1976 por primera vez , tenia 14 años , practicamente fue la primera cancion disco que llego a mi y ello no se me olvida,

One problem with this song and video,........it is only 4 minutes long. Should be longer to allow her to really kill it. She gets revved up when she has more time and she was headed there. She needed two more minutes to take us to church!!!!!
Mister Barack Obama Sir Mister President Sir In all honesty To be this good You don't have to be Black But if you are, it helps London, England, August 2016
This song reminds me of a time when two gay guys or girls could not dance together with out getting the shit beat out of them for doing it. I was in jr high and they where having the jr high dance first time I ever dance with another guy and even my first kiss for a guy. The gym was over 5 class room the basement floor and the bathroom was down there was well. We danced in one of the class rooms and one of the teachers come up and said "what you boys up to" well she had already seen and said" just be quite and and lock the room and by all means keep your clothes on "LOL. Was not till year later found out she was gay as well. How I wish I could go back to the time, just makes me sad to think those days of sweet shy boys are over and life got harder.
His name was Eli Kakou and he was a comedian. He was wearing the costume of one of the charaters he played on stage "Mme Sarfati". This video is an excerpt from a French TV show where all the guests were gathered together for the final song here performed by Thelma Houston, just before the closing credits.
I believe he must be some type of well known drag queen. Apparently he didn't know what do do, so he had to ask the announcer. It is actually really funny.
Paul Mason looks like the idiot *HE* is...he's off on his comment about Baccara by at least 2 years..Hey Paul do't messs with Thelma with fake crap posts...Come on Paul you're being mocked here and yer not doing a thing about it...ha ha ha ha ha you *LOSER*
Come on Paul have some respect for yourself..you are being wiped here and i proved your comment means nothing...i effectually showed everyone here on your RUclips comment that you are a nobody
Paul Mason was just wp[ed with his fake comment...so was his entire *FAMILY* his daughters and sons..His kids are like him total losers...Come on Paul waiting for a response

I so want to see a recording of Thelma performing this song live with a band backing her up. Anyone out there know of one?
Here's one. It seems to have taken place in Brazil: ruclips.net/video/cLRRmznw944/видео.html

It's Elie Kakou, he was a french humorist famous in the 80's/90's
I believe he must be some type of well known drag queen. Apparently he didn't know what do do, so he had to ask the announcer. It is actually really funny.
Sorry, dancers know nothing about 70's. Thelma 👏
They always have such dorky moves for the back up dancers.
Is she related to the late Whitney Houston?
+volkan chiqui No. Not at all. Everything would seem that way though wouldn't it? They both have graced us with wonderful music!
Yes, Thelma is her mother!!

Don't mess please. This song was released in 1977 and Baccara was in 1980, but both are greatest songs the Disco Era.
