What pump you like better? That one or air moto ? I bet it’s getting tough with all the sponsors sending you stuff, plus what about the Flo oil filter? Does the 2024 not need that one?
I have a 2024 RG and I just got it back from 1k service. Make sure you check the “conduit” that runs under your rear fender, it has the wires for your tail light and lisc plate light. It’s only glued on and mine was hanging down, rubbing on my back tire.
You should get the low profile oil drain pan from HD.. it’s awesome
One thing I would never be without is a battery power pack, I was riding in the mountains in MD one Sunday afternoon and my 1 year old battery died without warning, luckily I had my battery power pack with me and could start the bike and find a auto store open and swop it out.... to say I was crapping myself is a understatement....
I thought the 1000 mile service was more than just an oil change? Dealers say it’s important that they do it (and charge more) because they are going to check the torque on other critical parts. Did you do that off video or are you saying that it’s not important? I’m just curious and want to understand, from a warranty perspective, if that matters. Because if all it is is an oil change I can do that myself and don’t have to pay a bunch of money to a dealer. What’s your advice.

The first change in any engine is going to flush assembly and machining particles from the engine. I change oil early in all of my vehicles. I did my 1,000 at 750 miles, I wanted that oil out of there.
I did have the dealer do the first service, I’ll do the rest of them.
Cool. Maybe you'd be kind enough to do an instructional video on how you would - without assistance, fix a flat tire while on the open road. And yes, the puncture is never easily accessible. So I'd like to see your road process in finding a puncture on a flat tire on the side of the road and then the repair process. Thank you.

I’ve changed plenty of Harley oil with not a lot of metal shavings. If that company sent me a free magnetic dip stick, I would run with it. Otherwise it seems like snake oil. Save your money.

I've been there with the oil spill. Too many times. Now, 1st thing, I put an old shower curtain under the bike just in case.

Great video as usual. Are there any good videos that show that pump starting from flat to a full tire fill up? If not, you should try one sometime. I’m curious his long it would take. The small fill you just did was much faster than the other brand I have. Hope to catch up with you at the home coming!

You should also think about adding a jump starter to your kit or at least one of you in the group should have one and here's an old time biker trick add a waterproofer to your clothes and your jeans like Nikwax it is so easy you can even do it in the washing machine to help you if you get any pop-up shower butt is not a replacement for rain gear
