The 23 is a stellar pistol...
I agree. Thanks for watching.
One of the BEST Pistols ever MADE!!!!! (( A MAN'S GUN))
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Glock is a Glock is a Glock
Some say that "once you go Glock, you never go Bock [back?]). Thanks for watching.
I've started carrying the Glock 27 lately due to some back issues. (Man, is finding .40 ammo and accessories hard after the cough-cough!) Might look at getting the 23 again after selling my Gen 3 many years ago. Thanks for getting it out and stoking the fire to get one again...😂 😉
.40S&W ammo is available, though a little more expensive than 9mm. I like .40, though it seems to get a bad rap. Thanks for watching.
Really enjoyed, really like the Glock 23, thanks
Thank you for watching.
Great video, keep recovering strong!
Thanks for watching.
Love the fourty
You need a Glock 32 - a Glock 19 with a lot more punch!
Probably true, though I'd have to get another reloading toolhead and dies for the .357Sig - and I don't like reloading bottleneck cartridges. Thanks for watching.
The .40is a great and effective cartridge. It is a higher pressure round, and needs a heavier gun than the 9mm to avoid beating itself and the shooter mercilessly. I agree on shooting preferences, I like shooting .45 more than .40 in most guns. I don’t mind it in my High Power as it’s a heavier gun designed for .40. I am tempted to get a new Glock 22 in the 5th generation as it’s a heavier gun and I have heard that the extra weight tames the recoil and lets the gun live longer due it not beating itself apart.
Thanks for watching and adding your thoughts.
G5 MOS 23 is my fav. Still like the G5 19 MOS as well.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Federal 165 is pretty close to week 10mm. .40 can hold its own depending on the load.
Yeah... Alot of people don't like the Finger Grooves ... But they Favor the Gen 3's ALOT...!! when the Gen 4 has TWICE as good of a Grip...
Yup. But different strokes for different folks. Thanks for watching.
It's okay if you miss once in a while especially since you're not shooting with your dominant hand. Trigger looked too flat to be stock.
Shhhhh.....I didn't mention it was an aftermarket trigger. I wouldn't want the Y-Tube nannies upset. 😎
💪🏻
Thanks for watching.
You keep shooting that sir, your good shoulder gonna be needing surgery...😁
Nahhh.....40 isn't THAT bad. Thanks for watching.
@@RidersRange Ha ha
I have seen dry fire laser systems for practice. Do not know much about them. What would you recommend for a glock. Have you done any videos on such systems
It all depends on whether you want just a laser system (G-Sight ELMS runs about $60), just a simulated trigger reset system (Glock E-Trainer about $25 ), or a full reset and laser system (≈ $500 at the Glock store). I did a video on the original G-Sight ELMS a while ago and I use it regularly. It's a simple drop-in device that works in any pistol, not just a Glock, though it doesn't reset the trigger. I haven't used any of the simulated trigger reset systems, so I can't comment on their effectiveness as a realistic training device.
👍👍
Thanks once again for watching.
What kind of ear protection are you wearing in this video?
My go-to hearing protection is MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X with gel ear seals.
I get so tired of all the commentary I see about how "Stupid and worthless" the 40 is. Please.....
The .40S&W cartridge is still a viable defense round, but there are a lot of haters. Thanks for watching.
Rider, you are a great marksman. 👍🏻
Once again, thanks for watching.
