Thank you for bringing this conversation to the forefront. I am saddened that the church in a lot of ways has become a place of false hope meaning they’re trying to manipulate us followers of Jesus to follow Jesus in a way that would make the church happy and give back to them, but instead cause us to suffer i.e. word of Faith and prosperity gospel churches. I pray that the church stops focusing on the self but Jesus. I pray that the Word becomes a forefront and we learn the right things from the church and the false hope stops.
