Oris has always built watches that they like for real people. Not so much for horology snobs or othwrwise the sensitive and delicate of the watch world. Good on them. Love Oris.
Shit Dennis! I am a fish but can't even swim. Other than Keven Costner on the set of Waterworld, who really needs a four thousand metre, 49mm, monster such as this? Perhaps your friend with the big wrist might be able to handle it.
When I first saw this I thought why the hell is Oris throwing their hat in the _most useless watch_ game but now that I've thought about it, it makes a lot more sense than the PO or Deepsea because its WAY cheaper. This watch is a novelty, its not remotely possible to use it to spec so its more of just a style of watch and I actually think it looks pretty good for being the cheapest. PS Love to see your take on the new PRX. I might have ordered one 35mm in silver so...
Ha, just saw this comment and just released my PRX thoughts. Let's just say there is no way I'm ordering one, but if I were, the 35mm is the objectively right answer.
I notice the model wearing it had his cuff folded back, at 23mm thick, I would have to cut 2 inches off the left sleeve of all my jackets. Silly watch for inadequate people?
I put a school of tuna in the thumbnail since it's built like a tuna fish can. Honestly Seiko is going to need to step up their thickness game lest these Swiss companies steal the Tuna title from them!
Omega and Rolex are equally gimmicky. No one descends to these depths While Omega is a mechanically better watch than the 2 competitors. Not sure that Rolex is better than oris. The name Rolex is a gimmick in itself. which is unjustifiably overrated. Anyway, of the three, I would take the Oris.
This solidifies Oris in the Swiss Holy Trinity Poseidon League and I love it. Go deep!

I love it. The aquis pro, the deepsea and the avenger 2 cobra yellow would by my trio of monsters.
I just want this dial in the Aquis 41.5mm.

Oh I mentioned it and his question back to me... "How much?"

Good god, why did they have to include a date??
Because you need to know the date when you’re 4000m deep, bro 🤣🤣🤣
Ready now for everyday wear!
Because by the time they recover your body at 4000m, the coroner will able to work out the day you died.
Oris does it again
Can't wait to buy this watch at 40% off
Ha, good point. Jomashop I've seen get new Oris releases pretty fast, sometimes in around 6 months, usually within a year.
You will be lucky the Aquis cal 400 has went up by $600 since in came out. Might want to buy a rolex as they have dropped in price
@@me-cq7wv it's ok, I'll just ask for another 600$ discount 👍
Seiko marinemaster 1000m went to 4000meters. Proud Japanese engineering
Here's what we can make.
What you can afford is a 200 metres drive watch.
Oris Ultra Deep lol

It does sound like some kind of oral hygiene device.
