Very helpful, thanks Andrew, i have been enjoying your videos and have gained useful information that would otherwise be painful trying to learn from the manual. I really appreciate how clearly you explain the DAW functions and often mysterious menus. thanks again!
Very useful super-condensed tips on creating a song. Especially useful to me is the '3 track trick' for recording. Thanks so much for your time and dedication!
Long time without visiting you. My Health back and forth. But it still seems to me to be the best work on Cubase on the entire network. Always grateful.
Federico,,, I have missed you,,, I was thinking about you recently. I'm sorry you have had health issues. I hope they eventually pass and you are completely restored. andrew
@@TheDigitalAudioManual I'm writing a lot, but I don't have time to mix what I record. I hope I can dedicate a little time to it next year or I will leave a legacy of songs that no one will ever finish producing. I miss your tutorials too. They still seem fantastic to me (the best). Anyway, I hope to follow you more frequently. Although I still remain between two waters (I don't know if it will be understood, it is a Spanish saying). In the end. I still really enjoy what you do when I can see it. A big hug from Spain.
Another way of recording multiple takes in Cubase 13 is to use the Track Versions feature. With Cycle on it can even be set up to record a new take on every cycle.
hi alain,, I use lanes once the recording is done to do the comps,, or many times I will convert lanes to tracks and use them to thicken the comped vocal,,, but when it comes to the initial tracking,, the 3 tracks is the way I do it now.
Great info, thanks!
The result is great!
thank you Eric,,,, andrew
Great job 👏

Cool workflow video! Question: the 3-track tip for vocals was unexpected. Have you found using lanes problematic?
